TLDR: deceptive charges, over billing, and poor management…read more I canceled my monthly membership after a year of loyal service because of deceptive hidden fees and non-existent management. On my last visit, I paid for a 15 minute massage add on, which I've done several times a month for the past year. The appointment lasted an hour total for the blowout and massage, just like it always does . At checkout, the front desk charged me an unadvertised $30 "extra time" fee for exceeding 45 minutes. This was essentially double charging me for time I had already paid for with the massage. This fee is nowhere on their menu or membership contract, and it has never been charged to me before. Plus, of course it will last longer than 45 minutes because I paid for the 45 minute blowout and the 15 minute massage! The front desk staff lacked the basic understanding to fix their mistake, and management has completely ignored my two phone calls to resolve it. As a small business owner, I would never defraud a customer like this. You just lost a long time member over a bogus hidden charge, poorly trained employees, and a total failure of management.

You fill out a brief questionnaire and get a choice of scents to choose from. For long hair (mine goes to my back bra strap) is extra. There is also a couple of extra items you can add on to. After the questionnaire, I was taken to a seat at a chair that is located in the main area. The hair dresser took pictures of my scalp and then gave me recommendation to add additional items if you wish. (they use Kerastase products) She brushed my hair and gave me a very nice scalp and neck/shoulder massage. I just wished it would have been in the back room where there was less noise. Then we went in the back room and I laid on this super comfy massage table (the massage table massages your entire body), under eye mask was placed and an eye mask over my eyes and a soft comfy blanket was placed on me. HEAVEN. She put all these treatments on my scalp and hair and I got a scalp and neck massage. Then we proceed to the main area where she blow dry my hair. I came here and she did an amazing job I get people stopping me every day commenting on my dreads. Today I was in an elevator with a guy that had real dreads similar to the style I picked. It took him 16 years to grow his dreads. He told me that he thought mine ever real. That goo enough for me. Great job great service. I visited Paul Mitchell School for a nail service after hearing good things from my in-law…read more Unfortunately, the student told me it was her first time doing nails, and the experience was far from satisfactory. Although the learning leaders checked in, the service took 3.5 hours. The tools seemed inadequate, the gel removal alone took nearly two hours, and the polish was still sticky and wet afterward. I felt for the student because she seemed nervous and frustrated, and I wanted to give her an opportunity to learn. However, students should have the proper tools and guidance to provide a reasonable experience. Based on my visit, I would only recommend this school for a child's basic nail service. I couldn't wait to get home and remove the polish to fix what had been done. Leaders do better and check the finished work before letting a client walk out with this mess.
