I asked if I could come at a different time same day and didn't get a response until the next day. I missed two appointments and paid the missed appointment fees without issue because I respected your time and wanted to continue working with you. The situation changed when I had difficulty reaching you to book appointments and felt I was being ignored. Later, I was told I had missed four appointments. I acknowledged the two appointments I knew about and paid for, but I asked for records or proof of the other two because I could not find any confirmation or record of them. I was willing to pay any outstanding fees if they could be verified. What has been most upsetting is that I paid approximately $600 for hair and services that were never provided. In February, I was told the hair would be mailed to me, but as of June I still have not received it. some personal experience I would not recommend her or if you're thinking of going to her don't I'm not posting this to attack anyone. I simply want the hair that I paid for, or a resolution to this situation. If you are willing to send the hair as promised, I would appreciate it.

My daughter had not had a haircut for over a year and she was begging me for a haircut one Sunday. Melissa does not normally work on Sunday, but she just happened to be in the salon doing a friend's hair when I called, and she agreed to see us. She did a lovely job on my daughter's hair, giving her perfectly textured layers and side bangs. We have gone to Gene Juarez for the last two years, getting overpriced haircuts. Having been disappointed my last few visits, I decided to try and find a stylist with reasonable prices,thinking that I would have to sacrifice in quality. Well, my daughter and I both got beautiful cuts for only 18 dollars each and we are extremely pleased. We really appreciate the fact that Melissa was willing to see us on her day off, and that she provided great service for a reasonable price. We will definitely be back. I made an appt for a balayage & a cut, when I went in Erin asked me what I was thinking today. Well, obviously a balayage. I explained the cut, very simple with trim, slight layers, & long blended curtain bangs. I showed her some pics of the way I wanted the balayage to look, coppery highlights. She started putting in the lightener with foils, so ok, I guess this is a foilyage. She didn't mention beforehand. No big, I'll go with it. Figure she's the expert, & she's said foils will help my dark hair lighten. After, we were talking, & she forgot to show me with a mirror. I look in the mirror at home & realize I can barely see any lightened areas or layers. Bangs are uneven. I text her, no response. Text again a week later, she responds, says she didn't see my text. I keep asking if it's ok to lighten again so soon. I go in to fix a couple weeks later, show 2 pics. Color & style of balayage very specific. She says she'll take the color up higher & do a root tap. I'm not a cosmetologist, what is that? She started foiling (again, she didn't ask & I've been saying balayage since the beginning, the pics are balayage) up to my roots! I ask about her switching up the technique, she says that doesn't matter. wth? Now I know this isn't going to be good, but when it's done...Ahhh! Bright orange!! Bleached my precious baby hairs! And I need dark around my hairline cuz of my coloring. Been trying to resolve this with her, she tells me we need to part ways. She RUINED my hair, & it's damaged & falling out. I'd NEVER go back.
