Our server was Emilio and he did us right! Directed us drinks and food. Four of us ordered; an old fashion w Japanese whiskey (I was hesitant), Moscow mule, Asian beer (very smooth finish) and a Jack&coke. Everyone was happy with their choices. Side salad w the house dressing was delicious. Scallops seasoned perfectly, veggies not overcooked or soaked in oil, so tasty! Filet was cooked to perfection, perfect amount of seasonings and the cut was prime. The fried rice was tender, and not soaked in oil! SO much flavor~ I had the Hollywood sushi roll and it was loaded w crab and it had 10 rolls for $15! The ambience was swanky and upscale. Did not feel like we were in Sherman. Cozy, velvet chairs, indirect lighting made the vibe so cozy, inviting and warm. Such a gem for Sherman. I didn't want to post because I don't want it to get overrun but I want it to be successful for all their thought and hard work that went into creating such a stunning, ambient atmosphere. She took our order, no smiles from her the whole time. The food was just as good as any other of the the little whole in the wall places around here. The food was way over priced. We were expecting it to be a much higher quality because of the price. At check out, it was much more than we expected because the waters they charged. We got charged $2 for using our credit card. We would've paid $22 for our meals but evaded up paying $27 for charges we didn't expect. The experience was worth almost $30 (after tip). We won't be back again. Sorry Taco Fanny. We'll be going back to our regular little taco places, who are friendly and don't penalize us for using our card and drinking water.
