Room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom could've been cleaner though- there was hair on the floor and all over the shower upon my arrival. Love a king bed room and didn't even have to ask for it lol. All the staff was very friendly. Was in the conference room for two days and the banquet staff was awesome. Ken was excellent! There was a young girl that was great too. Lots of seating in the lobby and plenty of parking. bar was overpriced, even for a hotel bar. A bud lite was $8 plus $1 tip, highway robbery. Bar was definitely better at the Embassy but that's it. Other than the bar prices my only complaints were that the doors were locked if you used the stairs. Like I walked down the stairs from the floor my room was on but couldn't get out into the hall? I ended up walking down to the first floor and using the exit door and walking outside. Also, no complimentary bottled water in the room. Maybe the HGIs don't do this, but most hotels of similar calibers do. Would be a nice touch. Overall enjoyed my stay and would definitely rebook for when i'm in Blue Ash/Greater Cincy again.

Restaurant is closed ... and has been mostly closed for two years. Bar is only open Monday, Friday & Saturday. Breakfast? Hampton Inn does a much better job. Essentially pre-cooked egg-like things, sausage links and potatoes, all from the freezer aisle of the grocery. Oranges; no bananas. No bagels. No English muffins. Just white bread and wheat bread. The cereal choices are all sugar-laden kids cereals. Not a single adult cereal offering. No decaf. Clean. WiFi was inop upon 6PM arrival. It started working sometime overnight.

Overall, the stay exceeded expectations. The staff was amazing, the room was clean, and the bed was beyond comfortable. So happy we chose this location. I was initially hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but I am glad I gave it a try. The first evening, we attended the manager's reception, which was nice, though it could use a little improvement. Let's throw in some cheese. Breakfast was great, especially the custom made omelet with sausage, jalapeños, onion, cheese, and spinach. They had an awesome breakfast spread overall. Really appreciated the early check in (room was ready via the app) and the late checkout. As a Diamond member, I loved the "princess parking" reserved for Hilton Honors Diamond guests but there was plenty of parking overall. Not to take away from anyone's experience, but honestly, this was a great stay so surprised at some of the reviews. If anyone needs a recommendation, we stayed in room 525. I didn't get in the pool but they have a nice pool and fitness center. Maybe next time. It's a good choice. Either dinner at the hotel or dive to a nearby restaurant but friendly staff and a great choice all around.

The complimentary ("free") breakfast buffet is solid that includes cold and hot options from omelettes, sausages, cereal, toast, waffles, and tea. I enjoyed the breakfast here on my 2nd day since I arrived in the afternoon on my first day so I missed the continental breakfast on that first day. The only issue at this hotel were the elevators did not work during my 2 day (1 night) stay so take note of that if you have alot of bags to carry. Apparently, their elevators have been out of service for a long time. I didn't mind using the stairs at all but when we arrived to check-in, after a 3.5 hour drive, we were tired and just wanted to use a working elevator. The hallways are long as this is a big hotel so be ready to walk. HOTEL ROOM -- I shared a non-smoking room with my friend that had 2 double beds. We got the tennis discounted rate of $189/night which is a very fair rate. Overall, I had a decent stay over 2 days (1 night) with a buffet-style free breakfast. I recommend this hotel if you are in town for the Cincinnati Masters tennis tournament in Mason or if you're just visiting the city in general. However, the elevators may not work. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 88/150 total reviews in 2024 - 737 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 29 September 2024

I would give this zero stars if I could!!! Please don't stay at this hotel…read more.. I have been a loyal guest/customer of Hyatt for many years for business and family travel. I had the misfortune of booking a room at the Hyatt Place Blue Ash Cincinnati, OH. People should be warned not to stay at this hotel. We had issues from the moment we pulled in the parking lot. 1. Parking lot and front area roped off for pavement painting. Not just one day but all 3 days we were there. Typically a hotel post a warning about this. 2. Had to be switched from our first room about four hours after check in because the toilet did not work. 3. The side door that is supposed to be locked for security was never locked. It was only locked after I went and complained about this being a safety issue. 4. We had to call back down stairs because of issues with the water in the shower of room number 2. I asked for a manager again at this point but as for the entire stay the "manager" was MIA. A gentleman came up and said he would check the plumbing issue and get back with us. He came back up stairs with another key card . I said we have to move again. He said no use this card to shower in your original room. So use the restroom in one room and go down the hall to shower in another. It's beyond ridiculous. 5. Other things such as missing hair dryer that it took an hour and two trips down stairs to get. Tried to call the manager from table desk phone but it was missing the phone cord. Trash was all in the grass front and back of hotel. A silver bucket of nasty green water which had been sitting there forever. Trash filled to the top in the pet area with the doggie bags. Cigarette butts littered everywhere. The desk in the room was dirty with something black and had not been cleaned well. Food in the floor on the first floor hallway exit door that had laid there. The stench of "smoking" on the fourth floor was over the top. I tried to speak to the manager at the front desk and on the app on text. I was ignored. I was told the plumbing couldn't be addressed because they had no one in maintenance there. I reached out to Hyatt by phone the day of check in. They told me to they would note this but try to work it out with the hotel manager. I then emailed Hyatt yesterday with photos and keep hearing the issue is being escalated. It's been four days and no one can address this??? So not only have Hyatt hotels gone extremely down hill but so has the "customer service". I don't want anyone else to waste hard earned money at this hotel. Had we not been crazy with a family wedding and pressed for time I would have changed hotels immediately. Not that I could have gotten any assistance with a refund to check out.

They just asked the room number, didn't ask for ID, or verify the name on the room and just handed me a key. This happened with three different staffers I hadn't seen before. Grimy, disgusting, a real SHAME on HYATT as a name. We were shocked by the state of the dirty lobby, dirtier rooms, and the disrepair everywhere. If you like air conditioners that don't work, and cleaners that don't clean worth any sense of a just an average clean, then you'll love it here. Don't forget, there's no water at breakfast, because their ice machine doesn't work, and there's no soap in the men's bathroom no matter how times you let them know. UNBELIEVABLE.

Positives: Staff were friendly and professional. Our room/suite was super spacey and clean. Love the two tone lighting in the bathroom. Loved an additional mirror and dress up space between bedroom and bath. Kitchen is very roomy. Room temp was awesome. Shower pressure was perfect. Overall property clean and well decorated. Things I wasn't a fan of: the half missing shower door. We're not in downtown NYC this is a lovely property in a suburb of Cincinnati. You walk into the shower no door to close. It's a half permanent glass door on the side where the water comes. Parking. So worky. You get to park on the surface lot for free until 10 pm. Then, you must move it to the garage a few steps away under the Aspire apartments $2.50 a day. So weird. Hardly an incentive just charge me $10/day for the convenience of keeping our car where we leave it without the risk of getting towed. Also upon entry for the garage the door must opens up for you to roll in no ticket nothing. Convenience and more of a white glove service is way more feasible than $2.50 a day vs schlepping around playing beat the clock.

It is well managed and the staff was amazing for the full week I stayed here. Every time I entered or left the hotel the front desk staff would welcomed you upon arrival and say bye when you left. The first three days had a very sweet your woman who always had a beautiful smile to greet you. It makes a difference to see someone enjoying her job and she was good at it. Wish I got her name to give her some credit. They also had a wonderful woman working the morning breakfast buffet. Another welcoming person with a smile each day. Even the cleaning staff were great. This is a well run hotel with great decisions made on hiring and training. This from a guy who is in the Quality Profession for over 25 years. My room was clean and spotless. The halls smelled new and hotel looked that way. They also have a good size pool. This would be my go to hotel in Cincy area.

The hotel is in a state of owner cost reductions that can be seen quite easily. While staff were…read morefriendly and my room was clean-"ish", those were the highlights...even though they shouldn't have been. The worst part was the bait and switch breakfast, which I'll get to. The ice makers on all floors were broken, there is a dangerous strewn mountain of aluminum siding in the parking lot, and the place is completely overgrown with chest high weeds. The bathroom ceiling had cracks and drywall chunks coming off. The tub had a residue on it like there had been something big stuck to it, all the way around...and then was removed just leaving this extensive dirty looking miscolored ring. You can see the rusted out Crown Plaza service van, surrounded by overgrown weeds, from a long ago time when this facility used to have to maintain standards for a corporate license. The clearest owner penny pinching service reduction was the "Breakfast", which can not over emphasize...was just not. On every travel site looked at for this location (including their own) it listed and showed full breakfast buffet. It's why booked it, at it's price point. They show pictures of what is now a permanently closed restaurant around their pool area (which photographed as well), with a beautiful buffet area. It would have been great if it weren't a mirage. What there is now, is a depressing converted former bar area across from the check in desk. Over a 40 foot sparsely utilized area you will find a waffle maker (the highlight of this sadness), a lukewarm (at 8am) coffee station, a fridge (probably one the removed from the rooms) mostly empty with 1 type of yogurt, a bowl of apples, and 2 bowls of either instant oatmeal packets or trial size cereals boxes. THAT'S IT. No continental breakfast (not one danish, bagel, bread, muffin, ect), no buffet that they pretend to have. Just a display that looks about as well put together and as rushed as a child's lemonade stand, and a parade of depressed and visibly upset guests coming down to find this pitiful excuse of a breakfast amenity attempt. It feels like they lost a food service license...but everything else slowly decaying around this facility just tells you...no, the owner is a greedy buck squeezer whose last thought is maintaining any customer amenities. A bottom liner, letting this facility slowly fade away as they lose corporate affiliations. Literally the last impression left with you as you get ready to checkout is this spite breakfast. You instantly feel swindled. You will have to add the cost of a breakfast elsewhere to the bottom line in your travel planning So if you are dieting, diabetic, or someone who likes to actually eat "FOOD" at breakfast time, that is not what you will receive here. Be prepared to find a restaurant somewhere else, or just book a hotel that isn't trying to book guests on penny pinching lies.
