I had a wonderful experience with the customer service team at Comphy Co, particularly Ryan in marketing and Kelly in customer service. I'll try to make a long story short, but a few summers ago I stayed at a bed and breakfast in Anchorage (side shout out to the Alaska House of Jade Bed and Breakfast --- https://www.yelp.com/biz/alaska-house-of-jade-anchorage. Better than any hotel if you happen to be in the area!), and slept on the most comfortable bed I could ever remember. I mean truly spectacular sleeping experience. So much so that weeks later I got in touch with Krista (the owner of the B&B) to inquire about the mattress. Krista informed me that she did purchase a high quality mattress, but it was her belief that the mattress topper from Comphy was the reason it was so memorable. At the time I checked the Comphy website, was unable to find the item, and basically forgot about trying to track it down. Yesterday, over a year and a half later, it dawned on me that I still wanted that mattress topper. I went on the Comphy Co Facebook page, followed the prompt to send a message to contact the company, and started passing notes with Ryan. Ryan went above and beyond to see if the mattress topper could be obtained for me, despite it not currently being in stock on the website. The next morning I woke up to a message from Kelly that they were able to make the order happen for me! I'm really excited for my shipment to arrive. I have bought Comfy Co sheets from the moment they came out almost 20 years ago and have loved them. So much so that, in a short span of about 5 years, I purchased over 20 sets of sheets, given them as gifts, and have at least two sets for every bed. They were great. (and yes were even great when they were in Costco) When Comphy co. merged with Coop Sleep Goods around 2022/2023, that's when it all went downhill. The fabric is nowhere near as soft or durable. They stretch out of shape; the elastic on the fitted sheets are big and baggy, the stitching is terrible, but most importantly, THEY ARE NO LONGER SOFT. They DO NOT get softer with every wash, only old and rough. I'm so disappointed. I don't know if the new company is trying to save money, cutting back and going cheap, or if they are not sourcing the same fabric; whatever it is, they have lost a 20-year customer. I have been using comphy sheets for my massage practice for over 15 years because they wash well, are soft and are so stain resistant. They used to be amazing and hold up so well with repeated washings etc. I just ordered some new sheets in a different color than I had previously and they stained after the first wash. I am using the same water dispersible product that I always have. I contacted the company and they made up some excuse about the product I was using making the warranty void. They changed their website since I had made the complaint. It used to say not to use jojoba or grapeseed oil... now it says to contact them. So shady!!!! Regardless I feel like they should back up their product... esp to a client that has been buying from them for over 15 years. I used to recommend them to all of my clients for their own bedding. I had never slept on softer or smoother sheets until I encountered Comphy sheets at a hotel.They were noticeably smoother and softer than any others I've experienced (except Frette at four times the price). The Comphys felt absolutely wonderful. . . BUT I was staying in a New England hotel, in a cold room. In the hot climate where I usually live, unless I had the A/C on full-blast, the Comfhys might be too hot. 100% cotton, which breathes, is better for a hot climate. Also, artficial intel says that Comphy's microfiber material is flammable. So, regretfully, I am going to pass on these wondeful-feeling sheets, despite a super level of comfort from them. read more

Upon arrival, they weren't what I was expecting (I prefer the coolness & softness that my Nordstrom 400 thread count cotton sheets have) so I decided to return. Their return policy is awful & that's what this review is truly about. They first charged $30+ for a shipping fee to get the sheets & then I'm responsible for the return fee as well in addition to a 10% restocking fee: the return shipping charge via UPS ground was $43. I am fan of their sheets only - good workmanship and fabric quality, but i don't like Comphy's customer service. Dissatisfied with the quality of their comforter/blanket, i tried making an exchange but it was more effort than it was worth. I have now used comphy sheets for over 12 years in my body work practice. Each sheet and face cradle cover get washed 3 to 5 times each week. They still look and feel like they are brand new. I cannot give enough praise to the value they are, and to the great reviews my clients give them. I have had several clients purchased the sheets for their home because they love them so much. Before I purchased comfy sheets, I used flannel. Flannel is nice when we start out, but after many washings, it gets rough and thin. These are still perfect. Great quality products, but terrible warranty for professionals. They exclude ALL possible massage products so that they don't have to actually provide any warranty. Their warranty is generically used to give "value" to their products. I first tried theses sheet in a spa on Kiawah Island when I had a massage several years ago. I immediately fell in love with the feel. I talked to the massage therapist about their quality and she praised them. I was also shocked at their affordability. I had to order them through the spa because at that time they did not have a website. I ended up getting sheet sets for all of my beds and for all of my children's homes. No one has had the piling issues, I'm aggravated by the largeness of the fitted sheets. They are way too big on EVERY BED OF EVERY SIZE! I'm constantly adjusting the bottom sheet to straighten out the annoying wrinkles. If only they had a better fit! I have been dealing with this issue for years and I'm finally done. The sheets are super soft and pretty. But.... they are unbelievably huge. I have a standard king memory foam mattress. The fitted sheet is so big and loose making it not so "Comphy." The flat sheet nearly hangs to the floor on the sides of the bed. I contacted Comphy thinking they may have accidentally sent me California king sheets. Nope. I was told that the king set is made to fit mattresses of ALL depths. Obviously not the case as it is way too big for my standard mattress. They suggested I purchase sheet straps to remedy the issue. I just spent over $150 on sheets and now I need an accessory for them to fit properly? Thanks, but no thanks. I would return them if I could. Oh, and they are NOT wrinkle free. read more

What a terrible company! Very dishonest website. I purchased sheets online and when they arrived, there was a note on top of the sheets stating they needed to be washed with a programmable washer which most homeowners do not have! Nowhere does this information appear on their website. Next, I went to return the sheets only to learn that Comphy must "authorize" each return! There is no free return shipping, PLUS they charge a 10% restock fee! Despite the fact I had no way to wash them which was NOT disclosed on website! Lastly, I returned the sheets by Fedex Ground. Comphy claims they did not receive the sheets and FEDEX said they had delivered two other packages to that address for Comphy and it worked. Neither FEDEX nor Comphy would budge so I'm out $188 dollars. Lesson: Don't buy from Comphy. Try Boll and Branch instead! Don't use Fedex Ground. read more

Beware that sheets are not returnable if you have washed them- only washed them, not used them. I washed and dried them twice exactly following their directions and the amount of lint that came off was astounding, both times. I had to vacuum my dryer and the entire downstairs of my house. The lint got into our lungs, sinuses and throat and eyes. Really, I have never experienced anything like it in my entire life. When I made a complaint, the responder implied that I may have washed the sheets with towels, indicated by the use of caps and repetition of the word never, which I did not do, again I washed them exactly to their instructions. I ordered a duvet cover and the design of the cover is horrible. It has an envelope style "closure" that is placed where your feet get caught in it while sleeping. If you turn it around and have the opening at the top of the bed, then your arms get caught in it. What on Earth was Comphy thinking. The placement and the style of the opening make the duvet unusable. This is the worst duvet I've ever purchased...and on top of it, you can't return it. read more

Quite expensive though It is almost impossible to insert the duvet into the cover The opening is too small , the design is beyond unpractical, plain stupid Called Customer service for a full refund They refused and wanted to charge a 10% restocking fee . I manage a few luxury vacation rental homes. I ordered these sheets, pillowcases, quilted blankets and everything they sell for spa tables and love them. The homes I manage are luxury, 5k+ per night, I have celebrities rent the homes and contact me after asking where they can buy the sheets from. No piling if you follow the washing instructions, don't mix with other items sheets should be washed only with sheets and pillowcases or they will pile like any other sheet. I ordered these sheets through a B&B instead of ComphySheets directly because I was told by the people who recommended them that I could save on shipping costs. When I finally received them, I was immediately taken aback by the size of the fitted sheet. We have a king-sized Tempur-Pedic mattress with no pillow top padding. The fitted sheet moves when we sleep because it is too large for our bed. I was also bummed - but take responsibility for - not realizing that the sheets come with King-sized pillow cases. We have special standard pillows, so obviously, the cases don't fit. The ill-fitting fitted sheet, however, is ridiculous. I contacted ComphySheets directly, since, you know, they manufactured the sheets. After several days, they put me in contact with the B&B because it's a ComphySheets distributor. That makes no sense. The nice lady who owns the B&B didn't make the sheets, but Comphy was going to make her do their dirty work, I guess. In the end, they told her to tell me that I should have read the specifications of he sheets on their website. I'll own up to the stupid pillow cases, but who measures for fitted sheets?!?! I've NEVER had this issue before, so why in the world would I measure to see if a fitted King sheet fits my king mattress?!?!? I mistakenly made the assumption that because these sheets are ultra expensive, they'd work out perfectly and be as nice as so many have said before. Lack of warrantee integrity - I am reporting to BBB and suggest others to do the same - hopefully this practice will be stopped if enuf people complain! Worst customer service ever! They have tons of excuses, but are condescending and downright rude. I have bought their sheets before and bought a second set based on the color "dove grey". My whole bedroom is shades of grey and these have an awful green undertone. When I called and wanted to exchange for "grey", they said that I had to pay for shipping both back to them and then again for the new product. I never even opened them. I believe that the color description is so far off (and I see others have complained about this too) that they could have at least paid shipping for the new product. I use the word smells because they hang onto clients personal care products and perfume as well as body odors. Sheets from this company are super soft. I am just a regular customer and order online. I am happy about the deepness because my mattress is thick and other sheets pop right off. I have two different colored sets and both are awesome. I just rotate them every now and then. I have had them for over a year and still they are like new. The comforter is light weight and especially good for summer. I am usually a hot sleeper but on extra cold nights I just double up with another blanket. The items had a lot of lint the first couple times you wash but I just followed the washing instructions before using them. I also bought one of their super soft blankets recently for my living room couch and it is really warm and nice for watching tv. read more

Flawed product and bad customer service. I slept on these sheets on a twin bed at my friends house and they were great. I got a set for my queen bed and the fabric is comfortable and they seem to be well made, BUT they are larger than any other queen set I have owned. The big issue is the fitted sheet. It is the same length, but 3" wider than my other queen sheets. It doesn't sound like much, but it is enough to make them loose and wrinkled up under you which is not comfortable. Customer service said they fall with in their size range and that they would not refund me because they had been used. They said that lots of people have good results with attaching straps to the sheets to tighten them which made it sound like this is a common issue. This product is far too expensive to have to jerryrig in an effort to make it more comfortable. Save your money, or get 2 sets of nice sheets that actually fit your mattress instead. read more

The Comphy sheets do feel very luxurious, but they have two drawbacks that would prevent me from ordering them again. First, they are too big. We have a queen bed, and the bottom sheet seems designed for a king. It's very hard to tuck in, and it wrinkles overnight. Second, they have to be dried in a dryer. We love the smell of line-dried sheets. Bottom line: for us, microfiber, no matter how soft, can't compete with high-quality cotton. But how do you know which cotton sheets are really high-quality? I called and was told to tuck the material tighter, which didn't work. I called again and found out they just released a 14 inch king sheet set to address this common complaint.
