Having little toddlers mean I cant really find a place to go and have a nice meal and I've never had a problem with El Sabio because we can just go sit outside and he can play while i eat. and inside and outside is really nicely decorated, the service has always been friendly and the food has been great. I believe they do offer some sort of lunch deals as well.

The restaurant is vibrantly decorated, take a moment to look at all the photos in the frames on the wall as there are some lovely pictures. The menu is only a page long, but the saying 'it's quality, not quantity, that counts' certainly rings true for this place. Lolita kept reiterating that the food was home made (unlike many of the other local places nearby apparently) and she carefully guided us through the menu making suggestions as she went. We ordered 5 tapas dishes and each one was delicious, especially the MASSIVE langousites in lemon and oil (which were only £6 for 5!). AND, the house red wine was the best house red I've ever had. The couple who run it were charming and friendly, with just the right amount of attention you want during dinner. At the time of visiting, they were only accepting cash, but they said they were looking into possibly taking cards sometime soon. There's a cash machine nearby if you get caught short. This place has only been open for 8 months, but if our experience was anything to go by it's a very promising beginning and I wish them the best of luck, I know I'd go back if I'm ever in Bournemouth again!

The restaurant decor is brilliant, and as you walk in, feel like you are transported to a tiny Spanish backstreet!! We ate an appetizer of pickled anchovies, which were delicious, and shared about 10 tapas dishes, the best of which were chicken and chorizo braised with rosemary, and prawn stuffed jalapeño pepper in batter, although all the tapas were beautiful. Nevertheless Lorraine and Serafin cook up a wide variety of tapas dishes from the familiar chorizos and paella to the less familiar - usually whatever appears on the specials board! Complemented by a variety of interesting beverages that includes imported Spanish cider (and the Pedro Ximenes won't have run out next time). Not cheap dining but super quality and interesting food. The place is very small, so either book ahead or go at a quiet time - say the middle of the afternoon! (Hopefully the Qype category will have changed from Italian by the time you read this)

Damien, set us up to succeed with welcoming words and encouraging advice. Wrap your head around Shrimp Paella with the perfect "Socarrat" or Smoked Oxtail, delicate in flavor and texture. I cannot explain the homemade Cavier, for a chemistry degree is required, but delicious comes to mind. The devotion to cooking well is without comparison for me. Moma deserves many accolades, but I hope he is happy without Michelin recognizing his food....for I fear I may never get in again.
