I saw Saundra earlier this week. It was a very pleasant experience. From the time walking into the front office and making the pleasant Office staff and her adorable dog. Followed my appointment. Sandra had a very calm demeanor, and took the time to get a better understanding of all the issues I was having, she examined my posture and gave me some pointers before starting to work on me. She was incredibly knowledgeable and intentional throughout the session. It gave me a sense that she was very well skilled, versed and educated in the field of Rolfing. After one session, I did feel a difference. read more

My jaw feels so much better already! I can smell better. When I chew my front teeth meet first now instead of my back teeth. I didn't wake up with a headache and stuffy nose today! I can't wait for my 2 hr appt this coming Thursday! read more

Candace is the best. Her technique, and finding the spots that need attention. Quite pricey though, and a bit of a drive for me so not sure if I'll keep the subscription long. Might just come every few months instead. read more

Meegan is wonderful! She understands mindbody alignment, helping with connection, breath work and healing. I highly recommend her!

Local to College Park. Really enjoyed Rolfing with Meegan! Thank you for your service

Meegan has been a God-send for me. I am blown away by her knowledge of the human body and its connections and her ability to explain the how and why of what she's doing. She's calm and compassionate and just who I need during a difficult time. read more

I've been getting trigger point massage from James and wanted to leave a review. He is fantastic. Very kind, caring, professional, and knowledgeable. If you haven't tried trigger point, I would highly recommend it. James has an innate ability to find the spots that need the most work. The relaxation by the end of a session is on another level! The waiting room, restroom, and massage room are always clean and welcoming. I can trust the receptionists to be friendly, efficient, and caring. I don't have any difficulty scheduling appointment times that fit into my busy schedule, either, which is great. read more

Terrible experience. I received a rushed massage and the owner (masseuse) answered 3 phone calls during my massage. Steer clear of this place. read more

If you are looking for a therapeutic massage look no further. Their prices are great. The treatments are professional, integrated to your lifestyle and the membership package is a no brainer. I see James and it's a painful hour but the body finds the peace it deserves when it's all done. Who knew there are so many trigger points in the body?!? I feel my husband and I have barely scratched the surface with Balance Orlando. It has accessible parking, you are in your own private treatment room so privacy and noise is a non-issue. They are so easy to book with and their hours are unbelievable. Sunday evenings??? Unheard of in this industry and they will see you. Thank you Balance Orlando! You have my 5 stars any day! read more

Went for an initial consultation today, and have nothing but great things to say about this place. Worked with Brianna specifically to assist a recent issue in my tricep and shoulder. She took good care in getting as specific as possible, and was able to locate a source of the discomfort. Even though the initial session was 30 minutes, I feel so much relief. Also learned about the array of other services Balance Orlando offers, and am excited to return and try them out! read more

Incredible massage!!! I had a 60 min session with Lucas and am now feeling brand new :) Every step of the process was made simple, as the entire staff was incredibly kind and helpful! Lucas was super knowledgeable and professional, he communicated things I can do to help relieve aches at home and my massage felt tailored to my specific needs. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! read more

The owner, Lu, is SUCH a lovely person, so I wanted to wait a long time to see if my issues would work themselves out before posting a review but, after several months, I still have nerve pain and discomfort in my neck from the massage I received from one of the masseuses. Lu is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly person and when I reached out with my issue she immediately refunded me and set up a private appointment with her to try to work out my neck. I would highly recommend her simply for her conscientiousness and skill--but would also say be very careful who you book with because although I think Balance in general is probably great (just look at the reviews), I think I just got a masseuse who wasn't right for me. So I would definitely be choosy and do your research before just booking with first available. Just a side note--the masseuse who gave my massage was VERY chatty, so also something to perhaps ask about before hand if you're like me and prefer a serene/calm experience when getting a massage. read more

This place is AMAZING! From the front desk to the leaving experience was smooth and welcoming. Leah is an absolute must! If you are in the Orlando/College Park area, you have to go see her. Pressure was perfect, cupping felt great and her voice is so soothing, that I think I dozed off a few times even with the strong yet perfect pressure:) Highly recommended and ask for Leah! read more

As a busy working mother that is expecting, I was looking forward to a relaxing massage. When I arrived the front desk woman was nice but the ambiance in the massage room was horrible. The room was bright and there was no music and all you could hear was the traffic and people talking outside. It's a busy street, I was so annoyed. When I commented on the loud traffic and noise from outside I was asked to play music on my phone if I wanted as her phone wasn't connecting to her speaker. My battery was flat but they should have made sure to fix it or find another alternative. I feel bad that my husband wasted money on the service I received. I was excited when I got there and frustrated when I left. I do not recommend this place. read more

Balance Orlando is amazing. James is a gifted, caring, therapist who clearly knows his craft. His healing hands and advanced knowledge resolved my painful, immovable shoulder in just one treatment. I could not believe that just a single treatment could produce such wonderful results. I have since been back for a second, follow up treatment with James and he added some beneficial Reflexology to my therapy which also delivered immediate relief and healing. By the way, I am 92 and would not hesitate to recommend James at Orlando Balance to anyone who needs his healing touch. Margaret read more

Holy Moly by all that is massage! Emily is an AMAZING AMAZING therapist. She has powerful and healing hands and is so sweet and super well rounded in deep tissue massage therapy!! When she kneads your muscles, trust me that you have never felt pain as pleasurable! Don't take my word for it - just book a new client session and experience her awesomeness for yourself!! Okay, so I was introduced to Balance over a year ago as I had them do chair massages at an event of mine and everyone loved them. I, unfortunately, did not get to experience them during the event but kept in touch and realized how integrated they were in the community. I hosted a Yelp CMYE at their location in Dec and finally got a taste of the chair massage by Tony, it was FAB! We also got a tour of their facilities in College Park along with an intro to acupuncture. I never received acupuncture before so it intrigued me and after the sample ear test I left there with my first appointment scheduled! I headed back to see Michelle for my very first, official acupuncture treatment. Michelle is so warming, welcoming and calm that you just want to hug her. We chatted about my history and problem areas and she had me lay down on their heated, automatic table and she went to work on my front and back. There is calming music as well so even though you may not feel the calming effects immediately like you do during a massage, this is your down time with yourself while you relax and let the acupuncture do it's work. My first problem area we really focused on was my lower back as I deeply bruised my butt bone years ago and now when I sit for a long time on a plane or in the movies, it starts to ache. A week after my first treatment, I was on a plane home to PA and back and neither flight was a bother... WHAT?!!? AMAZING! So I went back and we worked on my right arm that gives me issues and literally since I have left... no pain! We also are paying attention to my head and neck since I hold all my tension in there but I am also trying a new diet which is not really helping with my headaches so those results will probably take a few more sessions. Overall... amazing and I can't wait to go again, Michelle is a magic worker! I also had my first hour massage yesterday from Sarah. She is so sweet and calming as well, I wonder if they pump calming serum into the air ducts there =) We focused on my head, neck, shoulders and sciatic nerves. She went pretty deep and it was painful in such an amazing way that I literally had to stop myself from drooling. My shoulders feel good today but no pain so that is a plus. My neck is still tight but I need a LOT of work on that area =) Overall, this place delivers!! Yes, you are paying for something well above your "Massage Envy" experiences, you are paying for treatment and bodywork, not just a massage. Don't expect a spa type place here either, they are more on the treatment side and each room is separate from each other which helps with relaxing. Huge shoutout to Deb and the entire staff... keep up the great work and community love! read more

I so wanted to love this!! I haven't had a massage for over a year and was really excited and in dire need. My masseuse, Lesliayn was very very nice, but I left still in pain and disappointed. My husband chose this spot for me because they specialize in prenatal massage and have such high reviews. First turn off is the location set up, having an outside bathroom is incredibly inconvenient for a pregnant lady and made it impossible to sneak away for a quick potty break like I have at other places using a robe or towel. The massage rooms do face the parking lot and you can hear traffic. The setup was very clinical, the sunlight came in a lot leading to a bright room. No diffusers or scents. No candles. No relaxed feeling. It was more like a medical office. Maybe we misunderstood each other about the massage, because it started so great. But again it was so clinical and barely any lotion used, so it felt like dry rubbing my skin. She really focused on my pain areas, but I said I was really hoping for a whole body relaxation massage. She went so slow and dry that my feet, hands, right arm, neck and craniofacial muscles were never even touched and those are my favorite parts of massage!! When she said ok I hope you have some relief I was so sad, we hadn't even gotten to the good parts. And pregnant ladies NEED their hands and feet cared for. I wish I had not even mentioned my pain so I could have at least gotten a whole body massage. And unfortunately I am at home sitting on a heat pack still in pain. Overall. I am sad and disappointed, and will be begging my husband to rub my feet tonight after he just spent this money to surprise me. read more

Professional, on time and clean. The treatment rooms are not fancy but effective. I used to suffer from tension headaches and chronic migraines. I started seeing several different therapists here and I am happy I did. My body feels better and I rarely get headaches. I was a licensed massage therapist for 19 years and practiced for 15 of those. Over the years I worked in most every aspect. I had my own private practice, I worked in the chiropractic industry, I supervised the staff at a large resort Hotel spa and I taught at a massage school. I also have a lot of issues after that many years of doing bodywork. In all that time I never had structural integration/ rolfing work done but I always had it in the back of my mind that someday I really wanted to receive this work because I thought it would be really beneficial. But I'll be honest - I'm picky. I struggle to find therapists who know their stuff and afford me the opportunity to take off my LMT hat and just receive. Amen and hallelujah, Lu is my girl! I went in yesterday for just an introductory consultation appointment. Two day before that, totally unrelated to the issues I was having when I made the appointment, my left shoulder became so painful I couldn't raise my arm. Having fairly recently finally recovered from a frozen shoulder episode on that side which took close to a year and a half, I was devastated to think that I might be heading right back down that path again. Seriously I couldn't move my arm. I needed help getting my shirt off. I hadn't slept well in several days because I couldn't get comfortable. I was worried I had done some real damage to my rotator cuff and did not go into this appointment thinking that there was anything she could do to help me in that regard. In fact I was pretty bummed that I may not get much out of my session with such an acute and painful distraction. So I'll cut to the chase. Lu worked on me as part of the initial introductory appointment. I was surprised actually by how not painful the work was given all the issues I have and I really felt a difference when I got up. But my shoulder was still really painful and I still couldn't lift my arm. When I went to bed it was still the same. When I woke up this morning it was as if it never happened. I had full range of motion back and barely any discomfort at all. Nothing. Can you see that? It's me waving hello from across the room, with my arm in the air. In all my years in this industry getting bodywork, taking workshops, and studying with different teachers I have never had a response like this to work before. Never. I can't speak to whether or not she followed a specific protocol. This was my first Rolfing experience ever. But whether it was to the letter protocol or her own interpretation of what needed to be done based on what was going on with me I don't care because what I do know is I walked in yesterday unable to raise my arm and with tears in my eyes from the pain and today it's all gone. Will I recommend her to anyone and everyone who will listen? You bet. Will I be back on her doorstep next week to begin a full series? Sure will. Did I find anything about how she worked on me or approached my problems to be unprofessional, aggressive or painful? No. The few times she worked an area at or near the limit of my tolerance I told her and she made adjustments. She listened, she was caring and knowledgable. I keep raising my arm to make sure it's still OK. It is! So.Blown.Away. read more

Tony was very helpful and knowledgeable on my situation. I felt much better after, I will definitely be back!

I met them at yelp's bohemian bash this week :), and I'm so happy I did! I have never received an actual massage before (and I had preconceptions about massages in the beginning) so I am happy I bursted my massage cherry with them. I had a 5 minute back massage with Lu, and it was AMAZING, way better than my fiance (oops lol). She was very easy to talk to, and she was in the massage business for 15 years already. I thought massages were very painful, but I was wrong! Once the massage started...I just wanted to sleep in peace and hoped that the massage never ended..but it sadly did :(. I felt very relaxed after! Overall, they are very professional, if something hurts, just let them know and they will adjust! I am not a fan of getting frequent professional massages, but whenever that time comes, I'll remember them :)! read more

Massages are great for relaxation but I am going to Balance Orlando for pain management. I'm not sure why but I've been experiencing pain in my lower back recently. I have had two massages with Tony and have walked away with that pain virtually gone. I really appreciate how Tony takes time to ask me what is going on with me before we get started. He REALLY LISTENS because he actually focuses on the areas that I have asked for, even if it's something out of the ordinary, like my face (I have a neuromuscular disease where my facial muscles get fatigued called Myasthenia Gravis). I also appreciate the excellent customer service. When I call to make an appointment, I have a reminder in my inbox before I get off of the phone. I'm trying to figure out a way to schedule a massage monthly (budget wise/ time wise) so that I am managing my pain before it happens rather than retroactively. read more

Professional, friendly and the massage was just what I needed. I had received a chair massage several times at different events from the therapists at Balance and enjoyed every minute, I made an appointment for a one hour treatment after having some back cramping and issues with hips since taking up jogging. From the start of the appointment to the end, the Balance staff made me feel completely comfortable and taken care of. My therapist (Mimi) gave me great feedback after the session to help me improve my issues. 100% recommend and will be returning! read more

Ahhhhhh.... I was a massage virgin. I'd gotten a couple freebie chair massages from time to time but not a full hour long extravaganza. Balance focuses more on "medical" massage so it's not the traditional relaxation massages you see on tv. Even though they have a "medical" focus, they aren't doctors and they stress that. But they have studied the body and how it works. They use massage techniques to make it work better. Before your massage, we had a brief consultation to discuss my problem areas. I've got some low back issues and numbness in my feet. He spent the majority of the time working with my feet, ankles and legs. Then we did a little lower back work. Then relieved some tension in my neck/shoulders. When I left, the only word to described how I felt was "ahhhh." My feet felt better. My lower back didn't hurt for like a full day. And my shoulders felt so relaxed and lightweight. Not too bad for one session. read more

I was recommended to visit Balance Orlando by a prior customer of theirs. I am a severe case. Lower back pain and severe stiffness in legs as well. I use a walker to get around now. Doctors (9 specialists in total) can not find the cause. My first 30 min appointment was yesterday and had Sarah as my therapist. She was so kind and got right to the point. She gave me a lymphatic drainage of the spine (which I have never heard of). NOBODY has worked in my spine like she did. I am feeling a bit of pressure relief in my lower extremities. A relief I haven't felt in months. I am looking forward to continue with Sarah for my weekly 60 min sessions I set up. More doctors should know about this treatment. Spread the word. Balance Orlando ... I recommend them to everyone. Thank you again read more

I had some agonizing pain in my neck and shoulders from stress and sleeping funny. I needed something/someone to help. My Frankenstein neck would not do. I did some research and came across Balance Orlando. I read the review on Yelp and I booked an appointment within 15 minutes. Now typically I am cautious to book massages because I have had some experiences that I felt were a waste of time. But the reviews on Yelp really help me take the leap. I read the bios provided on Balance Orlando's website and all sounded good, so my next concern was how soon I could book the appointment. Luckily I was able to book that night, right after work. My consultation was with Emily and it was amazing. She took the time to understand what my issue/concern was and discussed how it may have developed. She seemed to really understand how the body works; which I truly appreciate. After a short assessment she began to massage. By the end of the 45mins/30mins I was completely changed. My neck and shoulders were back! I was able to move and feel comfortable again. It was amazing. Now days later, still feeling great! I had a follow up appointment to address additional muscle stresses in my back and again I feel amazing. Emily was professional and really in- tune to what my body was saying. Unlike other locations I didn't feel pressured to purchase a package for 'relaxation'. This was massage therapy and what my body needed. I had a great experience! I will recommend to friends and look forward to going again! read more

I started going to Balance about 6 months ago and I'm happy to say that this is a place where you can go to get REAL help for body aches and pain. Lu is brilliant, I believe she knows more about the human body than most MDs and she genuinely cares about helping you how you need to be helped. Tony is AMAZING!!! Seriously, he knows what he's doing to alleviate pain in your body through massage/bodywork. If you are looking for results, Tony will really listen and I appreciate that he communicates well throughout the session to make sure he's getting to the right spots and/or adjust as necessary. I always leave felling great! Today I went for my first instructional Yoga workshop with Candice & Lu, which just made me even more of a believer in Balance. Candice was awesome, very sincere and she really knows her yoga! Both Candice & Lu were very attentive, walking around adjusting poses and making sure each person was getting the maximum benefit from their experience. Most places say that they will adjust while instructing but they never do. All-in-all, Balance Orlando is an extraordinary place with amazing people who are real experts at delivering results and I gladly give them my highest recommendation. read more
