It was time to replenish the tequila. We happened to be in the neighborhood for other shopping when we saw TW&M. We did a u-turn immediately, lol. Our favorite tequila brand is Casamigos. We figured we would find it at TW&M. It is a huge store stocked with all the popular brands. We found what we needed. The staff were helpful and friendly. Parking is conveniently in front of the store, along with wheelchair accessiblability spaces.

When I go there to refill my mini bar, I hope to see Marie, very beautiful young lady, who went out of her way to bring me a beverage. I wish the older gentleman and you kid can follow her work ethic and customer service.

Total Wine should be your one stop shop for all things spirits, most especially in the wine department. A very wide variety of wines that gives clear and concise labeling of the origin, flavors, ratings and price point. A good thing to have handy when you're shopping for something new and want the best in rating and price. They regularly would have sampling stations of different beers, wines and liquors and if you sign up for their reward program you will receive email coupons. I also enjoy their craft beer selections where you can grab a 6 pack carton and fill it to your liking. On the plus side, if you're heading to a house warming or party and don't want to go empty-handed, you will be the star of the show if you show up with any of Total Wine's gift packages, accessories, snacks and bags. If you're in doubt, take a wine or stout!

If I lived any closer to Twine, I'd be a dead man. The surgeons entrusted with removing my internal organs for donation would toss my useless esophageal tract, kidneys, and liver directly into the bio-hazard bin. Here's why -- Wine Tastings - every Friday and Saturday from 12-6pm and Sunday from 1-5pm. The manager chooses a variety (usually 6) and the staff is pretty liberal with the amount they allow you to "taste". Best part...wait for it..wait...it's FREE! eer..sorry I almost forgot I was describing a wine store...it's complimentary! Now I don't know about you, but wine is my arch-nemesis. It's Duckhorn Vineyards Merlot, that forced me to throw up all over Lucky (now Unlucky) Dave's drum kit after a concert. It's Conundrum California White Wine, that's made me swan dive off the Port Blvd Bridge and swim to Bicentennial Park for Lollapalooza. It's Chateau Ste. Michelle Red Zinfandel, that's responsible for making me accidentally kick "Ephen Stephen' (sorry that wasn't meant for you buddy) in the stomach, while he was already engaged in an unplanned UFC bout with his date's jealous ex. So if you are like me, steer clear of the #1 reason for ladies to make 'mistakes' on the first date..wine. Just like a supermarket, the important stuff is not in the aisles. Hard booze and beer hugs the walls and there's plenty of it. Man oh man when I get to the beer section, my pants get real tight. There are cases, kegs and refrigerated beer, not to mention the craft beers that you can mix and match. So just to recap... If you're reading Beowulf and want to buy a case of B. Nektar Dry Honeywine to transform your living room into a Viking Mead Hall -- Total Wine! If you want to play an "Eastern Promises" themed drinking game with your comrades (I don't recommend this as it requires multiple shots of Russian Standard Platinum vodka and Ararat Armenian brandy. Plus some Moët & Chandon Nectar Impérial champagne chugging in only 96 minutes) -- Total Wine! If you're watching the Basque Country episode of "Dhani Tackles the Globe" and you want to know what the national drink, Txakoli sparkling wine is about -- You get the point. The only depressing thing about the Wal-Mart of wine is that they're few and far between. Oh and the sales rep Scott that tried to get me kicked out of the store for parking my car in preggo parking (do expecting mothers usually buy booze at 9am on weekdays)? In the end I let my old friend Benjamin Franklin mediate the situation at the cash register. Rowdy Rony Piper-1, Charlie the Sales Rep-0

The wine and spirit selection is always on point. I Can spend hours just looking at all the different bottles, cigars, beer and learning about wine making etc... Pros: During the Holiday season they have great gift sets and overall the prices are very competitive. Cons: can't think of any... love this place

Total Wine and More is an amusement park for my liver. My liver gets excited each time it hears I'm gonna make a trip to total wine. It takes a shower, puts on it's Sunday's best and dons a smile on the drive up. A bounty of hepatotoxic libations tease you at every aisle. While I am not so into the spirits, there is a long corridor in which you can feast your boozehound eyeballs on. I mostly bypass this section as indulging in such can only lead to misadventures , as I will always bite off more than I can chew. The wine selection is plentiful and arranged by region. When I say plentiful, I mean like a shit -ton. Some wines have little cards describing the flavour as well as best sellers #1-3 and employee picks. I typically go wth Peggy's choice as she looks like she knows how to drink her some jesus juice. The champagne section is quite abundant and a little fancy pants for me. But when I wanna get fancy, I put on my pearl necklace and strut for the bubbly. That's right, a pearl necklace will almost always be in affiliation with a good bottle of the bubs. My favorite section, by far, is the beer selection located in the last two aisles. I have purchased many a bottle of The Bruery's,and Dogfish Head's, concoctions which have led to many interesting North Miami nights. Sometimes unrecollectable but interesting nonetheless. Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker. Liquor where you like it at Total Wine and More.

A small selection of craft beer from their enormous stock.

Yes, I was with guests waiting to have some wine, and the delivery person said we were not home, well we live in a building.

Went to Flanigans last night. Didn't have a reservation and was told a 30min wait. Asked if bar…read morewas open to hang out? Told yes give us your number and we'll text you. Long story short....59mi. Later I walk back to host desk and ask what the deal was? Told they sent me a text 29 min ago. I pull out my phone, show text messages, no text . I tell them I ordered already at the bar. They apologize and say we can seat you do you want that I say yes. Get a table next to bar. Food finally comes(Texas Burger). It's dropped off and I never see a server again. Burger was good fries were stale. My table ketchup was totally empty btw, had to get one myself. Have to find server for my bill so I can pay it and when it comes it's$102.00! (Correct amount should have been $24& change) I ordered one drink and a burger. Bar lady says, " all I did was transfer the table to your tab." (Apparently, someone walked out w/o paying? ) She's says she needs to go talk to the manager(Curtis). Nearly 10min go by and "Curtis" comes to my table. He tells me he reversed the charges and it's back on my card and I'm only being charged for the correct amount. I say, Listen, I'm not really happy right now. First, I'm told a 30min wait. 59min later no table. He says, "that's not true they should have said that they lied." You should have been seated. Then i tell him how disappointed I was with the service. He said, " I understand your frustration give us another try." That's it! I leave and go to my room 3 blocks away. I'm at my room and am so bothered by the encounter and his lack of customer service that I literally change into running shorts and run back there. (All he had to do was to say I'm sorry let me at least give you a dessert to go or take care of your drink. That would have spoken volumes but no! So I ran back with the sole intent of telling him I'm not ever coming back. I got there met with him and still had it in my mind that if young assistant manager said I'm sorry let me give you a drink coupon or dessert I would have let it go. But, no! All he could say was, "I'm sorry for your frustration", and some other words that sounded like blah blah blah from Charley Brown's teacher. Btw, my wife was in food service for 9yrs and my daughter has been in for 10 yrs and still is.
