I got to take a quick tour of all of the business, but I was at Nashville Wellness for a halotherapy session at Happy Hour Health. Halotherapy is also known as salt therapy. Basically, you are in a room filled with Himalayan salt, with aerosol salt sprayed into the air every so often. You just sit back in a chair (or in the case of this place, in a hammock) and breathe in the salty air. It sounds a little bizarre, but it's all very relaxing! It's so relaxing that I almost fell asleep multiple times during my 30-minute session. The salt room was extremely clean, and one way that they keep it clean is that they make you take off your shoes and give you special socks to put on before you step inside. The salt room is also nicely lit, with glowing salt lamps and twinkle lights. The hammocks are comfy and big enough that you can really get in them and relax, with pillows to hug or rest your head on. This is a great place to visit to recharge while you're in Nashville. Some of the other services offered at Nashville Wellness include massage therapy, reiki, facials, naturopathic services and other modalities to help you on your wellness journey.
