It is not huge, but somehow I almost always find the perfect thing, whether it is a hostess gift, a small thoughtful present, or just something I decide I need for myself. Their gift selection feels really unique and not like the usual stuff you see everywhere else. They also have really nice greeting cards at super reasonable prices, usually about half of what you would pay at the pharmacy, and they feel so much more personal than those generic cards. It is one of those places that just feels special when you walk in, and I pretty much always leave with something I love.

Tom, at Vanwingerden, agreed to take my seeds and germinate them. He sent me pictures of the plants germinated in April and told me I could pick them up in "a month or so". Some didn't come up and I told him not to worry about those ones. The deal was I would buy the starts back. I called before mother's day to pick up the starts with no response. I called after mother's day only to discover Tom gave away ALL the plants to one of his employees. Not only did he give this employee the plants, he gave her ALL my seeds as well and then tells me he doesn't want to bug her to ask for anything back because of a loss in her family. Why would I bring seeds in and give them to their office if I didn't want the plants? Why would he get my hopes up by sending me a picture of the plants? What would ever make him think it was ok to give away my heirloom seeds? I blindly trusted and shouldn't have. The whole thing makes no sense at all and I feel totally robbed.

I signed up for their newsletter and received a coupon for free delivery. We placed our order last night and were given a one hour window for delivery. Our driver arrived right on time. The truck is huge and our driveway somewhat narrow but he carefully backed down the spot we wanted the gravel. Then he pulled forward to put the rest of the gravel near the street (as that area has worn thin despite raking). Very reasonable price, free delivery and excellent customer service/friendly and polite driver. We will definitely be calling them again soon! They used to be amazing and hold up so well with repeated washings etc. I just ordered some new sheets in a different color than I had previously and they stained after the first wash. I am using the same water dispersible product that I always have. I contacted the company and they made up some excuse about the product I was using making the warranty void. They changed their website since I had made the complaint. It used to say not to use jojoba or grapeseed oil... now it says to contact them. So shady!!!! Regardless I feel like they should back up their product... esp to a client that has been buying from them for over 15 years. I used to recommend them to all of my clients for their own bedding. No more!!

Their prices were competitive and their scheduling fit well with our plans. As a part of this project, they cleared out a wooded area behind our home and removed items left by some vagrants. Then they revitalized our garden areas by removing some old, tired junipers, and golden cypress. They planted new trees, added a rock border in front of the house and paved the apron next to the house. Everything looks fantastic! We will definitely be using them again in the near future. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for high quality work.
