Okay. If you have ever moved a few cities away you know you have 2 options. Drive over an hour to your old nail salon, OR go through the horrid process of finding a new nail salon. :( I've tried 3 other salons in Columbus and they have been bad, meh and awful. I walked in around 5:45pm to a full and bustling salon. Wrote my name down, picked my color and sat in their surprisingly spacious waiting room. Less than 10 minutes later, I was moved to a chair and Nancy started my pedicure! I normally prefer when men do it because they are more rough and massage more aggressive LOL I'm on my feet for at least 15 hours everyday. She was strong, capable and thorough! I actually fell asleep a couple times. I loved my color, the chairs were large and comfy, and Nancy was great. Planning on making this my new home salon and bringing all 6 of my sisters and mom with me! read more

First of all love this place and have been going for awhile but I just had the worst experience at a nail salon ever here. I will usually get a simple no chip manicure prior to a photo shoot, either French tip or some kind of nude pink just so it looks clean, and let it grow out in between or remove the polish myself. This is one of those times I had just let it grow out. The nail tech ground off all the polish then had me stick my nails in acetone, which kind of defeats the purpose of acetone because you just take off the initial layer so that the acetone can penetrate the polish making it easier to remove. Then she continues to grind down my natural nails to next to nothing and nics my cuticles with the drill multiple times so that I'm bleeding. I was in pain, pissed, and after she ignored me when I asked her to stop using the drill to file down my nails I had enough and said I didn't want polish paid and left. Now my nails are brittle and growing in weird. I know beauty is pain but not this much pain. Told her multiple times "that hurts" but I wasn't sure if she didn't understand me or was just ignoring me read more

I've given them every chance to get things right. I've taken my friends in, a wedding party, etc. They just don't seem to appreciate the client. They have the skills to do a great job but seem to always RUSH! Charge more for fees when using a credit card than they have to pay...which is not legal. I had one of the best fills ever. Maybe it was the owner guy? First chair on the left. He was so fast and seemed so experienced. It was a nice thin fill, not thick and clunky like I've had at other places. Perfect shaping and perfect painting. My pedicure was nice. so I always come here to get my nails done, but this time was so much different. I always go to Danny to get my nails done but he wasn't there. So this lady started doing my nails was putting on the plastic for acrylic nails down sideways I was like OK I'll trust the process positive. She didn't even try to get them straight and look and you say so I was like OK maybe she'll fix it after she puts the acrylic on. With that being said, I still have black nail polish from my last set and my nails are crooked. he also filed down all of my nails, so I barely have any fake nail left. Id been going here for a while. The last two times having my fill and gel polish, the polish started chipping within a week. I didnt complain the first time. But when it happened again I went in and asked them to fix it. First they were not going to do all of them. But like i said would not be even. So they did. I had to file the chipped ones because they were so bad and I work in customer service so yes they had to replace those. Then they told me it was $25! What um no. I had to argue with them that i wouldnt have been there 7 days later if they had done it right. They told me I should not have filed and come in to have fixed. Looking for a nail salon that was open on a Sunday, I came across Venus Nails. I went with my daughter to have pedicures done before she left on a summer trip. The wait was quite long, but when we were finally called back it got worse. Once my daughters nails were painted and we were waiting on her design to be added....she showed me her nails and the horrible paint! Her nail polish was off the nails on the end of her toes, missed places along the top of her nails, very messy paint. Add to this, the man who did her nails brought over the hot stones and 'handed' her one to hold to see how hot it was.......when we left the salon she had BLISTERS in the palm of her hand from this stone!! I was told it would be $39 for a manicure and pedicure over the phone but when he was done he charged me $81. I am also not happy with the way my nails turned out I wanted a design and showed the picture and he just was adamant about me picking a number. When painting my nails he left a lot of divots in my nails as well. I feel if they are going to quotes price they need to be more clear on what that entails. Plus it was very hard to understand him and he kept talking to someone else while working on my nails which made it even harder to know when he was talking to me.
