Best hotel I've stayed at in Blue Ash. Was better than the last time I was here when I stayed at…read morethe Embassy. Room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom could've been cleaner though- there was hair on the floor and all over the shower upon my arrival. Love a king bed room and didn't even have to ask for it lol. All the staff was very friendly. Was in the conference room for two days and the banquet staff was awesome. Ken was excellent! There was a young girl that was great too. Lots of seating in the lobby and plenty of parking. bar was overpriced, even for a hotel bar. A bud lite was $8 plus $1 tip, highway robbery. Bar was definitely better at the Embassy but that's it. Other than the bar prices my only complaints were that the doors were locked if you used the stairs. Like I walked down the stairs from the floor my room was on but couldn't get out into the hall? I ended up walking down to the first floor and using the exit door and walking outside. Also, no complimentary bottled water in the room. Maybe the HGIs don't do this, but most hotels of similar calibers do. Would be a nice touch. Overall enjoyed my stay and would definitely rebook for when i'm in Blue Ash/Greater Cincy again.

Restaurant is closed ... and has been mostly closed for two years. Bar is only open Monday, Friday & Saturday. Breakfast? Hampton Inn does a much better job. Essentially pre-cooked egg-like things, sausage links and potatoes, all from the freezer aisle of the grocery. Oranges; no bananas. No bagels. No English muffins. Just white bread and wheat bread. The cereal choices are all sugar-laden kids cereals. Not a single adult cereal offering. No decaf. Clean. WiFi was inop upon 6PM arrival. It started working sometime overnight.

This hotel's staff is what makes this hotel. A special shout out to a young lady named Lakes. She…read morewas very helpful when I had any question. Her smile lit up the lobby and she is PERFECT for the job!! You can tell she loves to help people!!! The hotel does need an update and i believe they are working on it. I do suggest a sign should be posted in lobby about construction and hours to expect noise levels to be louder than normal. It would also help explain the emptiness of plants and and type of greenery. Also would probably slow down negative reviews. My sister and I will be back to visit this location during our sister trips we take to Blue Ash. Please take time to recognize Lakes for her great customer service relations!!

Overall, the stay exceeded expectations. The staff was amazing, the room was clean, and the bed was beyond comfortable. So happy we chose this location. I was initially hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but I am glad I gave it a try. The first evening, we attended the manager's reception, which was nice, though it could use a little improvement. Let's throw in some cheese. Breakfast was great, especially the custom made omelet with sausage, jalapeños, onion, cheese, and spinach. They had an awesome breakfast spread overall. Really appreciated the early check in (room was ready via the app) and the late checkout. As a Diamond member, I loved the "princess parking" reserved for Hilton Honors Diamond guests but there was plenty of parking overall. Not to take away from anyone's experience, but honestly, this was a great stay so surprised at some of the reviews. If anyone needs a recommendation, we stayed in room 525. I didn't get in the pool but they have a nice pool and fitness center. Maybe next time. It's a good choice. Either dinner at the hotel or dive to a nearby restaurant but friendly staff and a great choice all around.

Positives: Staff were friendly and professional. Our room/suite was super spacey and clean. Love the two tone lighting in the bathroom. Loved an additional mirror and dress up space between bedroom and bath. Kitchen is very roomy. Room temp was awesome. Shower pressure was perfect. Overall property clean and well decorated. Things I wasn't a fan of: the half missing shower door. We're not in downtown NYC this is a lovely property in a suburb of Cincinnati. You walk into the shower no door to close. It's a half permanent glass door on the side where the water comes. Parking. So worky. You get to park on the surface lot for free until 10 pm. Then, you must move it to the garage a few steps away under the Aspire apartments $2.50 a day. So weird. Hardly an incentive just charge me $10/day for the convenience of keeping our car where we leave it without the risk of getting towed. Also upon entry for the garage the door must opens up for you to roll in no ticket nothing. Convenience and more of a white glove service is way more feasible than $2.50 a day vs schlepping around playing beat the clock.

I start off by seeing a rip in the current--I ain't no investigator but it looks domestic--next one bed at cigarette burns at first glance. Futher more the other bed had what looks like to be pubic hair and yellow stains. But I wouldn't say this is the worst. No. The worst would be the red--what appeared to be blood--stain, hanging smoke detector, and the broken light. Looking closer--because you know don't judge right away--there was makeup on the head more so this all brought me to the fact this must be a prostitute hotel. Let me tell y'all, I know money be tight but it's never this tight. If you want to keep your life and your dignity sleep at Waffle House.

The hotel is in a state of owner cost reductions that can be seen quite easily. While staff were…read morefriendly and my room was clean-"ish", those were the highlights...even though they shouldn't have been. The worst part was the bait and switch breakfast, which I'll get to. The ice makers on all floors were broken, there is a dangerous strewn mountain of aluminum siding in the parking lot, and the place is completely overgrown with chest high weeds. The bathroom ceiling had cracks and drywall chunks coming off. The tub had a residue on it like there had been something big stuck to it, all the way around...and then was removed just leaving this extensive dirty looking miscolored ring. You can see the rusted out Crown Plaza service van, surrounded by overgrown weeds, from a long ago time when this facility used to have to maintain standards for a corporate license. The clearest owner penny pinching service reduction was the "Breakfast", which can not over emphasize...was just not. On every travel site looked at for this location (including their own) it listed and showed full breakfast buffet. It's why booked it, at it's price point. They show pictures of what is now a permanently closed restaurant around their pool area (which photographed as well), with a beautiful buffet area. It would have been great if it weren't a mirage. What there is now, is a depressing converted former bar area across from the check in desk. Over a 40 foot sparsely utilized area you will find a waffle maker (the highlight of this sadness), a lukewarm (at 8am) coffee station, a fridge (probably one the removed from the rooms) mostly empty with 1 type of yogurt, a bowl of apples, and 2 bowls of either instant oatmeal packets or trial size cereals boxes. THAT'S IT. No continental breakfast (not one danish, bagel, bread, muffin, ect), no buffet that they pretend to have. Just a display that looks about as well put together and as rushed as a child's lemonade stand, and a parade of depressed and visibly upset guests coming down to find this pitiful excuse of a breakfast amenity attempt. It feels like they lost a food service license...but everything else slowly decaying around this facility just tells you...no, the owner is a greedy buck squeezer whose last thought is maintaining any customer amenities. A bottom liner, letting this facility slowly fade away as they lose corporate affiliations. Literally the last impression left with you as you get ready to checkout is this spite breakfast. You instantly feel swindled. You will have to add the cost of a breakfast elsewhere to the bottom line in your travel planning So if you are dieting, diabetic, or someone who likes to actually eat "FOOD" at breakfast time, that is not what you will receive here. Be prepared to find a restaurant somewhere else, or just book a hotel that isn't trying to book guests on penny pinching lies.
