The price for the lessons was fairly inexpensive so I would go back for another class. One thing to note is that you constantly switch partners. If you go without one it's great because you don't get stuck with anyone but when you go as a couple, it's a bit irritating when you don't get to dance together as much.

For the most part feet don't matter which takes out half the complexity of dancing. Guys are told not to even learn any moves until the 3rd class and then work on getting just one down. You can use this dancing at any wedding or social dancing place and fit in with the current music. There is a focus on how to lead and how to follow (missing from a lot of dance studios) and this is enforced by the constant moving of partners around the room. My guy has some issues being taught to dance (just loves it) and in this class he's found a style that seems to work for him. Short of having private lessons, this is the best he's gotten in a class by far and he's liking it more than the more formalized dance classes we've tested out. Prices aren't bad - $10 a week and that includes one or both of their lessons that week. As a female, I find this place fun but I would highly recommend this to guys looking to learn some basic dance moves because I really think this class is being sold to men who want to enjoy dancing without getting too technical.

You have to give a huge pat on the back to anyone who can teach 10 3 & 4 year olds a full dance rountine that looks so great and so well put together. My 7 year old daughter takes 5 weekly dance classes, is on thier Dance Team and their Competitve team. She loves every second of it and wants to take even more classes next year. There are so many things that I love about this studio but one of the biggest highlights for me is that they are a smaller studio and it starts to feel more like family then just another business trying to make a buck. The instructors know the names of all of their dancers when they walk in the door and actually care about them as a person, just not another costumer. They also have smaller class sizes which means more 1:1 instruction for the dancers. They instructors are so creative and their cherography is new, fresh and different. Soon after we bought the voucher I became paralysed from the waist down for nearly 6months, soon after starting recovery. Once I was fully recovered and able to begin moving freely again we decided to use the voucher only to see that it was expiring in a few weeks. We called the studio to see if they would extend it and get into some classes, briefly told them of the circumstances and they very rudely shut us down and basically told us "Tough Luck" in more words than not. Tough luck ... well its very cold, rude and heartless. We had so much to deal with in that time and dancing would have lifted our spirits so much but unfortunately they were too close minded and heartless to help us out. Its a shame too, my husband and I would have loved to have something like this to do on a regular basis and would have been loyal customers...

I've carried on as a student with Pole Junkies and will soon be completing Level 6 of pole fitness…read more I think I've gained about 5lbs in muscle and am really proud to be able to physically handle the progression through the classes. Monika, who has been my instructor for at least the past 3 levels, is great. She's practical, provides good feedback and is an intriguing person, which makes me appreciate her as a teacher. I attended the 4th Annual International Pole Camp this year, which is hosted by Pole Junkies. I'm not sure that I would spend the money on it again unless some improvements are made, but there's no doubt that I acquired some good info, met some cool and extremely talented women who traveled long distances and am really happy to have a manual that includes helpful information and reminders addressing safety and injury management. Those who know me are well aware that I've had to deal with injuries numerous times already. Based on what I've heard from students about their experiences with other schools, Pole Junkies stands out from the competitor in terms of progression of skills and ensuring proper body alignment with all techniques. If I manage to continue pole fitness without completely breaking myself (you learn a lot about what your body can handle and where you have issues), I hope to demonstrate as an advanced student by mid next year and wouldn't go anywhere else for my training. 25/30 for Yelp's 30 Day Challenge

My daughter always talks about Miss Jessica when we aren't at dance. She has really created a great relationship with the little ones. The only item that we were awaiting to hear about were exams; ballet. I'm unsure if they decided to pursue it but our understanding last year was that they were awaiting to see interest in having the exam option. Our daughter has suffered a serious knee injury (unrelated to dance) and must wait for healing to dance again. We highly recommend this studio for all ages.
