I was introduced to Salon Mi on a bit of a time crunch before a trip for a balayage. I was paired with Dayana who was very sweet and thorough. She was informative and made sure to ask the right questions on matching technique, color and cut to my preferences. This is my third time getting a haircut at Salon Mi. This time around I booked a session with Dayana. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she gave me exactly that! She is very skilled and professional. I l truly love how my hair looked after the appointment. Always an amazing experience at Salon Mi! I had used Groupon for my haircut! It was well worth it. Brianna did my haircut. I don't really ask for much but a trim and layers. She did it exactly how I wanted it. She was so sweet and gentle on my hair. Owner was also nice to make sure my appointment was all set up. I love the new look to the salon. So fresh and clean! I can't wait to come back for blowouts in the future. They have blowouts starting at $35 and monthly blowout package. Looking forward to coming back!! read more

You get what you pay for. I knew I was getting a cheap hair cut and I got exactly that. She didn't do a terrible job, but she did mess up and then have to cut even shorter than I wanted to make up for it. I think Dayana is just young and inexperienced. But my biggest concern was getting the dead, dry ends chopped off so I definitely got that lol. When I straightened it today, there were so many jagged bits and pieces that weren't trimmed. It looks so sloppy. Still gave a 25% tip and just won't ever go back. read more

I just moved to Vegas, and my friend from Hong Kong recommended Salon Mi. My hairstylist was Mi, and she was absolutely amazing -- super patient, funny, and really easy to talk to. She took the time to discuss which hair color would suit me best. I got highlights done, and I love how it turned out! She also gave me great advice on how to style my hair and recommended the best shampoo and hair care products. The price was very reasonable too. Highly recommend this salon to everyone! read more

I have been going to Mi for around 2-3 years now. First time I ever dyed my hair was with her and I have been hooked ever since. She not only knows how to handle my hair but also is just very kind and easy to talk to. She answered all my questions from the beginning and walked me through the steps. The place is nice and clean. Went in for my haircut appt with Dayana and she did such an amazing job. I asked for a trim, face framing layers and long layers in the back. I showed her a picture of what I wanted it to look like and she got it perfect. She is truly an expert. She gave me advice on curtain bangs depending on my face shape and hair part. At the end, she styled and blow dried my hair in sections and I never thought my hair could ever look this good. Thanks so much Dayana! My husband and I stopped to ask hours since we didn't see any posted and at 10:30AM the doors were locked and only 1 worker was inside but no customers; 1 car off to side but no others. So we knocked and wasn't expecting what we received when our question was simple and who finally came to the door seemed bothered as if we were asking something too difficult; she kept rolling her eyes. Which if she was pleasant she might of had a possible new client but with her negative vibes and bad attitude we will keep walking. Sorry to bother you as you just stand around. Apparently, one question was one too many for her. Duly noted, don't ask questions of a new business if their attitude doesn't match what you deserve or expect. Be careful when asking anything. The bottom line is don't be mean to anyone because you don't know who is inquiring, the position they hold, who they know, etc. Always, put your best foot forward. And when this lady couldn't even do that it already turned me off to any potential return or recommendation. read more

Best of the best! Quality standard for blond! Mi is so talented and highly experienced with all different hair textures and tolerance! Always friendly, informative, flexible & delivers EXACTLY what I come in asking for! I don't trust anyone else with my hair! My hair is very fine and takes lifting rather quickly, however through years of highlights and coloring it's been difficult to get a seamless full highlight, until I found Mi! This place is so peaceful and calming. I always get anxious whenever I go to get a haircut coz you don't know you might end up getting a bad haircut. But surprisingly I didn't feel anxious for the first time lol. I always get a bad haircut from different places like great clips and sports clips. Like I tell them I need a trim and end up getting really short like almost a buzz cut kinda hairstyle. So, I decided to just grow my hair for a change. It got really long to the point I got annoyed when my hair hit my eyes. Drea helped me a lot! I don't know what hairstyle I want or how short I want it to cut. I just told him that want to keep my hair long. And he told me what is the best cut for my hair. I was fully satisfied with the outcome! I called Salon Mi to schedule an appt as I had singed my hair with a curling iron and needed to have that section trimmed up and blended into the rest of my hair. They got me right in and my stylist was amazing. She listened, trimmed up and blended the section into my hair. She took time to finger curl my curly hair and used really great products to calm my hair down and get rid of any frizz. I am extremely pleased with the results!!!! Thank you!!! read more

She's opened her own salon on Rainbow and opened yet another salon in Henderson, where I had just gone to this last time. Congrats to Mi!! During that time, my eyebrows became extremely itchy, which made me uncomfortable. I'm not sure if it was a reaction or due to the tint being left on longer than expected, but it definitely didn't feel right. Everything turned out fine visually, but better communication -- especially when something changes during the service -- would have made a big difference in the overall experience.
