I received a gift card from my friends for my birthday of $165 for a Deluxe Treatment. As you walk in Scalp Bar, its super inviting and modern. You fill out a brief questionnaire and get a choice of scents to choose from. For long hair (mine goes to my back bra strap) is extra. There is also a couple of extra items you can add on to. After the questionnaire, I was taken to a seat at a chair that is located in the main area. The hair dresser took pictures of my scalp and then gave me recommendation to add additional items if you wish. (they use Kerastase products) She brushed my hair and gave me a very nice scalp and neck/shoulder massage. I just wished it would have been in the back room where there was less noise. Then we went in the back room and I laid on this super comfy massage table (the massage table massages your entire body), under eye mask was placed and an eye mask over my eyes and a soft comfy blanket was placed on me. HEAVEN. She put all these treatments on my scalp and hair and I got a scalp and neck massage. Then we proceed to the main area where she blow dry my hair. It was a nice treat and I'm incredible greatful for my friends gifting this to me. read more

WOW. This was definitely long overdue and glad I finally made time for self care day. With so many options out there, I turned to Groupon and was happy that I purchased the voucher. I called last week after purchasing it and Sam was truly awesome on the call and explaining the process . Arrived a little before my appointment and Elena greeted me and welcomed me. Filled out a short questionnaire and then came Super Star Sarah F. who extended her hand to shake. Coming from the bay and covid, people don't do this and truly love this as I love this. Sarah explained to me how it works, saw the heavy buildup on my scalp. She walked me to the back room where nice relaxing music is playing overhead. As I climbed in the massage chair, boy did I felt so took a sedative to relax and make me feel at ease. Perhaps the scent or eye mask but truly enjoyed it. Sarah F. was gentle and made sure I was comfortable. After the hair spa, we proceeded back to her station and once again checked my scalp and all the gunky buildup was gone. After years of coloring and damaging my hair. I can honestly feel how healthy it is. I am truly glad I choose Scalp Bar and you will asked yourself, why didn't I do this before Kudos to Sarah F. for making me very special and is A++++ read more

I got the hair damage scalp treatment. Katie was my guide to relaxation and she was amazing. The pressure of the massage was just right and her demeanor was calming. The scalp analysis was cool! So weird to see a part of my body up close and gross lol. During the consultation, another client was loudly on the phone. And at some point during the initial neck/shoulder rub, there was a bunch of loud laughter. Not a biggie, but the general feel of the place is supposed to be relaxing. I saw my girl, Katie, shoot some looks and the quiet calm returned. No fault of the bar but I'm below average height (4'10.5"), so the massage chair wasn't always comfortable. My ankles landed around where the thighs would be. The after shots of my scalp were satisfying. This was a little treat myself for my bday and I'm happy I did! read more

Scalp Bar - Top two are after and bottom two are before. Look at that build up and the squeaky clean difference! - Hair Salons Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

Your latest response continues to misrepresent what I said and now adds dismissiveness toward a legitimate discrimination concern. Let me be absolutely clear one final time: I NEVER said I had "never been charged it before." Quote me exactly where I said that. You can't, because I didn't. I said I was charged on my first visit but didn't notice until I got home. On my second visit, I specifically asked to skip the blow-dry TO AVOID being charged again. Your claim that you "pulled up my previous appointment" confirms exactly what I said - I WAS charged before. So why are you claiming I said I wasn't? Regarding the blow-dry: I asked Sara to skip it. She said it was "already included" and insisted on doing a partial blow-dry so I could finish at home. Your camera footage apparently shows she used a blow dryer exactly as I described. I never claimed she "fully skipped" it. I said I ASKED her to skip it to avoid the charge, and she did a partial job because according to her, I was being charged regardless (it was included). Now you claim the surcharge is "not optional" and based on a "professional evaluation" during the initial assessment. But neither Nikkia nor Sara discussed this evaluation or charge with me before services began. That's the entire problem. If this charge is truly non-optional based on your professional assessment, you have an obligation to inform clients verbally during consultation and obtain their CONSENT before proceeding. Let's also address your claim about "different levels of care." We're talking about a HAIR WASHING service - shampooing, conditioning, and a scalp treatment with massage. This isn't complex styling, cutting, coloring, or heat styling that would genuinely vary significantly by hair type. The service I received included: shampooing, conditioning, lavender oil scalp massage (which is included in your base service), and additional nourishing products that I PAID AN EXTRA $40 for on top of the $100 base price. So any "extra product usage" was already charged separately. There was no additional detangling required for my hair. Your "different levels of care" argument doesn't hold up when the service is fundamentally the same for everyone washing and conditioning hair and when premium products are charged separately anyway. Your statement that this is "not tied to race or appearance" rings hollow when: * The charge is subjectively applied by cosmetologists based on visual assessment * You admit "every person's hair requires different levels of care" and "it will not be the same for everyone" * The criteria keep changing in your responses (length, texture, density, detangling, product usage, blow-dry time, "overall work required") * Clients are not informed verbally before services begin You claim your pricing is "clearly posted" and "applied consistently," yet your own stylists don't consistently communicate it, and your explanations change with every review response. That's not consistency, that's arbitrary application. The fact that I didn't object to the charge on my first visit doesn't make your practice acceptable. Many people don't check their receipts carefully or don't want to cause a scene at checkout. That doesn't excuse charging people without informed consent. Your dismissal of discrimination concerns by saying "what is not appropriate is turning this into an accusation of discrimination" is exactly the problem. When a business applies subjective surcharges based on hair type without transparent communication, and those charges disproportionately affect certain clients, questioning whether discrimination is occurring is absolutely appropriate. I'm done engaging with responses that misrepresent what I've said. My position is clear: your business charges subjective surcharges without obtaining informed verbal consent during consultation, and that is unethical regardless of what's on your website or intake forms. read more

My friends took me here to celebrate my birthday and I didn't know what to expect but I was really excited. My three friends were called to start at the scheduled time and my stylist was late for 30 minutes. At first, I was a little annoyed but once they called me, and I sat there for several minutes, they apologized profusely and I told them that it was my birthday so as long as they made me feel special, it was going to be OK. Boy, did they make me feel special! They gave me a small bag of travel goodies and took very good care of me. I loved every minute from the moment that they analyzed my scalp to telling me what recommendations I should add and how I should double wash when I am at home. When I got to the pod where they washed my hair, it was heaven on earth. I actually fell asleep for a bit. When I got back to my seat, I got a blowout and beautiful curls. I had an awesome time and it's because of the best service I got from Emely. Thank you for making my birthday that much more special and I hope to be back! read more

Extremely unprofessional. I made a reservation here, drove all the way to the location, only to be told upon arrival that they canceled it without any explanation. They didn't bother to call or notify me beforehand to save me the drive. To make it worse, the place was completely empty, so there was absolutely no reason for this kind of poor service. Total waste of time. read more

I was skeptical. I've never been to a scout bar before. Sara and Edith were super nice and polite. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door by the concierge. They had soft music playing, which was very relaxing. We were told what was gonna be happening and walk through everything step-by-step the entire time. The massage was minimal on our neck and back. We were hoping for a little bit longer, but it was fine because we got massage beds to lay on while our scouts for being massaged. The water was the right temperature. She asked if everything was feeling OK throughout. They didn't try and push products on us. They were complementing us. They were very gentle with us as well. Made us feel like royalty. Definitely going to go back again. They also do Groupon discounts and package deals as well. Great for gifts. read more

Henderson! Let this be your sign to treat yourself to a much-needed head spa! This was my second scalp treatment (my first was at Tea Spa), and Scalp Bar is just as amazing--only bigger, with more amenities. I loved that they have private rooms, which makes the whole experience feel super relaxing and personal. One thing that sets them apart is their dedicated hair wash stations. You don't have to book a full head spa to get a blowout--they've made it convenient to just come in for styling if you want. Kinda like Drybar's. Huge shout-out to Alika, who gave me the most beautiful blowout! She was so sweet and attentive, and I walked out feeling like I should be in a hair modeling gig. Ask for her!! If you've been thinking about trying a scalp spa in Henderson, Scalp Bar definitely delivers. read more

Wonderful service start to finish. Open area in the front as they check your scalp with a camera and then they do a essential oil treatment, neck and shoulder massage to get you relaxed. Then they do a oil scalp massage. It is a calm, relaxing, and peaceful space. Once the oil treatment is done they bring you to a private room in the back. Before I began my scalp specialist double checked all ingredients in al the products to insure there was no gluten or coconut. Multiple steps and types of hair treatments are done. I laied down in an amazing full body massage chair from shoulders to toes I felt like a new person. They dont explain the process unless you ask and I just enjoyed the experience and asked as she was drying my hair what products were used and how often to come back. She get a treatment once a month but works there ;). For our buy one get one half off galintines day special it was well worth the 90 minutes of heaven. We will be back in about 6 months. read more

Such a nice experience. Booked a session through classpass for the regular head massage. You get checked in and fill out some paperwork to choose your customizations. You choose an aromatherapy scent and the pressure or massage you like. Then you go sit down and get some pictures taken of your scalp. After you go over recommendations you get a very quick, maybe one minute, shoulder massage. Then you head back for your head spa. The bed is a massage chair basically, which is pretty nice. After your massage is done you get secondary pictures of your scalp to see the difference. Overall it was a relaxing hour! read more

Such an amazing self-care/pampering spot!!! I had Katie and she put it as a facial for your scalp...and that it was! I meant to take pics of everything but literally only got a photo of my scalp before and after LOL the gunk was removed and it was beyond clean plus shiny after. You walk in and instantly feel it's a high end spa. They sit you down where they get to know more about you and your needs then take you to an individual room where you're in a massage bed while you get your treatment and I thought it was the best part of when you get your hair done (the wash and massage that lasts 5 seconds) but it was the entire time!! I fell asleep a few times. Amazing and so relaxing I will definitely come again!! If you're thinking about going, just do it! read more

I was very disappointed at checkout today when I learned they have a surcharge for textured hair. This was my 3rd visit & I've never been charged extra for my hair type, I was not made aware of this when my appointment was booked and no one compensated me after admitting it was their mistake. I'll never be back due to feeling uncomfortable. To me "textured hair" means BLACK HAIR & that's not OK. *Alika was great and super sweet* read more

We found this place because of a bogo 50% off deal but were super impressed for the value. We paid $50 more at other places in town but this place makes it feel manageable to do on a more regular basis. The person who worked on my hair was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The massage was super calming and my hair felt like silky for days. We will definitely be back for another appointment in the near future. Sometimes you're in the mood for a relaxing day and the Scalp Bar will provide you just that! I booked an appointment online and was seen by my stylist, Niki. She was so sweet, easy conversation and had great touch with my hair. I booked the basic treatment - which is now $100 - and added on the chroma gloss ($11) + longer than waist length hair ($25, not advertised on their menu and I'm not sure if my hair goes past my waist..). The process is pretty uniform to other appointments I've had here. They greet you, sit you down to talk about your hair/any concerns, go over options and take you back for the wash and scalp massage. I'm pretty sure I doze off every time during these.. they're just so relaxing! To finish off the appointment, they'll make you some hot tea or bring water, blow dry your hair and you are off to take on the day. There are a few things different than when they first opened: 1. prices have increased just a bit (basic which was $85 is now $100), 2. they have a loyalty card (though I'm not sure if they advertise or offer it to customers often) and 3. it looks like they offer more products to buy in store (they even have a case full of Nutrafol and cold drinks like coconut water in a mini fridge). I really do appreciate that they have your service card filled out and ready for you to complete when you arrive; it's a simple thing that makes the customer coming in feel appreciated and seen. It was quieter on this late Monday morning but I think that vibe is more fitting especially if you want a slower start to your morning. Thank you Niki, my hair feels oh so smooth and looks like a dreammm!! read more

My mom got me a Groupon so I checked out Scalp Bar via the Basic Treatment. When you arrive you fill out a questionnaire about hair type and what scent you prefer for the aromatherapy. I had no idea what to expect but I enjoyed the whole process. The main room is very similar to a hair salon, with estheticians at each station. We started off with a little aromatherapy massage and photos of my scalp. Next we went to the shampoo room where you lay on an amazing full body massage table and get your hair washed for 30 minutes. It really is heavenly. I always find it difficult to fully relax during a massage, and this was no different. It's over before you can fully clear your mind. I'd love to lay there for another 30 minutes for sure. Next we went back to the station and did a blow dry and more scalp photos. I have to admit I am skeptical of the photos. She put some oil on my hair right before the "after" photo and was like "see? Your follicles are now so shiny!" Yeah okay. Either way, it was a relaxing experience. Do I feel like my hair changed dramatically that day or any day afterwards? No. But honestly in terms of pampering myself I'd rather do this than get my nails done. It's more affordable than a massage so I could see myself adding this to a semi regular routine. Overall I had a good time and would recommend checking it out! read more

Yesterday we visited Scalp Bar on Eastern Ave in Las Vegas, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. This unique wellness spot is dedicated to scalp health and deep relaxation, think of it as a facial for your scalp, but elevated into a full sensory ritual. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the front desk attendant and guided through a quick check-in process. We filled out a brief questionnaire about our hair and scalp concerns, preferences, and goals. We also got to choose an aromatherapy scent and an eye mask for the session, which added a personalized and spa-like touch. Our appointment was at 11:30, and right on time, our specialists came to get us. My specialist was Luz Molina, and she was incredible, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely skilled. She immediately made me feel comfortable and explained each step of the treatment. We started with a scalp exam using an advanced imaging device that shows areas of dryness, buildup, irritation, or imbalance. It was fascinating to see and made the treatment feel truly customized. After that, we were led into one of their private treatment rooms. Each room is designed to be cozy and calming, with dim lighting, soft music, and a full body massage chair that begins melting away tension the moment you sit down. With my eye mask on and the scent I had selected diffusing through the room, Luz began the treatment with rosemary oil and a double cleanse using premium scalp care products. The cleanse was followed by a relaxing scalp ritual, slow, therapeutic movements that stimulate circulation, ease tension, and balance the scalp. Since I chose the hair-loss treatment, my service included Nutrafol products specifically formulated to support growth and density. One of my favorite parts was the Halo, a rainfall style water cascade used during the rinse. It turned what could have been a basic step into a dreamy, meditative moment. After the rinse, Luz applied Nutrafol's targeted scalp serum to nourish the follicles and reduce shedding, followed by a simple blowout. She even finished my service with red-light therapy, which energizes follicles and supports healthy hair growth. They also offer several add on services if you want to upgrade your treatment. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the high quality service made this a truly exceptional experience. I absolutely loved my visit, and I'm already planning to make Scalp Bar a part of my monthly self-care routine. Highly recommend! read more

I took my mom to Scalp Bar for Mother's Day, and we were both blown away by the experience! It was our first time at a head spa, and everything from the ambiance to the service exceeded our expectations. I booked the Basic treatment and decided to add on the scalp scrub for just $10 after they recommended it due to some buildup--and I'm so glad I did! It made a noticeable difference, and my scalp has never felt cleaner. The space itself is beautiful and calming. They let you choose your aromatherapy scent, which adds a personalized and relaxing touch. The experience starts with a neck and shoulder massage, followed by detailed scalp photos before and after the treatment so you can actually see the results. The full body massage chair was amazing, and the scalp treatment felt incredibly refreshing. They even offer you tea or water while they blow dry your hair to finish everything off. My hair feels so healthy, light, and clean. I'll definitely be back soon and highly recommend Scalp Bar to anyone looking to treat themselves or a loved one! read more

I booked online and read reviews thoroughly and chose the person I wanted to meet with for my first time. I had to move my schedule around to fit within her time slots open, but made it work. Upon arriving they took the liberty to swap me to someone else and stated that the other person isn't in all the time (weird when they have an online booking schedule). The lady I got was very check the box. She did the dog and pony show everyone around me was doing - this is your scalp - these are the upsell items you should buy etc. I took one upsell, but not the rest. When we went into the back room where you are in the chamber for the treatment it was not what I had in mind. It was relaxing at first, the lady said "see you after the treatment." I thought she was leaving, but she stayed and I guess that was the signal that she was going to stop talking. Anyway, the massage was probably 6 rubs with her thumb - like when you ask your boyfriend for a back massage and he couldn't want to do anything less. The marketing has all the steps as grandiose but in reality they are very minor parts. I told her I had a wedding coming up and then she talked the whole time about hers, instead of the whole "See you after your treatment." It was entertaining, but not what I was hoping for. The hair part was where she shined, she took almost 45 mins on my blowout and my hair sin't long. She was very passionate about the hair part so I could tell she came from that side and the massaging/scalp part was just checking boxes. In the end, I think it matters who you see, and as you can see, its not possible to pick. Lastly, the lady that checked me out was a snobby gal. Instead of taking my card, swiping it and letting me go, she kept greeting and checking people in while I was just standing there holding my credit card. Bye. Scalp and hair was clean, blowout was fresh so 3:5 stars. read more

They advertise happy hour pricing for blowouts but don't apply it, I'm not sure how the scalp services are but I would say a blowout isn't worth it there. At first glance, when you walk in, you're greeted right away. The ambiance gives off a high-end salon vibe -- everything is clean, shiny, and beautifully put together. After filling out a short questionnaire, you're seated for a hair analysis and consultation. Next, you're taken to a private, dimly lit room with a comfortable massage chair. The treatment itself is incredibly relaxing -- a mix of scalp care, massage, and aromatherapy that feels both soothing and rejuvenating. Once you're finished, you return to the salon area where you're offered hot tea or water while they complete your blow dry or style of choice. It's truly a full experience from start to finish -- peaceful, pampering, and luxurious. Katie was amazing, I will definitely be returning. read more

I don't recommend this place. I booked online after seeing an instagram influencer's story. I was so excited to visit here to get the anti-hair loss treatment which is over $180. As soon as I sat down on the chair, the service person tried to up sale. She tried her best but $180 is already over my budget. My spa day was already ruined. I was so disappointed after my treatment. Because my back side of head was not washed properly. I had to wash my hair at home again. I saw the before and after pictures. I can see the scalp was not clean. I'm not sure that it's the training issue. If you want to ruin your day with your money, I highly recommend this place. read more

I talked my best friend into coming here with me for a relaxing experience but we both walked away rather frustrated. We both paid for the extra massage, neither of us really even got 5 minutes. My esty didn't do the before or after pics even though I had never been to their business before. My bestie and I were able to be in the same treatment room but both experienced the same, sad treatment. We both felt like we spent like 15 minutes in the treatment room and the rest of the time blow drying our hair. The treatment was also not relaxing, none of the techniques that I experienced my first time at a scalp spa at a different business were not used, it just felt like they were both preoccupied. If you're like me and your favorite part of a hair appointment is getting your head rubbed Scalp Bar is for you! I've had a scalp massage at another business and it compared nothing to this and I enjoyed my time there. Booking was a little tricky because of my time, but I was able to get an appointment, well worth the wait. I was greeted nicely at the front and Sara was my scalp technician . It's very beautiful inside. Very relaxing. They take a camera and let you see your scalp which was so interesting and so cool that other place definitely did not do that. She was very thrown on asking me questions and letting me know what she was doing. You go back to a room after some initial treatments and your head is massaged for like 45 minutes while you're on a full body massager amazing!!! I really need to see how I can fit this in my budget to do it every month. They have a package that you can get for this. I did use a Groupon to use my first time cause I wasn't sure if I would like it or not definitely will be back.
