I also love at Great Clips that they know what haircut you got last time, so the first question they always ask is "Do you want the # 1 on the sides and # 3 on top" (or whatever you got last time.) It is an efficient process and better than anywhere else in town. I'm a local and have gone to this Great Clips at least 20 times over the past 4 years or so. For dudes, it's a $14 haircut plus tip. Certainly worth it. Of course, you typically get a different stylist every time you go, but that stylist still asks that same question - "same as last time?" Initially, I had my appointment scheduled for Wednesday March 13th with Bre. I was then told I could come back Friday March 15th. I thought it would be with Bre but it was with Laurel instead. I showed her a picture of what I was wanting and stated that I wanted to use the same dark brown Bre used the last time and go lighter on the blonde. She said ok and went to mix the dye. She came back with just highlight and I asked about the brown. Without checking the color she said she knew she needed to get the brown and went to mix the brown. After applying color I realized she did not color all of my hair. Only the top portion was colored. She left the bottom half of my hair alone. Once completed I went to my car and realized there is hair above my right eye that did not get colored at all (making me look like I have a receding hairline) and the top was patchy. I went back in and showed her the patches and explained the entire top should have been the dark brown I previously got from Bre and there should not be any patches of blonde or highlights on the top. She said ok we will get this corrected. She said she understood that the top was to ALL be dark and highlights were not to be near the top of my head. I also told her the color I got last was a mix of two colors to get the dark brown. She said she used that but it didn't come out the same as when Bre did it. So she said she'd use a darker color. Once done again she did not dye all of the top and left highlights throughout the top. When I said it's still splotchy and still has highlights she responded with usually a balayage has highlights all over. This is not anything close to what I showed her. I am not happy that I have to go to work looking like this. This is embarrassing and unacceptable that I wasted my time to show up only to be turned away and come back two days later to waste almost 4 hours of my day to look worse than I did when I came in.
