I could tell she definitely knew what she was doing when she immediately chose the right sizes of nail tips for every nail without having to compare them or size them up. The staff was very nice and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I asked for short, almond-shaped nails, short enough that I could type on the keyboard at work. Jenny did a beautiful job on my nails, and she got them to the perfect length! Long enough for a feminine touch, but short enough to be practical. Most nail techs I've been to tend to err on the long side, but she got them just right. After I paid, she gave me a little stamp card that will get me a $20 discount after 12 visits! I'll certainly be back. :)

I made an appointment through their website for Saturday May 16 at 11:45 am. I got there right at 11:42 am and checked in at the front desk and waited. After a few minutes I was taken to a spa chair and asked to wait. I waited until 12:17 and finally someone came to start on my service. 32 minute wait after I was scheduled , I was being nice about it because I could never be rude but I was a bit upset! What is the point of an appointment then? I got a classic pedi and white gel. Total was $52 plus tip. I was home all day not doing anything crazy, took a shower, laid in bed, and by 10:25 pm my pinkie nail polish was lifting! This was very upsetting because this pedi didn't even last a full day before chipping. I understand they were seemingly short staffed, but I did feel like my pedi was a bit rushed and that might be what led to poor application and my nails chipping. I didn't even wear tennis shoes, I wore flip flops to the appointment and at home! Very frustrating. I am giving it 3 stars because I'd like to believe hopefully this was a one time mistake. The atmosphere was very nice, very clean, and my nail artist was very nice. But for $52 plus dollars I am upset my polish is lifting.

This was my fourth time receiving services from VIP Nails, and it was the most impressive…read moreexperience that I've had from there. Even before going I knew what I wanted, a manicure and dip polish with a valentines theme. I chose a red dip color for my nails and then on my ring fingers I did a sparkly white with red hearts. The manicure itself was the best one I've ever had. When she asked if I wanted my nails cut, I was really hesitant because typically I feel like my nails get cut too short during manicures. I said she could cut them if she needed to in order to even them out, but I wanted my nails to be as long as possible. Not only did she not cut them down, she also asked if I wanted my nails to be round or square. I've never had a nail artist ask me that before, typically they've just done whatever they think is best. But, I really appreciated it! I had only used dip powder one other time, and it was honestly a nightmare. Because of that, I was really nervous about it this time. When she started, she assured me not to panic by the look of the powder. It is crazy how the powder eventually looks like regular and gel polish eventually. She did a great job on the nails and on the heart design. It took a few minutes for her to perfect the hearts, but I appreciated that she put so much effort into making them so good! My sister-in-law got a pedicure and manicure and chose French tips for her manicure. Her nails looked really good, I was super impressed!! The price was fair. I paid $52 for manicure, dip powder, and simple designs. The nail salon was crowded when we got there, but it died down a little after a while. We were there for about 2 hours total, but since we were together and able to chat it didn't feel too long. When you go ask for Lin or Nacy!

This was around 2:15... it looked pretty crowded, so I asked about the wait time and told them I had a meeting at 4. I was told it would just be a minute. I sat down and 30 minutes later tried to leave. At that point I was told they were running my water and not to leave... 30 minutes after that they put me in a chair. It was the most painful pedicure I've ever had. I sat there bleeding- but the tech just kept on going. I'm pretty sure she put something on to stop the excessive bleeding, but it definitely didn't stop the pain. 30 minutes and $53 later, she finished my pedicure- as I ran out the door to make my meeting. I was there an hour and a half and I don't think I'm going to be able to put shoes on for 3 days. I gave them 2 stars- because they greeted me immediately and although I was visibly writhing in pain, I might not have accurately expressed my feeling. It was loud and I watched several people come back in after having problems with their services.
