Taqueria Garibaldi is located in a shopping plaza and offers some pretty solid food in a no-frills atmosphere. The no-frills atmosphere to me is usually a good sign for a Mexican restaurant. I'm a firm believer that the more humble to surroundings, you will often find the best Mexican food. This place here was no exception. For starters, the salsa they brought out along with the chips was pretty amazing. It was an excellent start to an excellent meal. I ended up getting one of the burritos and I have to say when the food was brought out, this burrito was huge. It was also pretty good. The music was a bit loud, but not terribly so. We were able to still have a conversation easily over the music. Another small complaint is that my food was brought out about five minutes after everyone else's. It made for some awkward chit chat as I encourage everyone to eat and they insisted that they wait. All In all, it was a pretty good lunch and I would definitely recommend this particular establishment.

If I could give this restaurant more than only five stars, I would. They are always so nice and SO quick to seat us when we arrive to the restaurant. The ambiance is exactly what you expect from a Mexican restaurant. Now to the food... I've never gotten anything that I don't like, but I definitely found an absolute favorite- the birria tacos. They were suggested by our server and were EVERYTHING I expected them to be and more. The brisket was falling apart, juicy, and tasted incredible. Then dipping it in the sauce on the side as well as the special spicy salsa and lime on them... my mouth is WATERING thinking about it. My kids both got the enchilada kids meal and ate every bite as well. It's an amazing deal for only $5 for a kids meal! I will likely never order anything else from here but these tacos.

Found by Yelp, kinda a hole in wall, used GPS to find it didn't see it at red light. It next to staples on the right. Staff was nice but inside very simple. Salsa is chucky but that great with me. And thin chips which are my favorite. We never eat here they have combination plates so I got Dinner I and wife got Dinner K. So we could sample alot of different food. And of all of it the tamales was the worse Of the 7 items we got combined. It was good just in my opinion not the best, fluata to me was best. Is was all good food. I would order any of them again. The cheese dip was great, lot of food. Only issue I had was I wanted unsweetened tea but I got sweet. The chicken that was in my meal was well seasoned and wet. These maybe our new restaurant for when we travel in these town. I seen staff play (joke ) with customers, also when we ordered the waiter explained every item in the order to make sure we got we wanted or if it wasn't what we thought it was we could change it, I love that. He did it for every customer.

Definitely not the best Mexican restaurant. The salsa had huge pieces of tomatoes and was very tasty. The cheese dip was quite bland. My son loved his 4 hard beef tacos. I had a steak enchilada and steak was very gamey. This was my second time however not sure I will be back.

Normally okay. However, the tamale was slightly rancid. The beef fajita had very little meat on it. Not going back.

So this has been on my list and I finally came here on a Thursday evening with my son. It's at the end of a shopping center where a Walmart is. We got there about 5:30 PM. It was not busy at all. We were promptly greeted by a hostess that sat us in a booth. We started off with the chips and salsa, but on the menu it does say after two baskets they will charge you for the chips and salsa. We only had one. The chip could've been a little thinner. It's rude to find a raspberry margarita so I wanted to get one unfortunately they didn't have any frozen ones. They were just on the rocks. I was pretty shocked when I looked at the receipt and saw that it was $17 for a Margarita and it definitely wasn't worth that much. It had kind of a weird taste to it. We did get the cheese dip and it was very delicious. I decided to try the Mexican lasagna, which was so delicious. I got it with the beef and it was layers of ground beef, pico beans, and possibly some rice too. It was a good portion and I ended up bringing the other half home. My son ended up getting nachos with shrimp, chicken and steak and he really enjoyed it and finished his whole plate. I will definitely be back sooner than later because I love some good Mexican food, but I will probably end up getting just a soda next time. Fernando was our waiter and he was very attentive. I will say the restaurant in the bathrooms were clean. There's only one bathroom each for men and women. I would think it a restaurant this big they would have more stalls.

The establishment was clean and not overly loud when we arrived at 4:00. Not busy at all, but did take a while for a hostess to greet us and seat us. Odd for only a couple patrons already seated. We sat outside to enjoy the music.... Obviously got loud once the band started and that's ok as we were here for them. Service was a little slow, even when he o my had two or three tables to attend to. The margaritas were good and refreshing. We started with guacamole and the presentation was different... a perfect mound plated rather than a bowl. It was lacking seasonings as it was very bland. Now my mistake was ordering puffy shrimp tacos. Never heard of them so gave them a try. The shrimp was good, but the rest of the taco was tasteless. Dinner was served with rice and beans, both cold. Would I go back? Maybe just for a frozen peach margarita, but not to eat. So, probably not.

The rice was hard and flavorless. Yuck! I called to bring this to their attention and the reception I received was beyond unprofessional and they hung up on me. Needless to say I brought the food right back to them- to their dismay- I showed them the order. When she acknowledged her mistake I turned around and left. Never to return. Ever! The sides are all fairly good, except the guacamole, which is almost tasteless and of weird watered down pale green color, likely batch pre-made and preserved with an additive of lime juice. The ladies working here are wonderful, both attentive and kind. Interior is a nice conversion from the Italian restaurant Gino's which used to be in this space for close to a decade.
