I decided to try the program because my son was starting Kindergarten and I could never wake up early enough and function all day without a nap. I was also dealing with a lot of depression and anxiety that I have always struggled with, but due to a hitting a low in my life, the mental issues were almost unbearable. Today I am thankful for that "low" because it motivated me to take a step forward toward seeking a better life for myself. I went to Calla hoping to have more energy, but what I got out of my weight loss journey was so much more than that! Prior to Calla I had tried many methods to lose weight without much of a budge. Not seeing results quick enough, receiving too much conflicting information regarding weight loss, and a lack of commitment and accountability held me back before Calla. Upon starting the program, making the necessary life and dietary changes was difficult but manageable and I started losing weight at an amazing rate. The first week I lost 8 pounds, and every week thereafter I think I averaged about 4 pounds loss per week! Shortly after I had begun to solidify healthy habits that ensured my success, I also began to notice all of the positive changes that were happening in my life. The reason I started the program was for energy, and mine became explosive! I actually WANTED to start running again (something I had done many years prior) and I was able to get my son to school on time every day. With the progression of the weight loss, it seemed many other positive changes were progressing in my life as well. I started to notice a significant decrease in the depression and anxiety that I had struggled with for many years and as the months went by, I am happy to report that I BARELY feel anxiety and depression now! With the decrease in the anxiety, my social anxiety issues literally WENT AWAY. I used to be scared to talk to people on the phone.. now I can't wait for my next opportunity to go out and meet other people, and I am trying so many new things that I was scared to do before because of my anxiety and lack of energy. I am now a confident person and that has helped me in my personal relations as well as in my career. I used to be passive at work, and as of a few months ago, I forged myself a promotion! Last but certainly not least, I used to not be able to keep up with my 6-year-old son's energy. He was too much for me to handle at times which made me somewhat complacent, but now I think my stamina forgoes his! Calla was absolutely transformational for me. She provided me with so much information regarding my skin and what could help. She targeted more of my rougher areas and the facial felt so good afterwards. I have never had a hydro facial before but seeing the dirt being pulled out of my skin I knew I came to the right place. They offer so many different services and not just hydro facials . It's a bit pricey with their membership prices and drop ins but I totally think it's worth it if you are trying to improve your skin, red light therapy , chemical peels etc and great conversation. Parking can be tricky. The parking lot and garage are paid parking. 4Ever Young does provide via text a coupon code that gives 2 hours of free parking by texting the applicable word to the number provided. Once parked, text the number, access the link, enter the requested information, make sure to put in the code, complete the transaction and start the parking timer. Upon return to the vehicle, the timer must be stop to end the parking. If not, it will charge past the 2 hour window. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. She checked me in and made sure all my paperwork was good. Water and coffee were offered. The lobby waiting area is small and doesn't offer a lot of seating. I was able to get a seat and sat to wait to be called. When it was my turn, Lana didn't just call out, she walked over to where I was sitting and greeted me. I followed her in and we got situated. Lana is amazing! That was the best facial I have ever had. I was so comfortable I almost fell asleep. Lana not only worked magic with her hands but also provided education on specialized skin care. Lana was professional yet personable. 4Ever Young provides, other services to include, hormone replacement therapy, IV vitamin nutrition, vitamin shots, and various skin treatments. They also have membership plans with unique flexibility and options. 4Ever Young accepts Zelle, CashApp, and Venmo. I left 4Ever Young feeling great and glowing. Forgive me if this review is long, but I feel like it's so important. If you're a Cliff's Notes…read moretype, here's the synopsis. It's an amazing plan. I've lost 15 lbs in just over 6 weeks! And I really only have 30 lbs that I want to lose. And yes, I've tried intermittent fasting, counting calories, counting carbs, macros, etc. one of the best things about this program is she tells you what you SHOULD eat, not exactly how many calories you are LIMITED to. AND she gives you the most amazing recipes! If you don't want to have to make food from the recipes she gives you (which have all been SO yummy, you can purchase store snacks like cheese sticks & beef jerky, or there is an entire shop full of meal & snack options for purchase. I'm kind of cheap, so my best friend and I food prep together once a week, and it's great! My favorite meals are jalapeño poppers, white bean chicken chili (great in instant pot or crock pot!), and chia pudding. Oh, and there is this recipe with flank/skirt steak that is AMAZING! Can't think of the name right now. More on what I know about the program - she's a Nurse Practitioner, so she is able to prescribe the injectable medications for people if necessary, and she said your insurance might cover it if you meet the insurance's criteria. But if you want to do it with just the program, it's TOTALLY doable! I kind of think of it like Weight Watchers, but all of the work is done for you! No counting/limiting your calories.
