If you don't make it, then order from their online shop. You won't regret it! If you are Latino, I guarantee your favorite thing in all their snacks will be the "Spicy Whole Seed" and "Sweet & Sour Whole Seed" if you're anything like my Mexican hubby. We could not stop eating them! The LiHing Mango and dried Papaya were also very delicious and had the perfect combination of flavor and texture. The LiHing gummy Peach rings are unexplainable. It tastes like no peach rings you have ever experienced. I don't even like peach rings like that. Strangely, it feels like love was literally put in the bag. It's not listed as an ingredient, but it's totally in there. Maybe it's Aloha, maybe it's just quality ingredients. Whatever it is, I hope the recipe never changes, because everyone should experience it! If you're a "foodie" this is a must stop shop on the island.

This family-owned gem is hands down one of the most delightful places I've ever visited! From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted by the warmest smiles and the friendliest faces. They have a good selection of local candies, drinks and chocolates. Love that they had dippin dots too on those hot days! If you want to support a local business that treats its customers like family while enjoying some of the best candy around, Obachans is the place to be. It's an experience you won't soon forget!

You don't want to be disappointed and to show up only to find out they're all gone. Reserve, pick up, and enjoy! We got the dark chocolate truffle, red bean paste and peanut butter milk chocolate mochis. They were all delicious. The mochi skin was so smooth, so soft, and nicely chewy - just how a perfect mochi should be. And then fillings were complementary to the mochi skin - not too sweet, just right (so you know, when I drink milk tea, I usually go for 25% or if any milk tea with syrup, then 0%). Dark chocolate truffle had a very nice smooth dark chocolate truffle taste, and if you like dark chocolate, you'll love this. Peanut butter milk chocolate had a very nice texture with the chunky peanut chunks. It was deliciously chewy, crunchy and savory! And the traditional red bean paste, it was yummy. Only regret is that I didn't buy another set of all flavors to bring home to store in the freezer to have for the weeks to come. If you have had mochi from Twin Sisters in Hilo, this place comes neck to neck to theirs except that Maui Specialty Chocolates don't have any fresh fruit mochi which is all made up by how delicious the mochis are on Maui. Sorry, no picture as mochi was devoured before the camera came out

They had a promo sign stating "Buy four at $7 each and the fifth one is free-$38.00" so for $$39.60, we got 5 types. They taste nothing like what we sampled. Every single one is awful. The coconut taste like mint, the Maui mud pie is stale, the chocolate taste like perfume...ugh!!! There is a number on the bottom...is this the expiration date? Was is last year? Is it when it was made? Buyer beware! We opened it to slice a sample of each for dessert with a group. Everyone agrees something is "off" with this award winning fudge. Feeling very disappointed and irritated that I'm out $39.60. I should've just put two $20s into the trash, cuz that's where this is going.

Both times, I really really liked their turtle fudge. Unfortunately, they were only selling it in boxed sets and not individually. I just wanted that one flavor! The third time I saw them was when my husband & I were randomly strolling through Front Street in Lahaina. I thought to myself, "That packaging looks really familiar... Oooo, they have sweets. Let's go in!" Sure enough, it was the same company with the turtle fudge AND they were selling them individually. The girl at the counter was really friendly and informative, telling us how the fudge is all made on Maui, how they used to make everything in this tiny Lahaina shop, but now have 2 locations (another one in the Kihei Triangle). In the Kihei location, they also hold their fudge making class, which I've heard about and have been wanting to try. I had no idea it was the same company. It was all coming together! The same girl proudly told us she had samples of every single flavor and happily obliged when we asked for specific flavors. As much as I loved the turtle flavor, I ended up randomly getting the Maui mud pie. Go figure! I "just knew" I would like that flavor and I do! She also gave us a sample of the toffee and I picked up a box as a gift for someone. Both are delicious ~ Actually, all their flavors are good! In addition to fudge & toffee, they also sell taffy and coconut candy. Everything in their little shop is $8.50. $8.50 for one little block of fudge, you say?! YEP. I'll pay for a good product that I want & will enjoy ++ you're supporting local. I've paid less for other fudge on island and most of it goes to waste :( This stuff is legit! They do offer a small kamaaina discount and I was given a rewards card to use for return visits. I definitely recommend them, especially if you are looking for Maui Made goodies to give as a gift or to just enjoy for yourself!

It's definitely more of a convenient store than a restaurant. Everything is to-go only, there is definitely no seating available. Also, if you thought you wanted to eat in your car, don't plan on it, as there is a very explicit sign that says no eating, parking for 5 minutes only. Despite all these particular eating criteria, I enjoyed trying the various pokes! They have at least 10 different to choose from, that it was difficult choosing just two for my husband and I to try. I believe I got the Hawaiian Style, and also the Shoyu style. I liked the Shoyu one a bit better, for more sauciness and soy sauce added to the ahi. I also really liked how this place includes rice (huge win for eating right away!) and in a separate container! Well thought out!! Also credit cards are accepted. Great poke find quite close to the airport. Would recommend if you're starving coming off your flight, want something fast and easy, that you can enjoy instantly.

Their little store is small, but mighty and the service is nothing short of spectacular. What *I think* they're mostly known for is their gift baskets/boxes. When holidays, birthdays, special occasions roll around, Lee Bear is such a great place to find an assortment of goodies for friends and loved ones. Their gift baskets are filled with treats like candies, Maui Cookkwees, gourmet cookies and rice krispies that have been dipped in a rich, decadent chocolate coating; freshly hand-dipped in their store to ensure high quality flavor. My favorite is the white chocolate covered pretzels with rice krispies, marshmallows, etc. SO good. It's the first thing I call dibs on when I see it. Haha! Just recently, I stopped in when my little one suggested we make lollipops. They had a wide selection of molds, gel food coloring, candy thermometer, basically everything and anything we needed. They even sold the white chocolate covered rice krispy treat by the package! It's a bit of a splurge, but I like what I like and will pay for it... lol. When we checked out, the lady (I'm assuming the owner?) asked us if we've made lollipops before and offered up so many tips and hacks. She answered all of our questions and even provided a mini recipe book that she suggested we keep as they don't make them anymore. I was really impressed, but not really surprised, with the quality of their customer service. That's what I love about mom and pop shops and the reason I will continue to support local businesses like these. Next time you decide to make a treat or need a quick, easy gift, you don't have to spend hours shopping for the perfect gift. Stop by the store or order a sweet gift basket from Lee Bear & Co Inc.
