I recently learned from an online friend that they also sharpen knives! The prices are fair, and depending on the day, they can have them ready in about an hour (sometimes even faster), which beats waiting days like other spots. A few times a year, usually around the holidays but sometimes other times too they run a buy-one-get-one-free deal. Definitely worth checking out, but I'd give them a quick call first to confirm when it's happening. They also have a punch card program, and I grabbed a knife bag for $5 that's totally worth it. All in all, it's a solid neighborhood hardware store-with friendly staff, fair prices, and plenty of parking in the strip mall area.

The sales team -- especially Mike G. -- was spectacular. They spent several hours with me over multiple visits helping me understand how to evaluate different options and ultimately recommending the best solution for my specific situation. I never felt pressured, only supported and well-informed. The installation experience was perhaps one of the best I've ever had with any home improvement company. The Rochester Colonial team was highly skilled, professional, and incredibly respectful of my home. Unlike other contractors I've used in the past, they used plastic barriers to wall off the work area so dust and dirt didn't spread throughout the house. They paid attention to every detail and even mopped the floor before leaving. The craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer care exceeded my expectations. I couldn't recommend Rochester Colonial more highly.

Picked out my flooring when it came to ringing it up he was newer and said he didn't know how to apply the discount. Said once his manager got finished he would get him to refund it and I could just pay now. I had a Dr appointment so I agreed if he could put that in writing. Now they are telling me they can't honor it, probably hoping I'd just keep the order anyway. Such bad business practices. The old bait and switch routine. I am in sales myself and would never not honor something I put in writing for a customer. I will never shop here again. And I recommend you not shop here either. When I told Joe that I was going to trash them on social media and he said "bash away". This is not good business practices.

Walking into LL to pick up my order. Ken asked if he could help me. Told him I needed to pick up my…read moreorder. He goes to the computer, pulls up the order and directs me to the processor which displayed an incorrect amount. Then, out of the blue, Ken screamed "PUT YOuR CARD IN!.!" This caught me by surprise. I said it displayed the wrong amount. He screamed "IT WILL CORRECT". Put my card in, guess what? Wrong amount. I told him he shouldn't scream at me as I am the customer. He became red, got up, and asked a co-worker to correct the problem. What a nasty guy. Yes, I am a woman. Yes, I instal hardwood floors. Get used to it, Ken. He later apologized.....not for screaming, but for charging the wrong amount. Apologized from the other end of the store. Wimp!
