It is not huge, but somehow I almost always find the perfect thing, whether it is a hostess gift, a small thoughtful present, or just something I decide I need for myself. Their gift selection feels really unique and not like the usual stuff you see everywhere else. They also have really nice greeting cards at super reasonable prices, usually about half of what you would pay at the pharmacy, and they feel so much more personal than those generic cards. It is one of those places that just feels special when you walk in, and I pretty much always leave with something I love.

Tom, at Vanwingerden, agreed to take my seeds and germinate them. He sent me pictures of the plants germinated in April and told me I could pick them up in "a month or so". Some didn't come up and I told him not to worry about those ones. The deal was I would buy the starts back. I called before mother's day to pick up the starts with no response. I called after mother's day only to discover Tom gave away ALL the plants to one of his employees. Not only did he give this employee the plants, he gave her ALL my seeds as well and then tells me he doesn't want to bug her to ask for anything back because of a loss in her family. Why would I bring seeds in and give them to their office if I didn't want the plants? Why would he get my hopes up by sending me a picture of the plants? What would ever make him think it was ok to give away my heirloom seeds? I blindly trusted and shouldn't have. The whole thing makes no sense at all and I feel totally robbed.

I signed up for their newsletter and received a coupon for free delivery. We placed our order last night and were given a one hour window for delivery. Our driver arrived right on time. The truck is huge and our driveway somewhat narrow but he carefully backed down the spot we wanted the gravel. Then he pulled forward to put the rest of the gravel near the street (as that area has worn thin despite raking). Very reasonable price, free delivery and excellent customer service/friendly and polite driver. We will definitely be calling them again soon! I'll try to make a long story short, but a few summers ago I stayed at a bed and breakfast in Anchorage (side shout out to the Alaska House of Jade Bed and Breakfast --- https://www.yelp.com/biz/alaska-house-of-jade-anchorage. Better than any hotel if you happen to be in the area!), and slept on the most comfortable bed I could ever remember. I mean truly spectacular sleeping experience. So much so that weeks later I got in touch with Krista (the owner of the B&B) to inquire about the mattress. Krista informed me that she did purchase a high quality mattress, but it was her belief that the mattress topper from Comphy was the reason it was so memorable. At the time I checked the Comphy website, was unable to find the item, and basically forgot about trying to track it down. Yesterday, over a year and a half later, it dawned on me that I still wanted that mattress topper. I went on the Comphy Co Facebook page, followed the prompt to send a message to contact the company, and started passing notes with Ryan. Ryan went above and beyond to see if the mattress topper could be obtained for me, despite it not currently being in stock on the website. The next morning I woke up to a message from Kelly that they were able to make the order happen for me! I'm really excited for my shipment to arrive. And I'm very grateful to Comphy, Ryan, and Kelly for making the long shot come through!

I have bought Comfy Co sheets from the moment they came out almost 20 years ago and have loved…read morethem. So much so that, in a short span of about 5 years, I purchased over 20 sets of sheets, given them as gifts, and have at least two sets for every bed. They were great. (and yes were even great when they were in Costco) When Comphy co. merged with Coop Sleep Goods around 2022/2023, that's when it all went downhill. The fabric is nowhere near as soft or durable. They stretch out of shape; the elastic on the fitted sheets are big and baggy, the stitching is terrible, but most importantly, THEY ARE NO LONGER SOFT. They DO NOT get softer with every wash, only old and rough. I'm so disappointed. I don't know if the new company is trying to save money, cutting back and going cheap, or if they are not sourcing the same fabric; whatever it is, they have lost a 20-year customer. So disappointed.
