I didn't know exactly what I had in mind so instead of ordering online going to a store with a good selection seemed like the right call - super glad I came here! I got a very cute fake leather jacket for over my dress and they have a ton of hair pin/clip options - and were very patient while I looked through them all :) In fact, the staff were the perfect level of attentiveness (i.e., left my mum and I to browse and chat until we had questions, and then were very helpful and made sure we were happy with our final choices). The only downside to the store is that it's super small, and therefore can feel a bit cramped when there are more than a couple of shoppers in it. So I'd recommend trying to go on a weekday morning if you can!

I wandered into the Espy Experience on a chilly evening a few weeks ago and in need of some better…read moregloves. I left with a very nice pair of leather gloves that were on sale. Espy is mostly a women's clothing store, but if you're into denim, they have a wide selection on the men's side. I found store staff to be funky, friendly, fun, and helpful, offering as much personal space as I needed to contemplate any possible purchases. They also offer "closet intervention" services, which considering my casual (and sometimes baggy and color-bending) clothing choices, would most welcome. But only under Gayle's supervision. :)

I bought them last week using a groupon I'd purchased months ago. Always love going in there to see the new stuff as I'm not really a "fashion" guy but really appreciate their help. I'm not always sure what will look good on me based on how it looks on the rack. Megan and Adam are always really helpful and I end up with stuff that I really like. This past spring I called Megan to tell her I was heading to Paris and was having trouble finding a wool pea coat. She told me that they had just been in London and she put her boyfriend in a 7diamonds coat that looked great. She showed me the pictures on the website, ordered it in and I had it in my hands 3 days later. Now that's service. Espy definitely isn't the cheapest place in town but I'd gladly spend my money on quality things that I really like vs cheaping out on just ok ish stuff that I end up not wearing. I can usually expect to go in there looking for one thing but finding others too. Today I was just going to pick up the hemmed jeans but ended up leaving with a new pair of Steve Madden shoes. They've not only got regular sized clothing, but they also carry petite sizing and they are conveniently located in a number of malls throughout the city. The quality of clothes at Ricki's/Cleo is reasonable and the prices are as well. I often stop over when I'm looking for work clothes that wont break the bank. Overall, they've got a great selection, great sizing, great service and great prices. Definitely worthy of a pit-stop in the midst of a shopping spree.

I did make a purchase, I found it very expensive there for what I was looking for. Just very few selection for my size more for the fuller sized women. More for size 2x and up there is plenty of choices. The smaller sizes are slim to no pickings. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. I'm not sure if I would be returning due to the choices for me. Another clothing gem located just outside of downtown!…read more Under the Bridge first came to my attention during a short but unfortunate period in my life when I felt that Emily Strange clothes were at the top of fashion. I was expecting to walk into a store like Blame Betty, all rockabilly and gothesque. What I instead encountered was a sort of haphazard collection of clothes in all sizes from a variety of designers. There remains to this day a small collection of Emily Strange clothes there, but it is so, so much more. The owner and also shopkeeper knows all about her clothes. She can help you find anything in your size in about 5 seconds flat. She is hilarious and charming and about as far from a goth as you can get. In terms of the clothes, she has collected a bit of everything from everywhere. The target seems to be women of all shapes and sizes from the ages of 20 - 50 which means there is a bit of everything for everyone. Some of the lines do run up to a 16, so curvy women searching for fashionable alternatives can find some great stuff here. And of course she's got some size 00 stuff for the tiny (lucky) ladies. There are lots of really unique and standout pieces you can buy here. My favourite purchase thus far are a killer pair of orange flats that people go crazy for. Comfortable + killer style + sweet owner + great location = let's not keep this a secret anymore guys. I recommend that all women visit - don't let Emily Strange keep you away.

Feels so much like a rummage sale. The hangers are those cheap plastic hangers that you get from the manufacturer and the design and style of the clothing look extremely dated. May 29, 2022 - Store is under new ownership since about Nov 2021…read more Horrible experience with new owner. Retrieved all my clothes recently when I couldn't get a balance on my account after several attempts. I was told yesterday, that even though those clothes/accessories had sold, they had "expired" long ago and therefore NO balance was owing to me. For the record, I extended the time twice (once they extended it themselves-noted on an email- as their system was down and they were transitioning to a new system). My clothes and accessories were featured prominently on their website, on their mannequins, in their window displays and modelled/featured many many times on instagram, and I could see when some sold - so I question that they were "expired" as obviously they were very much still sellable. Regardless, they sold my items recently or in the last 3 months (many designer - Kate Spade, Club Monaco, Aritzia, BCBG, etc.) and kept 100% of the proceeds - sending me a pittance apparently for items that sold prior to expiry . Do not consign with this new owner! If you currently do - I would pull my stuff from that store and demand a full accounting of the transactions. I will be filling a complaint with the BBB this week. I had to give it a 1 start in order to post this review - but this new owner does not deserve any.
