We took our 2 friends from Connecticut to give them a taste of the Dutch Chinees-Indisch Restaurant. The dishes are not like those you order at your Eastcoast while in the walls. Babi pangang, Nasi Rames, Saté Adam, Foei Yong Hai, kroepoek, and Chap Tjoy was our choice of the day, and the table was packed with delicious food! I had to warn our buddies that there are no refills here like in the US, and the bottles will give you 5 sips and your staring at an empty glass... and they don't do tap water either. They make their own sambal, which flavours the food in their own unique way. I personally enjoy their Saté dishes and the bami with black bean mushrooms and green pepper. The service is warm, attentive (on quiet times a bit over the top, but that is better then the alternative) and very efficient. I like it here and hopefully we'll visit again soon. Price wise they're not expensive and the experience matches the price.

The experience of the remainder of the night wasn't as we were expecting, food was missing from certain rounds, we found a hair in the food the floor was sticky, the bottle which contained the soy sauce had smudges on the inside and the wait time was quite long for each round. All in all it's not a place we will go to again as there are better places with an 'all you can eat' concept.

Taste of most dishes is not really Thai, rather soja sauce and peppers all the way. Ordered some Thai grilled beef dish, turned to be rather cooked beef than grilled. The taste of that dish was awful! Main dishes are over priced. I would not recommend it to anyone.
