Half gone and in a hurry.

Had my partner pick me up a latte and his son got a smoothie. Zayd was sucking down the smoothie like nobody's business when they walked in to deliver my latte. The latte was smooth and no butter after taste! Great job Taos Java. We found our coffee shop for the vacation on morning one. Lucky us!

    What a cool table!

Walked over from our hotel & so glad I did. Gorgeous space, good coffee, yummy bagels. They have great looking breakfasts breads, they even have quiche. Do it, you won't regret it.

Breakfast burrito ! Yum!! And tasty coffee

Good food. Amazing staff. Cozy place. 100% will go again. We had a coffee and a breakfast burrito each and throughly enjoyed both! The shop has inside and outside seating and a cozy demeanor. And EVERYONE was so kind and helpful and genuinely nice to be around. I highly suggest going here for a lovely coffee and relaxing time.

Piñon coffee in my reusable mug and a breakfast burrito

Perfect morning retreat for a coffee and breakfast burrito. I had a piñon coffee with cream and sugar. I brought my own thermos. Service is excellent and very friendly. I also had a green Chile and cheese breakfast burrito which is stuffed with potatoes and eggs as well. A touch of spicy salsa was the perfect accompaniment. I'm writing this from the cute outdoor patio and already looking forward to my next visit.

Excellent coffee, tasty breakfast burrito, beautiful ambience in front of the adobe fireplace. Efficient, friendly service.

    Cute design

Cute little place. Not horribly overpriced. Dog patio but not allowed inside. Coffee was amazing!! Just the perfect blend. Owners were kind and attentive. I would definitely come back

What a lovely spot! The drinks and the green chile quiche were delicious and the service was warm and welcoming. I wish this was in my neighborhood back in Los Angeles so I could come in daily! :)

Good drip coffee with variety of food options. Breakfast burrito was good but a bit overpriced for its contents.

The best coffee in town, and the least pretentious! And we have tried them all over the past 10 yrs of coming to Taos for our summers.

She even gave us a heads up that she was also handling a 7-top table and made sure we could get our order in before theirs since it was just the two of us. Thought that was really thoughtful and great service. We started with the salsa, queso, guacamole, and a Caesar salad for appetizers and everything was delicious. A great way to kick off the meal. For the main course we both went with the steak fajitas. The steak was a little on the tough side, but overall still really good and heavily seasoned. The portion is generous too. One order could easily be split between two people. It comes with rice, beans, cheese, pico, and three tortillas. The restaurant itself is super charming. It's inside the historic Taos Inn and you can really feel the history in the space. The atmosphere alone makes the experience memorable. Would highly recommend checking out Doc Martin's if you're visiting Taos. Great service, great atmosphere, and a solid meal.

The interior is not quite as…read moreupscale as a few other eateries in the area, but it's set within the original adobe house and celebrates local flavors beyond traditional chile, including choke cherry and fresh trout. Service is good, and the food is fresh and tasty, albeit a bit overpriced.
