From reception, with a glass of bubbly, at either the cozy fireplace or the covered outside area (smoking permitted here.) One is taken on a journey of authentic Chinese delights. Either by making a selection yourself or having the staff arrange a number of surprise courses for your, with wine pairing if so desired. The attentiveness of the staff can not be overstated and is a compliment to the quality of the food. Above and beyond any you would normally find in the Netherlands.

They serve food to an extremely high standard, and they have an excellent wine menu as well. As with other great restaurants, the bill won't be low, but worth the money.

Friendly, quick service. I highly (highly) recommend... cannot recommend highly ENOUGH... the Wiener Melange as a digestif. Make sure to shout this order across the room--though I suspect no one but we Americans are classy enough to appreciate the delicacy of this double entent--and then wait to see what they bring you. They are situated right next to SUMO Sushi…read more We asked if they felt they had to compete to the AYCE Sushi Joint, but they said it wasn't so bad. They attract different customers then Sumo. It's easy to believe: there were actual Japanese people dining there. The sushi was really good, tasty, fresh and yummy. Entourage is nice. Could be a little bit more special, but its homely. Dishes look really nice and professional. There is seating outside too, which is great with good weather! Serving staff is very nice but quite young, they still have some learning to keep looking around to do. Most of the times, they passed all the tables without making eye-contact, so visitors would have to shout to get their attention. And that's not necessary, since it's not a big restaurant, it's quite easy to keep looking to see who needs attention. The only thing you shouldn't be ordering is.. the sea urchin. I tried the sea urchin as a preparation for Japan... and it was disgusting! It's nothing to do with the restaurant, a friend of mine, big sushi lover, also told he found the taste of it quite horrible. Very bitter and salty. Ewwww. No. No no no. I eat almost anything but this.. NO! So don't ruin your stay here by picking that one. Unless you are a big big big fan of sea urchin. For which I applaud you! I couldn't stomach it! BUT.
