Stop looking! Seriously, if you're looking for a deep tissue massage that leaves you lasting benefits, no need to look any further. I'm always a little weary when looking for a massage because I have a little obsession for the study of anatomy and physiology. I know what's just for show, and what will actually get the job done. I'm also weary of getting a massage done by someone of the opposite sex, especially when I've never met them in my life. However, every question or concern I may have had was completely destroyed by the end of my session. Karl made sure to ask me where I was having pain and did not finish until my pain was lessened. I left there thinking that I had a pretty good massage but it wasn't till days later that I noticed my headaches were becoming less and less frequent. If you're nervous or tired of searching for something that actually works, please come to see Karl at iMassage, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Karl! See you soon. read more

So glad my friend recommended Karl. He's very knowledgeable. I had back pain and could barely walk. He used a machine I had never heard and loosened all the tightness in my hips. Felt so much better after. Was a great experience! read more

I went in expecting just a simple massage to clear up some soreness I've been experiencing from working out and Karl made sure I was taken care of in the best and the most professional manner. I had wrist pain and he did WONDERS. My pain went from severe to minor thanks to his work. I will keep reffering people to this place to work with Karl exclusively as he was one of the most professional and knowledgeable therapist I've ever met. 10/10! read more

I am writing this review much to my chagrin - Karl may be a great masseuse, but he is a bad business person. I am experiencing back pain due to an injury and booked a massage with Karl based on Yelp reviews. The night before my appointment he text me to say he was no longer available and I would meet instead with Austin (for which there are no reviews). I asked if I could reschedule to a date/time when he had availability and he obliged. I took time off work, arrived for my new appointment and was told that my appointment would be with someone else *and* not for the time I scheduled. I understand mistakes happen, but twice in a row is just poor business practice. I took time off work and then was told my appointment time was changed (without notice). Karl failed to honor any of my appointments, and instead pulled a bait-and-switch and booked me with another masseuse (again, without notice). I would not recommend him nor will I return despite his offer of a future free massage. Evidently he is not a person of his word. read more

Visited Orlando and set my parents up with a massage with Karl and his colleague. They said they have never felt more relaxed. Karl was so kind and took such great care of my parents during a stressful time and I couldn't be more thankful he was able to accommodate both of them on such a short notice. Thank you so much! read more

Karl is the best. He's the nicest human being ever. He's also fantastic at what he does. I've come to visit him with plantar fasciitis, shin splits, tight shoulders, hurt knee (I'm a marathoner) and Karl has taken great care of me. I've been going there five years. He's great at massages but also really helps with the stretching. Got to appreciate a local business like iMassage! Can't recommend him enough. read more

It's very rare I meet a therapist who can handle my knotty neck & shoulders. New to the Orlando area, a friend recommended Karl with iMassage! Absolutely fantastic & I feel like a million bucks! I Massage Orlando - Massage Near Me - Orlando, Florida

I had a really great experience with Karl. I emailed him on Thanksgiving asking if he could possibly squeeze me in within the next day or two. He emailed me back within hours and made it work - I saw him the very next day! (Responsiveness: GOLD STAR!). He has a parking spot on his property for his clients to use, which is great since he's in a slightly congested downtown area. His facility is cozy and very clean. He used lotion, not oil, which I like - I don't like feeling greasy at the end of a massage. The massage itself was great. I have lower back issues and need very strong pressure to relax the muscles down there. Karl literally got up on the table and used his knees to get in there - it was AWESOME. I've had people use elbows before, but not knees. He also did a really great combination massage / stretching routine for pain in the muscles where my tush joins my back, and for my IT bands. So - overall - I had a great experience and I'll definitely use him again. He was responsive, professional, personable, and I felt like a nice limp pretzel when he was done. Good stuff! read more

Karl is the most gifted LMT i have known. He works vigorously and doesn't hold back. I had a deep adhesion in my hip and its 90% gone in one session. & i thought it was OA. Please don't buy Groupon this man is worth every full retail dollar you pay him & bless him with great karma and your support. read more

I love Karl. I am not the type of person who enjoys massages (I know, it's weird). I can't really explain it, but I tense up as soon as someone touches my shoulders and back. It's like a nervous reaction. Anyway, I purchased a gift certificate for my boyfriend to get an athletic massage after meeting Karl at the Art and Wine Walk in Thornton Park. At the time of my purchase, I also had some lower back pain re-emerge from a car accident I had a couple of years ago and figured, why not give this a shot. I explained to Karl how I was about "people touching my back". We both laughed, but he totally understood what I meant and helped me realize that I was not crazy and that a lot of people have the same reaction to back massages. After explaining that, he immediately knew the perfect way to introduce me to massages. He did an aroma therapy session and made me feel very relaxed. He totally knows how to cater to your comfort and needs. My boyfriend had an awesome experience too. He's hardcore with his massages; preferring athletic and deep tissue massages. We found out after, that Karl was actually an Athletic Training for the Washington Nationals. So, my boyfriend got a professional athletic massage. He even did some athletic stretches for him. He's an amazing person overall, and that just translates into his work. If you're looking for a masseur, and trying to steer away from chain massage places, then look no further. read more

I Massage Orlando - Back to back "couples" messages. Finally using the Christmas gift I got him. - Massage Near Me - Orlando, Florida

I have never been happier with the treatment I received at I Massage from Karl. Karl is very experienced and passionate about what he does. He took the time to understand my physical issues and what I was looking for a a result from the 90 min Upper body and neck treatment. Karl was able to pin point my pain and worked throughly on the area using different techniques. Before the treatment I had not been able to raise my left arm anywhere above my shoulder and after the massage I was able to have full range of motion back. I was blown away! I took my time to research which facilities do more treatment massages as opposed to just relaxation and I am so happy to have found the best place in Orlando! read more

It was my first appointment with Karl and I was looking to pamper myself to something extra. I asked about his aromatherapy option but he suggested a salt scrub instead. He said not many people ask for it but encouraged me to try it. It was amazing! From the instant his hands touched my back I could tell I was going to thoroughly enjoy it and I did. I believe it was a mix of salt and oils which he used to skillfully exfoliate my body. I then was able to rinse off and resume with a massage. The difference between the scrub and the massage was unbelievable. It seemed like my skin was fresh and new and allowed his hands to glide across my muscles. In fact, my skin felt great for the next few days. I can't believe more people haven't tried this. I'm definitely doing this again soon! read more

This was my first experience getting a message. (Thanks to T and R for the gift certificate!!!) First, Karl's space is perfectly located in Thornton Park steps away from Dexter's. His studio is small, warm and relaxing, Not cold or clinical. Karl was thoughtful with my comfort, explained the process and shared details of the massage while answering questions about his experience and expertise. During the very relaxing hour, I keep thinking OMG this is awesome and what will be my favorite moments? The quaint atmosphere, The Compression points, the back, foot and hand massage or maybe the hot towels? As you can tell I enjoyed the experience. If you are a newbie or experienced at getting massages I think you will enjoy Karl and I-Massage Orlando. Ok, If I have have to give one area of opportunity. The space is small, 2 little rooms and small office area. You will fill out your paperwork sitting on the front porch on comfortable furniture. To me, not a problem, just stop by Starbucks (right around the corner)and enjoy checking out the neighborhood. read more

Amazing. Karl is amazing. I've had many massages at different locations and always walked out completely unsatisfied. However, I'll say it again, Karl is amazing. Karl is the massage therapist that other massage therapists go to when they want it done right. Karl is a master of his craft and knows exactly what he's doing. I had tremendous tension in my shoulders, upper back, neck, and scalp. You know, the usual. And I walked out after 90 minutes feeling like a new person. Literally. Every area thorough addressed. I felt like I was actually being healed. And then we worked out the knots in my lower body in a separate session and my lower back pain has virtually disappeared. Please, if you are considering getting a massage, do yourself a favor and get a massage with Karl. read more

Being a former massage therapist, I often find it less than relaxing during a massage, as I tend to overthink what's happening/going to happen. With Karl, I was actually able to relax the first time, and felt results the next day. Upon walking into the office, I was at ease which carried on throughout the session. I plan to continue going to Karl and get more specific work done, namely running related problems. read more

Karl was AMAZING! I had just come off a 10hr plane ride w/ 2 kids & my body was a wreck. For 90 minutes I received the best massage. He pin pointed what specific muscles were tight & why (keyboard at work, etc...), and gave me tips to correct them. Even though this was my first time meeting him, he immediately made me feel comfortable w/ his professionalism . I highly recommend Karl, I'm looking forward to my next appt already. read more

Karl is by far the most knowledgable masseur I've ever been to. I've had upper back/shoulder/neck pain for forever since I am an artist and am bent over a desk most of my day. Karl took his knowledge of sports medicine, and now that I've walked out of his studio I feel better than I have in years. Absolutely incredible. More like physical therapy for me than a "relaxing" massage, but let me assure you, you will leave feeling absolutely amazing. I finally have confidence that someone can help fix my back holistically! read more

I FEEL AMAZING AFTER an iMassage Orlando session!!! I've been experiencing severe pain in my left side-neck and shoulder- for about 10 days now probably from not holding up my head correctly during certain exercises. These last ten days i've been adjusted by the chiropractor- no relief. I had two sessions of acupuncture- no relief. The second one, brought some, but still had no full range of motion and couldn't even go running. I tried a massage- nothing. I knew it was bad when my boss noticed my eyes, "you aren't sleeping are you?" I told her of my pain. She recommended an upper back and neck session coupled with a BEMER session. I was desperate, and so I agreed!!! People, I tell you, go visit iMassage Orlando in Thornton Park!!!! It was unlike any other massage i have ever experienced. It was not your typical get doused with a bunch of oil and have your body kneaded like pizza dough. They really target your muscles to work out whatever needs it. I not only walked away pain free, but with a wealth of knowledge from Karl about posture, stance, and more!!! I can't wait for another session there- and with the Aromatouch addition! read more

Go here. Karl is EXCELLENT. He listens to what you want to work on and he focuses on those areas. (Seems like a given, but many masseuses just go through their usual routine!) Karl is incredible, and draws from a wealth of experience. He used a range of techniques to treat specific issues with the best method. He treated my tight psoas with care. He took the time to ask questions and discuss my general posture and how that affects my shoulders. I feel like I made an investment in my body and myself by seeing Karl. He has my highest recommendation!! read more
