Todd was amazing! We took my son for his 13th bday. They got to smash car windows and spray paint cars then ride on top of the tank to crush a car. Every little boys dream day. Todd took photos and videos for us on our phone so we didn't even have to worry about that and he also recommended restaurants and other activities! read more

Went for Father's Day and Todd was very welcoming and very friendly. Was happy to point us to nearby places to visit. 10/10 would go again.

Absolutely EPIC experience!!! Everything about it was exciting and once in a lifetime EPIC!! We did the tank ride car crush and the experience will forever be one of our favorites!! It's definitely not something you get the chance to do very often so well worth the cost and memories! To schedule a ride, crush or other experience, go through the website and email. Todd is a very busy man all day long so email worked best for us and after our experience we totally understand why it worked best! He was also patient with us because with traveling full time, sometimes we're unable to respond right away and he made sure he kept our spot for us! It was muddy, very very muddy! We were given clean socks and rubber boots though so no worries! We loved the mud, it totally makes the experience! We spray painted our crushing car, smashed some windows then totally smashed the car with a few runs over it! So much fun, I very highly recommend! I posted a video on TikTok at bclife_vanlife if you'd like to see what it looks like! read more

Fun, unique experience! While in Blue Ridge, we visited Tank Town USA to drive a tank and shoot their .30 caliber machine gun. The website displayed no openings so we emailed Todd to see if he could fit us in. He responded and reserved a spot for us during our requested date range. The process of reserving a time and paying was straight forward. Pros: - Todd is welcoming, informative, and experienced - During the drive he provided guidance on speed and what to expect - Detailed, easy to navigate website - Easy reservations online or by phone - Clear instructions and details provided via email - Location is conspicuous - Ample parking - Reasonably priced Bring water and sunscreen, especially if you visit during the summer months. read more

Had an amazing time here, as birthday surprise for my wife. The place looks spooky from the outside, but once you're in and the tank is there, it is a super cool and unique experience. The tank was easy to drive and interesting for a passenger also. The owner, Todd, is very pleasant, accommodating and knowledgable. The whole experience took about an hour, it was really memorable. read more

Todd is the ultimate host and photo expert! We celebrated a buddies 40th with destroying a Honda Civic and shooting the M1919 on 10/17/20. Through the entire experience, Todd didn't rush us and made sure we all had a great time. We had a crew of 8 total adults (2 from Fargo, ND; 2 from Minneapolis, MN; and 4 from Nashville, TN) and we all had a fantastic time! Every picture and video is like reliving the very positive and fun experience. Thank you to Todd for making it so great! read more

Tank Town USA is an absolute must if you're in town for a bachelor party/bachelorette party/birthday party/stress relief seminar. A one of a kind experience that I would readily do again, and plan to when I have the chance. If you're reading this review because you're unsure if its worth it, stop wondering. Its worth every cent. The long and short of it. 1. TANKS! We christened our ride Tanky McTankface and did laps around the track in groups of 3. Each person took a turn driving, riding in the back cabin, and sitting in the top bucket seat (all with lit cigars in mouth...... because that's how you roll with tanks). The tank maneuvers surprisingly well for such a large vehicle and tops out much faster than I would have expected. With a little mud available from the rain the night before, we had an awesome time hap handedly rolling through puddles, kicking up dirt and being all tank-y. Would definitely do again. 2. Excavation. After we left the tank we were directed to an excavator and a big hole. We proceeded to make the big hole even bigger in a variety of ways (digging, pushing, more digging). It wasn't anything I had really had any desire to do previously but was surprisingly interesting and fun. I would spend more time in that cabin if I had the chance. 3. Car Crushing. The final stage of our afternoon, we were presented with a less than mint condition Ford Explorer and a few cans of spray-paint. After some creativity and a whole bunch of inside jokes, as well as the date of our buddies wedding, the bachelor boarded Tanky McTankface and did a few laps, making sure to shatter every part of the poor truck. Needless to say the sound of a several ton tank rolling over pane glass is pretty satisfying. After the damage was done we were allowed to go to town on the remains with a sledge hammer. Who the hell needs a therapist? 4. Staff. It would be unfair for me to not mention the awesome guys running this place. They really went out of their way to make sure that we got the full experience we were looking for. I want to thank them for their infinite patience when showing us how to use the machinery as well as taking about a million photos. These guys know what they're doing, know what their guests are looking for, and helped provide an experience that we'll all remember for a long, long time. While we weren't wreaking havoc, we were provided with a couple chairs in a shaded truck with a fan to keep cool and watch our buddies have the time of their lives. I'm really glad we were able to have such an awesome experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who happens to be up the way of Blue Ridge. Overall Grade: A read more

If you've got some latent aggression to work out, how about crushing a car with a tank? Not your everyday experience, but you can actually do that at Tank Town. The owner, Todd, is really welcoming and makes you feel very comfortable steering a 30 ton tank through the mud. He steps you through the process, with an emphasis on safety. My wife and I crushed a car, and I shot a machine gun. It was a blast!! read more

Let boys (21 & 19 yrs old) drive a tank on this vacation. The one-man show is incredible and is run very professionally. The boys enjoyed immensely and the "biggest-child", the father, enjoyed riding on top during their driving times. read more

My 88 year old dad went on a tank and loved it! The tank just runs over everything and it's fun to go when it's a little muddy.

You're going to have a great time. Should be on everyone's bucket list. Also, got to shoot the browning 1919!!!!

This place is AWESOME! We brought a party of seven of all ages and everyone of us left there ready to go again. They are a little hard to get a hold of at first but once you talk with Todd he responds quickly by email. We didn't pay to crush a car but we will be paying to do that next time. read more

What an amazing experience!. First and foremost, driving a tank is AWESOME!. Secondly, getting a car crush and taking your frustration out on the car is immensely satisfying. Thirdly, the scenery nearby is beautiful. Pro tip: The person in the mounted chair on top has a fantastic view, so definitely get some video from up there, with a GoPro if possible. Todd is a really nice, really thoughtful guy and his job is making sure your experience is top notch. He does that by being friendly, explaining things well, directing your driving gently, and trying to help you find the best possible angles to get pictures and video (and even acting as photographer at times). His suggestions in the local area were top notch selections and we were so glad to have that as a value add for our trip. GO TO TANK TOWN USA AND HAVE A BLAST! read more

Thank you to Todd with Tank Town USA for helping me surprise my husband for our 2nd anniversary. After looking online it said the date I wanted was not available. I contacted Todd and he was able to personally schedule the date and time that worked best for our vacation schedule. He was very responsive and helpful! We arrived for the tank driving and car crush experience and my husband was very surprised and excited! We spray painted the car and banged it up before my husband took the wheel of the tank to crush it! Todd was very knowledgable and explained the history of the tanks. He took tons of cool pictures and videos for us! It was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone who wants to tap into their wild side! Todd also suggested a beautiful scenic route and hike for us to check out on our way to Helen and we are so happy we followed his advice! read more

We had an awesome time today at Tank Town USA. This was definitely a bucket list item for me personally (and my three sons also had a blast)! But...just when you think it couldn't possibly get any cooler...we got to shoot a machine gun (M1919)!!! My family has really enjoyed this year's vacation here in Morganton (North Georgia), but Tank Town USA was definitely the highlight of our trip! It was worth every penny! Rob read more

Tank Town is awesome! Just took my son and his friend and we all loved it. We drove a tank and crushed a car. An unforgettable experience. Todd the owner was very pleasant and showed us how to maneuver the tank. We also opted for the video photo package which I highly recommend. Even though it was relatively inexpensive Sammy the photographer/videographer did a great job. I was able to concentrate on the activity and fun and not have to worry about taking pictures and video. read more

Absolutely the most amazing time I ever had, the staff is amazing and they really go all out for you. I came, I saw, I crushed! there motto; you'll remember it forever because you will go home with a free t-shirt from them. YOU MUST CRUSH! don't waste your time just driving, the crush gives you 20 minutes of driving. MY EXPERIENCE; When I showed up todd (the owner) asked me to go to the lot and pick any car I wanted to crush, then along with videographer Sammy we began. Sammy understood what we were looking for and accommodated us fully. After driving the tank for 20 minutes, I crushed the Chevy Lumina and what an experience. Then I asked todd if I could further crush the lumina with excavator after already running over the car 10 times. Assuming there would be a cost, I asked how much? the answer surprisingly was have fun, that is a free experience for you! All in all this is a must do, don't cheap out or you will regret it. I am by no means a rich man but I flew from NY to Morganton for the sole purpose of crushing a car! and I left happier than ever! read more

Do it, don't hesitate or postpone any longer. Great experience opted for the Crush and Add a 2nd driver. Worth every penny, maybe even more but don't tell Todd. Todd and Sammy were great hosts. Got to pick out our victim and decorate. Both of us drove around and got used to the APC prior to the crush. It was quite intuitive and Todd was right there with you. Oldest child rode the suicide seat up on top and loved it. You get a commemorative t-shirt with each package which was a great bonus. We hired Sammy as photographer and he was right there in the action capturing it all for us. Made it alot easier so we could hang on. Great bucket list experience. Will work with my office and see if we can come do a corporate event up there! Only two places in the US you can do this and this one is close to home to boot. Go book now, don't wait!!!! read more

Tanktown USA offers a wonderful experience. The gentleman that helped my group was extremely nice, welcoming, and informative. Not only did he offer to take pictures and tell us about the history of the tanks at the location, he also gave us advice on great hiking locations and restaurants. 10/10 experience. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and different experience. read more

This place was awesome! Todd is great! Did the driving, excavating and gun range and had a blast.

Tank Town USA, a testosterone pumping, adrenaline rush of absolute must if you're in town for a bachelor party. This is completely unique experience that I would readily do again, and would highly recommend! Honestly beyond drive tank, crush car what else do you need to know. Seated on a huge lot, its a lot of dirt, mud and TANKS! Todd, a former Marine, was awesome with us and allowed us ample time to goof off considering it was a bachelor party! We all did the best we could with our hangovers to ride the tank and be stoked, honestly I was not stoked, I was afraid of the digestive pyrotechnics that might ensue, but as soon as the diesel fired up, that went away and it was straight out of the most patriotic rock and roll music video you have ever seen in your life. After taking a couple of laps around the track with 10 of us in tow, we realized that a tank will fly and is surprisingly agile over what I would call difficult terrain. we took a group picture then offloaded onto the ground to "decorate" the car we were going to obliterate with a tank. As if driving a tank at around 15 mph in mud flinging, American Glory wasn't enough, Car Crushing takes it to a new height! Upon disembarking from the tank, we were directed to gather around an older model Saturn coupe. Todd, handed us a few cans of spray paint, and a massive sledge hammer. This is when the Office Space scene with the fax machine should start to play in your head. After some creativity, drawings, inside fraternity stuff, and a whole bunch of inside jokes, we took a sledge hammer to that car and took to some much needed stress relief! As if that was enough, the absolutely devastating sound of steel crushing steel and the pancaking of a modern day sedan, was better than a great many other forms of stress relief! As with any successful business, we have to discuss the awesome people who work at Tank Town USA. Todd really knows what he's doing and moreover, knows what this clients are gonna want to do! He even gave the groom a T Shirt! Todd you are the man and Tank Town USA is absolute must if you're anywhere near Blue Ridge Georgia! read more

Incredible experience. I drove, while the wife rode on top. I don't know who had more fun. Awesome adventure, came down to GA from NY for a few days after seeing an ad for Tank Town USA on the news. This was definitely the highlight of the trip. Just getting behind the tank driving it around the course was great, but crushing the car was a feeling like no other. You may be looking at this and thinking 500.00 to crush a car is expensive, but you only live once get out there and enjoy it. Driving the tank and topping it off with a car crush is an experience like no other, and one you wont be sorry you did.
