I've ordered the tamales on multiple occasions, and every time they've been dry. The dough and filling are so dense that I end up leaving most of it because it's incredibly difficult to chew and swallow. Most recently, I tried their burrito, and it was disappointing on multiple levels. The portion was very small for the price, and it lacked even the most basic seasoning. The meat didn't taste like it had salt or pepper. Honestly, burritos from Chipotle have more flavor. I also tried the shrimp tacos, which were about 80% lettuce and sour cream, with very little shrimp. Once again, the shrimp had no noticeable seasoning. This place used to be packed with authentic flavors, but the quality has clearly gone downhill. After this last experience, I won't be returning or recommending it to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food.
