The place is clean, the workers are friendly and the drinks have free refills... all that plus they have bomb food... My go-to meal for lunch is the asada burrito with red salsa and nacho cheese....with 2-3 cups of appetizer beans... The go-to meal for breakfast is the huevos rancheros... just like my momma used to make me.. Today, 3pm, I was feeling like having breakfast... asked if it was too late for breakfast and they said no. First time have i have the ham and egg breakfast torta, added salchicha(hit dogs) and I think I have a new go-to meal at this place. It was delicious. The tamarindo water was the perfect compliment to my breakfast sandwich.. I definitely recommend.

The tacos are standard size street tacos but they don't skimp out on the meat . They have 3 types of salsas, green habanero one, red and a creamy green one. They were absolutely delicious and not for the faint of heart . These range for medium to hot so prepare your non Mexican friends. All tacos were delicious but the chorizo one stood out. First, The music…read morewas WAY too loud. Like club level loud at 11:30 on a Wednesday morning. We asked them to turn it down (politely) and they barely turned down a notch if at all. We could barely hear ourselves talk without shouting at each other. The waitress was nice enough though. Polite and took our orders quickly. Food came out pretty fast and was fresh. The stand out in my meal were the freshly made tortillas (highly recommend) and the pastor taco I had. The tacos and the salsa are definitely worth coming back for (that's what gets the three stars.) if the rest of the food was at this tacos level this would have been a 4 star review easily. However, the carne asada left a lot to be desired. It was very dry and overcooked and THINLY sliced and not well seasoned. It would be worth it for Desvelados to use skirt steak instead of the paper thin slice of beef they are calling carne asada. It'll be worth the extra cost and I know the customer (myself included) would be happy to pay a little more for a higher quality, better flavored and better cooked piece of meat. The rice was also undercooked, but just barely. It was not soft and fluffy but slightly still hard and dry. Flavor was good though. Texture was not. Also, yall gotta do complimentary chips and salsa. What kinda Mexican restaurant doesn't do chips and salsa!? Come on man!
