When it was delivered, it was a 32" door. When he called about it, he was told that they would order us a 30" door for half price delivered. BUT...no take backs and no credit for their mistake. Take your chances...make sure they get your order right or you will eat it! Oh, and then I called and left Mr. Matthews a message but no return call.

Don't ever work for Isiah Bingham or his dad or that lumber yard they suck! After 10 months of all the overtime I worked in extra work I put in when no one else did And I couldn't even get a single dollar raise or even over any sick days or vacation. If there ever was a company that operated not by the books it's them. I swear I don't even think they have a book to go by. Either that or they lie on all their paperwork. And they should be safety audited. I got injured pretty much everyday because of unsafe working conditions and poor training. They treat their employees like crap and the other employees treat each other like crap and swear and yell and are completely unprofessional. I worked hard. Meanwhile, the lead on the truss table is always on his phone gets to take however many paid days off He wants and takes as long of breaks as he wants without any repercussions. He does not lead and he does not train or answer questions from his co-workers, just greets them with disrespect and arrogance. I voiced my concerns on safety and the mistreatment of each other there and was only met with confrontation and my supervisor even put his fists up and threatened me and told me to shut my mouth. They just wing it everyday. Lousy.

The prices are fair, and depending on the day, they can have them ready in about an hour (sometimes even faster), which beats waiting days like other spots. A few times a year, usually around the holidays but sometimes other times too they run a buy-one-get-one-free deal. Definitely worth checking out, but I'd give them a quick call first to confirm when it's happening. They also have a punch card program, and I grabbed a knife bag for $5 that's totally worth it. All in all, it's a solid neighborhood hardware store-with friendly staff, fair prices, and plenty of parking in the strip mall area.

The Rochester Colonial team was highly skilled, professional, and incredibly respectful of my home. Unlike other contractors I've used in the past, they used plastic barriers to wall off the work area so dust and dirt didn't spread throughout the house. They paid attention to every detail and even mopped the floor before leaving. The craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer care exceeded my expectations. Now they are telling me they can't honor it, probably hoping I'd just keep the order anyway. Such bad business practices. The old bait and switch routine. He became red, got up, and asked a co-worker to correct the problem. What a nasty guy. Yes, I am a woman. Yes, I instal hardwood floors. Get used to it, Ken. He later apologized.....not for screaming, but for charging the wrong amount. Apologized from the other end of the store. Wimp!

I had several estimates and most wouldn't even considerer talking on the job because it was all hand work and in a VERY difficult manual labor based on this location. The owner James DeCory had some solid reassurances and fantastic suggestions that would remediate future recurrences . I'm getting long winded here but the bottom line is, he does outstanding Meticulous work. He was there faithfully every day and did it all by himself. Bottom line ! HE'S HONEST HARD WORKING DEDICATED and VERY REASONABLE! I know by singing his praises I might have to wait in line to get him back for any further remediation. After my experience with him I don't anticipate any further issues but I'll gladly wait in line for him!!
