They seem alright but something that got to me was I recently went to purchase some biobizz products and noticed they had some 3-4 years old (new labels went into effect well over 2 years ago now). I commented to the guy that they were selling bad nutes (I have extreme experience with these products and know them like the back of my hand) and he shot back "I don't think they mysteriously combust after 2 years". Knowing what I know I jus kept my mouth shut and only bought the nutes because I needed them right then. I will be shopping through amazon or the other place up the street from here on out. PLEASE pay attention to expiration dates and do your research before you purchase here or risk your babies health and lives. read more

I'm already a loyal customer of Taproot Hydro; I garden in soil and they sell a number of the organic nutrients I like. Over the last several months I read a lot about hydroponic gardening and decided to give it a try. Just before the new year, I rode over to Taproot Hydro to pickup a basic deep-water-culture (DWC) kit. I walked out with equipment surpassing my expectations for a price far less than my estimate. It was all thanks to a phenomenal customer service experience. Josh knows hydro. Knows it so well in fact when I came into the store he built a top-feeding DWC rig to my specifications. BUILT IT. In front of me. Drilled holes, cut plastic, installed pumps, everything. And instead of selling me a clunky top-feeding spike, Josh rigged a custom ring of 1/4" tubing to provide even watering throughout the medium. When the kit was complete he walked me through every step of the process: how to setup, how to maintain and how to deal with common problems. Before I left he made sure I had all the additional required gear, answered my n00b questions and didn't mind breaking things down when I didn't understand. There are good reasons to shop at Taproot Hydro: large selection of nutrients (especially organics), knowledgeable guys behind the counter, reasonable prices.
