I went there for my first time & I did the lay down the beds are amazing nice rooms but under the plastic could be clearer & the second time I did the stand up that was nice as well. I will be trying others out and compare them. read more

Being from out of town and staying here the next 9 weeks, I decided to check out this place to keep my summer tan afloat. I found this place pretty clean, the beds are nice and the rooms are a good size. When walking through, there are huge spray tan beds in the way which is kind of annoying. And you have to pay for makeup wipes whereas every tanning place I have been tanning (8 years of experience) has had at least baby wipes to clean off or wipe off makeup. Also, the tanning packages are at a decent price especially if you are a student, however, you will have to buy 3 month packages regardless. Which for me, doesn't work so well. Bad customer service & rude employee Me and two of my friends walked in and the lady acted like she hated to see us. I told her my friend was new at the whole spray tanning thing and that she wanted to go before me so I could walk her through it. (I worked at a tanning salon back home for two years and had the same exact mystic spray) She then told me that I had to go first so I went ahead and went. The spray tan room clearly needs a good wash. The carpet is soaking wet and the walls have a brown film covering it. Even the poster in the room is tented orange. The booth itself drips water and the floor is one big puddle. I came out and expected my friend to be able to go back and the girl working put someone who came in AFTER us in the room and I asked her why and she just said it was basically because my friend was taking too long. Ive been to multiple tanning places in Morgantown and Tanning World is so much better than any other competitor. Staff is friendly, and they make great recommendation on lotions. I've been tanning with them for a little over a year and would never switch. They also have great deals and are extremely reliable :) read more

I am in a wedding in early June, so I decided I needed to get a monthly tanning package somewhere. I'm not a big "tanner", so I really only wanted to go for 2 weeks. I researched tanning beds in Morgantown and saw that Tanning World offers student prices. I thought, "great!". I stopped after work to get an unlimited monthly package, but was told I couldn't cancel until after three mos. had passed. So $30 a month, for 3 months, I was going to be at $90! I said absolutely not. When I contacted costumer service to ask why in the world this would be a requirement and asked if it's worth it to lose the business of someone like me, I never even got a response. Their "low" prices are a trap, and their costumer service is even worse. Ugh! I just need a nice base tan! read more

Horrible Horrible ! Not worth your $$ Spent 35$ on sample lotion and sunshades And 1 session First the told we they don't lend out sunshades if you forget them you have to buy them- Then while laying in the bed noticed it never got warm After tanning and seeing 0zero results I went to the front desk and asked for her to turn. The bed back on. 8 light bulbs in the bed were completly out! So I asked if this happened often and the manager I. Duty said yes but they are not in. Charge of the light bulbs. I asked for a refund and she said she didn't have the ability to do that ! Before u pay... Ask to look at the beds and bulbs first ! I do not generally write reviews, noticed this as I'm up early looking up the hours. This is by far the best tanning salon in Morgantown. Their staff is very friendly ( I noticed a review referred to their staff as dirty) That completely blew me away considering they are friendly college students. The beds I have used are always up to par, (I usually tan level 4&5 beds) clean/clean face towel always available) & relaxing rooms. This place always has great sales like 40% off sales on the best tanning lotions I.e. Luminary, lots of designer skin lotion jwoww with an add % off for members...Theeee best by far!! read more

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY. They overcharged my friend when they took money out of her account, but thankfully she caught it. They mess up billing all the time and refuse to refund anybody. Completely rude. Girl at the desk called me a liar. I paid extra for a bed, meanwhile all the face lamps were burnt out. Was given a bed that had not been cleaned yet. Beds barely even work. Please go elsewhere trust me. They're assholes here. read more
