Very sad I think, she posted a picture of my hair before, and what I found funny( not necessarily ha, ha) but any woman who wakes up of the morning with hairspray and gel in their hair with no heat curls (google no heat curls) if you haven't heard of them, no damage is done to the hair it's self, but brushes it out before going to a hair appointment is going to look frizzy and even dry. Theresa didn't cut my hair after coloring it. She used no foil or cap to get the results I asked for. The lighting in her salon due too outside overcast and bad lighting I could not see the back of my hair to see it clearly, but when I got home I went down to my sisters house, Deana Stater my aunt Betty and aunt Sandy were also there they are both hair beauticians (retired), but when they asked me how much I paid they all told me I got took! Deana called Theresa, posing as a wanna be customer, describing my hair type and length as well as what I wanted done. Theresa gave Deana a quote of up to 100.00. I called Theresa back simply asking why she charged me $160.00, she gave a couple of excuses or reasons like she charged me by the hour... which both of my aunts laughed when they heard her say this and commented " that Hairstylist don't charge by the hour" this was something that they never heard of in their profession. when I told her that my sister was the one who had just called she started raising her voice at me then screamed "I don't give a fuck" then hung up on me, I tried calling back, but she wouldn't answer. I not once yelled, or cursed at her, not once! But she felt the need to block me on FB and Messenger. I later seen what she posted on her Business website after I gave her a bad review. I believe she hurt herself more on a business level than she did trying to hurt me or my feelings. She'll never get any business from me or my family ever again. Initially, I had my appointment scheduled for Wednesday March 13th with Bre. I showed up to my…read moreappointment to be told I should have received a voicemail letting me know Bre needed to reschedule. I did not receive a call or voicemail at all. I was then told I could come back Friday March 15th. I thought it would be with Bre but it was with Laurel instead. I showed her a picture of what I was wanting and stated that I wanted to use the same dark brown Bre used the last time and go lighter on the blonde. She said ok and went to mix the dye. She came back with just highlight and I asked about the brown. Without checking the color she said she knew she needed to get the brown and went to mix the brown. After applying color I realized she did not color all of my hair. Only the top portion was colored. She left the bottom half of my hair alone. Once completed I went to my car and realized there is hair above my right eye that did not get colored at all (making me look like I have a receding hairline) and the top was patchy. I went back in and showed her the patches and explained the entire top should have been the dark brown I previously got from Bre and there should not be any patches of blonde or highlights on the top. She said ok we will get this corrected. She said she understood that the top was to ALL be dark and highlights were not to be near the top of my head. I also told her the color I got last was a mix of two colors to get the dark brown. She said she used that but it didn't come out the same as when Bre did it. So she said she'd use a darker color. Once done again she did not dye all of the top and left highlights throughout the top. When I said it's still splotchy and still has highlights she responded with usually a balayage has highlights all over. This is not anything close to what I showed her. I am not happy that I have to go to work looking like this. This is embarrassing and unacceptable that I wasted my time to show up only to be turned away and come back two days later to waste almost 4 hours of my day to look worse than I did when I came in.
