I decided to call Hodges Electrical and Heating. Mr.Hodges took his time to diagnose and fix my A/C within 1 hour. He was professional, on-time and he explained everything he was doing. He explained in detail what my system needed to run efficiently and what maintenance I would need to keep everything running smoothly. I was very impressed with his knowledge, and his ability to explain the problem that my Central A/C and furnace were having. He left everything clean and he stayed an extra 20 minutes to make sure all the vents and intake were clear and running properly. I will be using his services again. His prices was very reasonable. I was moving into my home from the west coast, with the movers bringing hundreds of boxes into the home. There is a area in the corner of the garage where half inch pvc piping is protruding from the sheet rock for a future garage sink. A box was pushed up onto one of the pipes and it cracked off inside the wall. Water was pouring into the garage at a high rate. I was able to turn off the water to the home, but now, on moving day, we were left with the prospect of spending the night in a hotel since it was 3:30 pm, and we had no idea who to call, especially at this late time in the day. I starting cold calling area plumbers for help. 3 or 4 calls later, and either no answer, or a "we can get someone to you tomorrow sometime", I called Mike at Walker's Plumbing. He answered, he heard the desperation in my voice, and even though it was now 4 pm, and he was over an hour away, he tells me not to worry and he will make his way to me right away. A little over two hours later my cracked water pipe was perfectly repaired, and at a very reasonable cost. Mike has a wonderfully positive attitude. Darrell called and let us know he was on the way and fixed our issue, going what I would consider over and above the standard service. Courteous and professional, Darrell did a wonderful job and the cost for the services were much less than what I expected. I'm at a loss as to why we hadn't utilized Wisler's services sooner. While I appreciate this company for making it out to my rental in a timely manner and addressing a…read moreclogged toilet, there are just some things that don't sit right with me and I think people need to be aware of. #1- they were called for a CLOGGED TOILET. I (the landlord) was not able to be present during the repair. Instead of just addressing the issue at hand, they walked around my entire house to include the basement and pointed out to her several things. ("Water pipes needed to be completely replaced, along with all the sewer lines", etc). I've had repairs done on the sewer lines last year and had a clean out installed by another company. This is totally noticeable because it looks brand new. The sewer line is fine. #2- i believe this was a fear-mongering tactic used to try to get more work and money out of her. Taking advantage of her not understanding these things. Again, they were called for a clogged toilet. Not a "broken water line", not a "backed up sewer", none of that. #3- the fill valve in the toilet needs to be "repaired". They quoted me $400 to repair a fill valve, flapper and supply line. This is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS!! A total rebuild kit costs $30 at Lowe's. They told her that she would need to replace the entire water tank as well. *** Can I just mention that a brand new toilet costs $100 at Lowe's??*** This is really sad and honestly criminal. I hope to god that you don't try this on anyone who doesn't know any better. I've been around this type of work my entire life and never have I EVER seen this kind of pricing. Absolutely not happening. Reevaluate your prices and be honest about what you're doing. Thanks for responding and unclogging the toilet quick, though. I do appreciate that.

I was on a "waiting list" with one place when I noticed a Star City Plumbing truck across the street from my house. I went over and spoke with the plumber and he suggested that I call his office (which I did) and the next morning Kevin and Ryan came ready, willing and able to unclog the nasty problem. I am grateful for the prompt and efficient job well done. I will be calling them again when needed.

They were here within 40 minutes, wrote us a quote cleaning the drain and installing a clean-out T in the basement pipe to make it easier now and in the future. They had the slow drain issue cleaned out, installed the clean out T by early afternoon and were done! Price was reasonable. We will use them again if needed.
