I love the atmosphere here, and every dish I've had has been fantastic! But as many of the reviews mention, service isn't that great. When you finally get a server they don't come around much. And the first two times I went there about 9 months ago, many charges were added to our bill that we didn't order so that was very suspicious, I haven't seen that waitress since though. But overall I highly recommend. The calamari sticks, sausages, potatoes, grilled veggies, pretzel, and escargot are among the favorites! read more

I stopped by Tap Beer Miami to watch the USA vs. Australia FIFA World Cup match, and I have to say the atmosphere was great. The place was nicely decorated for the tournament, and it definitely felt like a fun spot to catch a game with fellow soccer fans. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. The host seated me and then never came back. It wasn't even busy, yet I eventually had to walk up to the bar myself just to ask for service. They did offer me a complimentary welcome beer, which I assume was meant to make up for the lack of attention, but by that point I was already pretty unimpressed. As for the food, the wings were a letdown. They tasted like they had been microwaved rather than freshly prepared, and honestly, I've had much better wings at Wingstop. The celery and carrot sticks that came with them were also flimsy, thin strips that didn't add much to the plate. Overall, Tap Beer Miami has a great setup for watching sports and the World Cup décor helped create a fun game-day atmosphere, but the service and food quality didn't live up to expectations. It has potential, but there are definitely areas that need improvement. read more

Tap Beer is such a cool spot, and Tuesdays make it even better. The vibe is relaxed, the music and lighting give it a fun atmosphere, and the service is always friendly. The best part? Tuesday nights are 50% off beer when you pay cash easily one of the best deals around. Great drinks, good energy, and a place that keeps you coming back. read more

How does this place only have 3 stars? I LOVEDDDDDDDD this place so much!!! Came here with the husband and I'm already planning my return. Great selection of beers!!! And the food was good too! Location was wonderful as well. Looks legit like a beer garden in Germany. So much space too!!! We had a few Belgium beers and a German beer. We got one free bc we signed up to the newsletter. Also the food was great and priced really well. Service was so great - our waitress was so nice. I will be coming back here many more times!!! read more

I'm a BBD no silly Bougie Beer Drinker! I called ahead of time, because I couldn't see the beer menu, and I didn't want to waste our time. I asked if they had a triple or a quad. He said they had a triple, and something else. Ok cool. We get there, and I'm sorry, I can't remember the bartenders name, it started with a "S" I went straight to the bar and ordered the triple, he said, oh you called not long ago, I said yes. Then Jesus came to the bar, he's the waiter, and we were talking about the beer. They said, oh if you like that, you might like this, they poured me a sample, and I loved it. The Jesus said, so we have another one, it wasn't meant to be want it turned out to be, but it turned out great. That one was my favorite one. So, the vibe we loved it as soon as we stepped in the bar, they were super friendly. I said, I want 1 of each, lol (Don't judge me) Not all at once, they were so good. I also got the chicken skewer, it came on Lavish bread, with some veggies. Quite expensive for that, maybe they could add some fries to it. It was $22.00 If I'm in the area, this would be my go-to spot for sure. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The space is super cool, with indoor, patio, and outdoor areas. Cool vibe and fun decor. The beer selection is good, and our waitress invited me to try two so I could pick one I liked. Unfortunately the food situation was terrible. I ordered a pretzel and it came out obviously overcooked (not sure how the chef or waitress ever let it get to the table). I gave it the old college try, but only about two bites of it were even soft enough to eat. The rest was hard as a rock. Unfortunately our waitress also disappeared at that point so could never explain the situation. When she did reappear with the bill, I told her why I still had a full plate, but she just charged my card without any apology or explanation. Overall, $34 for a beer and two bites of pretzel will ensure I won't be coming back. read more

Love this place! They have super delicious food, we have been here for several times, and tried different things on the menu, everything was delicious! They have outdoor seating, and backyard patio, it's a great place to hang out. Many options for beer and wine as well, frozen beer glass always a nice touch read more

Place is cute. Staff is not friendly or helpful. Food is not so great. We've gone twice same experience both times.

We were supposed to be in the coffee shop next to it. But when I saw the sign, "Tap Beer"....change of the plan! They have so many different kinds of beer and the guy behind the counter lets you try to decide which one you want. It was a difficult decision to make. Lol At last, I decided to take Strawberry champagne beer. So yummy! It's a very relaxing atmosphere and next time I want to try their food too. read more

I love the environment, differs drinks, and food. Been coming here for years now and it's always been welcoming and a good time! Highly recommend read more

The venue is quite large. We went on a night that was not too busy. There is plenty of seating that is covered as well as more open air spots. They do have live music and there is a cover for it. I read a few reviews beforehand warning about the cover. So, it was expected when I received the bill. But, the establishment should really post that there is a cover somewhere. I can understand someone getting upset because of the lack of notice. So, word to the wise. We ordered a couple of nice German brews. They have a ton of taps and they fill the beer in plastic bottles and serve it at your table. Different. Interesting. They also have wine and cocktails for your non beer drinking friends and family. We ordered the pretzel to start which I thought was a little plain. It did come with some dipping mustard though. I had the chicken kebab which was pretty good and my wife ordered the pork kebab which was definitely better. The vibe of the place is pretty cool. We did enjoy the band that nice. They played mostly classic rock which ignited some old memories. Service could have been a bit better. It seems that the waitstaff are either too preoccupied or are challenged when attempting to multitask. All-in-all we had a nice time. read more

My husband and I are regulars at Tap Beer, and it's become our go-to spot in North Miami Beach. The selection of exclusive German beers combined with a full bar keeps us coming back week after week. Our favorite treat is the signature burger made with rib eye - it's simply irresistible. What sets Tap Beer apart is not just the fantastic food and drink, but also the incredibly friendly staff who are always willing to share their beer knowledge and make our experience even more enjoyable. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this gem! read more

THIEVES! AVOID THIS PLACE I went with two friends to have a beer, stayed for only 30 minutes, and we did NOT leave a tip because the service didn't even deserve one. To my surprise, when I checked my bank statement, I saw that they stole $10 by adding a tip WITHOUT my authorization. This is outright THEFT and completely unethical. If they did this to me, they'll do it to anyone. Do not trust this place, check your bank statements because they clearly like to scam their customers. Stay away from this place. There are plenty of other bars and restaurants that respect their customers and don't steal their money. DO NOT GIVE THESE SCAMMERS YOUR BUSINESS! read more

Great place!! Didn't even know it existed and it's such a vibe! Huge space with great outdoor seating. You almost forget it's on Dixie hwy by the tracks. Food was good and beer too. I took off one star for service. There was only one person working it seemed and we had a big party. Hard to get someone for refills and to order but other than that, great experience read more

Three fraudulent charges on our bill: gratuity (not mentioned on menu as required by law), 'entertainment', and some random $15 charge they tried to just sneak onto our bill. The terribly slow service doesn't justify a 1% tip let alone an 18% one. We had to order our own drinks from the bar multiple times. read more

Super cute beer garden style pub. The laidback atmosphere and huge selection of imported beer are perfect for watching fútbol or just enjoying with friends. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and definitely made me feel welcome. This place can get busy during game nights but come early and you'll be sure to have a good time. read more

Leaving a two-star review for this beer restaurant. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food and the prices. The crawfish were not tasty at all, and the beer was served in two-liter plastic bottles, which is not what you'd expect from a place like this. The bill for two families was about nine hundred dollars--prices are outrageous for the quality offered. Neither the food nor the service met our expectations, and the value for money is definitely lacking. read more

I absolutely love the energy of this place! For a little brunch option it was rather empty however, servers were polite and attentive. I came with my mother for a quick brunch option and it blew my socks off. My mom recommended to come here and I am impressed at the quality of the food. They had a lot of beer selections and it caters to quite a selection of liquor preferences. The food was amazing and came out rather quickly. Overall a great price point considering the area. Would recommend to anyone in the area. read more

The venue is great, you can sit outdoors and it's really pretty. A good spot to watch a game. However a cheap beer is around $11 for 16oz served out of a plastic bottle. To be fair a cool glass is provided. But the price is too high. Happy Hour Does only apply to other drinks and not beer. read more

Was really excited to check out the spot, the setup is nice and maybe it's when we came but they didn't have any of the 3 beers I asked for same for food, ended up just picking a random. It also came out in a plastic bottle which was odd, so not fresh draught? Got some appetizers and tasted like it was just microwaved. I don't know if I'll be back. read more

Ambience is great. Lots of fun to go and watch a sports game, drink beer, and play some games with friends. If you're looking for decent food, I'm not sure this place is it. The service is also extremely lacking. Biggest pet peeve - went on a Saturday night and sat outside with TVs. Asked them for turn the channel to lakers / golden state playoff game and got a refusal - since boxing match was on. No live band and still got charged 15% (with no knowledge) for an "entertainment" fee. Just For the boxing being on. So this is a heads up for anyone going that this might be a charge you should see coming. read more

In a perfect world, this place would be a wonderful "local" alternative to nearby Tap 42 and Yardhouse. After all, it has the components those places lack: a beautiful setting, live music on some nights, and an expansive selection of beers that you won't find elsewhere. However, where Tap falters is price and service. Service is pedestrian at best and the prices for food and drink are out of line compared to the quality and quantity of product you're receiving. I know it's Aventura so I should expect somewhat higher prices than other South Florida spots, but the prices here exceed Aventura levels and enter Manhattan- and Bay Area-like territory. Worse, depending on the night you go, your receipt may end up looking like your cell phone bill, thanks to all the random fees that appear without warning. I don't want to get down on this place so I'll just leave it at that. This is the type of place where you have a beer and catch a bit of a game before continuing with the rest of your evening elsewhere. On another note, it's extremely wasteful that Tap serves draft beer in disposable plastic bottles. I really hope those service bottles get recycled after use, especially considering that Tap directly borders one of the Miami area's largest, most beautiful parks. read more

Nice place, great layout. Authentic Russian staff. A little bit chaotic but that gives the place character. It's fun.

This place has so much potential but turned out to be horrible. Went there for world baseball classic semis and finals. They just completely refused to change the channel to the games on both days. I asked the bartender, he said he couldn't pour beer and change the channel at the same time. The next day they had me wait past game start time after getting there early and angry, just left. I shouldn't have even paid the tab. read more

Location is great, but service is trash. Waited over 5 minutes to even be acknowledged when trying to find a place to sit. Once we were seated it took another 15 minutes for us to be able to put a drink order in and another 20 to put a food order in. We were there for the champions league final and by the 80th minute we had to ask for our food because it still hadn't come out. To top it off they charged an entertainment fee of $19 for watching a game that was being broadcasted on local cable. Honestly was extremely let down and do not recommend this place. read more

Delicious tap beer and super cool location. Friendly staff. Right next to a park so shady and green.

Few issues with this place. The ambience, vibe and beer were great, food was not. Ribs were overcooked and lacked taste. The more concerning issues with this place are that we went on a Friday night when they had a live band playing so they tack on 15% to your bill without telling you upfront. We enjoyed the band but I would like to know upfront what I'm going to be charged and not surprised at the end. The real kicker was being charged double what the menu states for the beers we ordered. The menu clearly states $x.xx for a 32 oz beer; however, the server told us it was a misprint - should have been 16 oz- that the owner did not want to fix due to the cost of reprinting the menus! I will not be going back to this establishment as it is poorly managed. read more

Amazing place for cold beer!!! Live entertainment for Friday nights. Open late on the weekends

The location and ambiance is great. They have many TV's so games are easily accessible from any point. We came for the Champions League Final game because these people pride themselves on being soccer fans with Club emblems everywhere. We had a reservation and there was no host at the door. We literally stood next to the server while she rung up an order and she completely ignored us. She finally looked up at us and she told us we could sit anywhere inside because outside was full but again...we had a reservation which we mentioned. We were seated at a table held for us and forgotten about for 15 minutes. There was a large table next to us and they completely focused on them the entire time. At the 80th minute we finally managed to flag someone down and not only asked about our food but also the check because we were done at that point. They charged us a 15% credit card/ entertainment fee for a game broadcasted on a local channel. Do not come here unless you are a large party if you even want to be acknowledged. read more
