On Tuesdays the tacos are $1.25 a taco, which is a steal! We usually order the Al pastor (spicy pork) tacos and mulitas here. Their tongue here is pretty good too! Al pastor tacos - spicy pork is tender and had the right amount of spice to it. The flour tacos were not the best, but the spicy pork is so good/the price of the tacos on Tuesday overshadowed the flour tacos. Al pastor mulitas - crispy tortilla stacked goodness filled with al pastor, tomato, avocado, and cheese They usually give only 2 sauces when they hand you your food! We finally tried this after its other trucks around. Having a coupon we tried this location and even without the discount, it was well worth the value!!! After reading reviews, we tried the chicken tacos. My almost 9 year old GOBBLED up 3 saying they were SO good. They were comparable to any leftist Mexican place. The carne asada sopes would be my recommendation!!! They're my hubby's favorite dish, and usually I'm not a fan. Tacos were slightly but good amount of soggy, like just wet enough. Asked for radish, carrot, and jalapeño side - these were not available on the takeout menu. They gave me two slices of small radish and a long, skinny grilled jalapeño. Felt skimped. Especially with the amount paid - Lengua was an extra $2, totaling $16.99. I've ordered here countless times, probably at least once a week and normally everything I ask for is included. I'm only rating 3 stars because it seems they've been sloppy lately. Maybe because they're busier than usual? I'm not sure but the most recent orders they've been forgetting some items. Now I ordered here enough to get a $25 reward & I used that reward only to realize they completely forgot the torta. If it was a drink or a side, I wouldn't care too much but that torta was my bf's lunch. Not really worth the whole $25 off if I didn't get what I ordered. I made the mistake of coming here on short notice without reading reviews because El Asadero (by the tire shop) only takes cash and I don't know where Tacos El Asadero (formerly by Jumbo) relocated. If you can get to either of those trucks, it is well worth the extra distance. My boyfriend and I drove down Rainier in search of a taco truck that accepted card and found this one. We bought quite a few beef and chicken tacos without high expectations. I was sooo ready to eat basic ass tacos with some lime and salsa. Instead, we brought home chicken drenched in sauce (which didn't taste terrible), but I began to question if the sauce was there to mask old meat as soon as I SMELLED the beef tacos. The beef smelled like straight up fart. I still ate it though lol. My sense of smell tends to be more sensitive than others and I thought that might have been the case here. It wasn't. There is no way this meat was 100% safe to eat. I took one bite and ended up giving the rest to my dog--which I am now regretting due to the bubbly feeing in my stomach. When I was dying with the flu and should not have been out driving I was, I had things to do besides dying and laying on my couch watching trashy TV. I get to the window and see a sign on construction paper that said the special of the day was a jamon torta, OMG that is my most favorite torta of them all, seriously, it was a sign on a sign. I order that jamon torta and one spicy pork taco for good measure, $5.00. I wait with the Hispanic boys and realize I am the only gringa there; boy did I pick the right taco truck to try for the first time. While waiting I notice they have a 'dinning' room, ok it's just a tarp-ish tent with tables in it set up for patrons to eat and that thing was full of more Hispanic boys (and no Michael O they were not Mitzie ones). I'm seriously feeling like I'm down in San Ysidro for a second or maybe it was just that the flu had me hallucinating or something who knows. I wait some more the truck is small and I had six people ahead of me, they finally received their food and I know I'm next, my food is finally ready, I grab my bag and head home with it. It's smelling up my car but in a good way. Once home I rip open the bad boy and attack my torta. First off it was sliced ham not a thick piece of ham like I'm use to but it was tasty and pretty good for a Seattle torta. My only complaint was by the time I got home the bread was super soggy; I didn't care for the soggy torta bread. Anyways, I ate half the torta, all the tasty not so hot, hot carrots, my not so spicy spicy pork taco and I tried both salsas the red was better than the green, I was stuffed.
