Overall a chill environment and ith a nice front patio/ sidewalk seating area. We enjoyed the chips n salsa varieties, surprisingly the darker salsa wasn't spicier just a different flavor. Orde re d the chicken burrito which was gigantic easily enough for 2 to share. Very well made fresh ingredients, covered in sauces and cheesy. And we all tried different margaritas, mine was a strawberry fruity take on a margarita, good and garnished nicely. Rated fresh and flavorful, not very strong and a bit pricey. Especially with some being $100+ for a drink was wild. Overall nice place, nice environment, wasn't busy and tasted good but is priced higher than most Mexican restaurants in the city.

Naturally, I pulled up the Yelp app to search for something open nearby for recommendations. Turns out Delicia is one of my friend's boyfriend's favorite restaurant in Broad Ripple. We were only there for drinks (which were amazing) and they were definitely worth making another trip for. I ordered the "Pulparindo" which is slightly spicy tamarind vodka, fresh mango puree, raw sugar simple, lime juice and a yummy tajin rim. I would have had more of it wasn't last call when we placed our order. Another popular choice was the "FIRE 'N' Ice" made with el charro jalapeño infused reposado tequila, hibiscus I basil I habanero reduction, tres chiles infused ice ball. Beautiful presentation with all the drinks. Our waitress was great and attentive. I also really liked how I felt instantly in a better mood in that space and I will be going back again for dinner soon.

The chips were thick, hot, and fresh, which is basically all I ask for in a chip. The tacos were the real stars. My least favorite was the mushroom taco, mostly because it was a little too cheesy for me. But the crispy fish taco? INCREDIBLE. The flavors, sauces, and textures were all so good. WOW! This is my new favorite restaurant!…read more I grew up in Southern California; Mexican food is comfort food. As a new(ish) vegan, I was resigned to cooking my own, whenever I craved Mexican food... but at Tlaolli, I was spoiled for choice! I ended up trying the hibiscus taco (clever, creative, with a wonderful melding of spices and a punch of bright acidity), the tofu mole taco (smoky and creamy, with well-balanced spices), and the Nonono tamale (no meat, no dairy, no gluten), which was roasted poblano peppers and soy chorizo with black bean paste and corn masa (a bit dry, but super flavorful and great chew). And there was housemade tamarindo, which I have always loved, and it wasn't over-sweetened, which I loved even more. Tart and bright and refreshing! His Goatness the Hubbins got a mixed platter of vegan tacos (I was proud of him), and dad got meat items, which he enjoyed (the owner let us know all meats are all natural, with no hormones). And we all shared salsa and chips, which was smooth and well-flavored, with lots of spices but only mild heat. (I could have drunk the stuff.) Atmosphere is intimate and cozy, with a few tables inside the colorful cafe and a few painted picnic tables outside. Everything is clean and tidy, including the restroom. Service was friendly, sociable, and passionate about the food they're creating. Seriously, I love this place. Can't wait to try more of the vegan menu options!
