I came in asking for a couple inches off, some layers, and a trim for my curtain bangs. She cut it a bit shorter than i asked but it was fine. The main issue was i asked for a trim on my curtain bangs, and she gave me bangs. Fullllll on bangs. Ive had curtain bangs for years, and these were above-the-eye brow bangs. Definitely would NOT recommend this salon to anyone and I really hate leaving negative reviews. I worked in the service industry for years and am very understanding but really don't want what happened to me to happen to someone else! I don't treat myself to getting my hair done as much as I'd love because I'm in school full time but I decided to treat myself to feel pretty for my graduation the next week. I scheduled a balayage with Sarah, found my inspiration pictures and showed them to her at the beginning. She glanced at them quickly and said it'd be no problem. She did my hair, curled it, and when I looked in the mirror I realized it was more blonde than I expected but didn't say anything. (The lighting in the salon is super weird and dark so I thought maybe it was just the lighting and of course your hair always looks "better" after they curl it). Anyways I go home wash it Sunday, dry, and straighten it and while I'm doing it I realize it is NOTHING like what I wanted. It had SO MUCH blonde in it (that had a weird green / brassy hue to it) and my inspo pic had very little blonde and where it was blonde in the inspo pic it was very cool and ashy. The money pieces were SO stripey and ugly and were so harsh against the rest of my hair. The blonde through out was so stripey and blocky and not blended well at all. I was so upset and instantly texted that night asking if we could do something to fix it because my graduation was in 5 days, I didn't hear back til the next evening and was told she had nothing til Friday (my graduation) and would see about moving clients. After tip I paid $250 for this hair and it looked nothing at all like what I wanted so I felt so lost trying to figure out what to do. Tuesday I asked for a refund because I hadn't heard from her about anything and my graduation was coming up fast. She told me she would give me half a refund (not including my tip) because she couldn't see me anywhere before my graduation. So I had to try to find someone to pay again to fix my hair. Luckily I found an amazing stylist from somewhere else who was so sweet and fit me in when I showed her my hair. I guess if you still decide to go here be cautious if it comes out completely different than what you asked for they won't fix it, you'll have to pay someone else to color correct it and redo it, and then will still pay a ton of money! read more

The salon offers massages, I look forward to trying those out. My stylist gave me helpful advice to create the vision I wanted while maintaining a healthy head of hair. I am disappointed with my experience with this salon. Two different stylists cancelled on me last minute (messaged day of appointment with an excuse). A third stylist left the salon before my appointment time. I sat around waiting for someone that was done working for the day unbeknownst to me. I think not having a receptionist is a major issue when it comes to a successful salon. Stylists don't know when clients are there. Clients are unsure anyone knows they've arrived. It seems like there is a major lack of accountability and professionalism among the stylists. I do hope things improve, but I will be finding a new salon. read more

I have been getting my hair cut with Bethany for over a year now, and each time, I am consistently impressed. Not only is she a kind, positive person, but she takes the time to listen and understand what my vision is. Last time I was in, I wanted a change. I wanted to chop a few inches off of my long hair and rock a new style. She calmed my nerves, and the outcome was better than I would have ever hoped! I am looking forward to my next appointment at this salon to trim and reshape my hair since it's grown out a bit over the past couple of months. Worst experience ever with Jackie. Came out with damaged hair and she pretended it looked ok and was normal! Not normal to have pieces of breakage as she aggressively blow dries! Made a last minute appointment with Amber the other day and she was amazing. I have been looking for a stylist closer to my home as my previous one was downtown. I usually am very picky with my hair and refuse to go to someone new as that has been very bad in the past. Amber was very friendly and she made sure that I knew what she was doing as well as what type of cut I had before. I felt very comfortable going to her and look forward to seeing get again. The location is a little tucked away behind the main road. When you sit down you're offered beverages...even wine. There is also eyelash services among many others. I was at the point with my hair where I was gonna take a pair of scissors and cut my hair myself, I was THAT over it with my hair. A little recap, my hair is passed my butt, it's not shy to keep growing so whenever I trim my ends , it would be back 2 weeks later. It was a battle between me and my hair all throughout 2019 to the point I just let it grow. After a while I was getting regular headaches and everytime I put my hair up in a ponytail or bun, it was just weighing my head down. I always woke up to tangles in my hair and it'd take me an hour to untangle it all every morning. I was done, so I made the biggest decision and decided to go to a salon and get it all cut off. My hairdresser Amber was very sweet, talked to me during my experience and she made me feel comfortable for my first time coming. We ended up cutting off 10inches of my hair. All that extra weight finally gone! I'm very happy with how Amber styled and layered my hair. She listens to my requests and made sure with me before acting and cutting. I have always been iffy with going to a new hairstylist but Amber was top notch! Price is reasonable, I got a haircut and added some color and it turned out flawless. This place is very clean and walk-ins are available, for a specific stylist you'd have to schedule with them individually to figure out their availability. I did that with Amber and she was able to get me in that week! I'll definitely be coming back! read more

After spending nearly three hours in this salon for a cut and color, I came out with my color looking no different from when I went in. The inspiration picture was nothing like what I ended up with! My stylist knew I was unhappy and in her defense, tried to make it right. I went back in , she tried to fix the cut and the color correction was nothing short of an abomination. I came into the salon to see Rylee Miller, taking a chance and stepping out of my comfort zone. I had gone to the same hair dresser for 15+ years and was just unhappy with the way things had been going. Obviously being a new client, she knew I was nervous for what was to come, and she eased my nerves as soon as she started asking me not only what I wanted, but what I didn't want. She made sure to ask every question possible and make sure she achieved the hair I was looking for. My before hair was brassy and orange in color, and Rylee iced it up so well I was amazed. Even though it will take more than just one time to get to the super icy blonde color I want, she did such an amazing job taking away the orange brassiness and making me feel so confident in my hair. Eyelash Extensions - Amy Roberts Long story short.. I have received 2 initial applications and 2 refills from Amy. Initial applications I didn't have issues with but the refills fell out right away. The time I received the refill I had so many fall out within 3 days ( 5 came out right away after leaving) and had texted Amy with pics. I did everything I was supposed to do and not do but it didn't help. She put the blame on me being out in the sun... for a few hours? 2 days later? I don't think so. She had said she'd fix it after me initiating she should and that never happened. She ignored my texts over a period of 2 weeks until I got direct with her then she told me to go somewhere else. So I'm $77 out of lashes and I'm only writing reviews due to how she handled the situation.. it was very unprofessional and didn't do anything to help solve the issue. I now go to a professional eyelash salon and wow what a difference. The cheek pads don't ride up into my eyeballs, the glue doesn't burn my eyes, and my eyelashes are still in tact! I practically fell asleep getting them done. Pay the extra or the same and go somewhere else where they have better tools and more experience. read more
