o stars. BEWARE!!! Go to a mom and pop salon before this schemey, corporate salon. Seems like this company thinks they can get away with it all because they are the only updated tanning salon with decent beds in Colorado. I honestly don't give a crap. If your customer service sucks, I'm out. Colorado Springs has a massive military population. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of empathy and respect for Military families and unexpected pregnancies. I recently signed a 10 month contract as it was my cheapest option for an unlimited levels 1-3 tanning exp. Becoming a member is always the cheapest option of course, that means constant income for the company. A month later I got a positive pregnancy test from my OB. I went in to Tan your hide to ask what my options were. They wanted a medical document stating that i was pregnant which is my own personal business and I am not comfortable giving that to them. Second, what does it matter? If I am not using the service, I should not have to pay. Period. Situations occur in life. I have worked for multiple big name salons in the Midwest and they were NEVER operated in this way. Clients were treated as human beings and we were to be understanding of real life, important situations. I was treated with no respect as the lady behind the counter could care less about clients or their personal issues. She said my only option was to freeze the account but my payments would still be due and i could then use the time after my pregnancy. I am pregnant. This is a reason for cancellation. LOL. Honey, my husband is enlisted, we move a lot, and he's about to be deployed. I will be in another state throughout his deployment while I am pregnant. The lady said I could only cancel if we showed her permanent change of station orders, which first off that is my own personal business and second, what about him being deployed?! Many wives choose to go home through the deployment, especially if you're pregnant. I refuse to pay for a service that I have not used and will not be able to use. I also was NOT informed of all of this prior to signing which is my fault for not reading the fine print. But I mean come on ladies. This is a tanning salon contract. Im not applying for a damn loan or buying a car. I don't care who you are. We should treat our clients with empathy and respect because they are providing the income to run the business. This is a poorly ran establishment not only for my situation but others that I have read and how unorganized my entire exp. was with them from the start. They will never get another dime from me or anyone that I come into contact with. You can not run a business without happy cliental. read more

I was a member back in 2011. I tried to cancel or suspend my membership when I lost my job. They said "No, you're under contract." I got behind on payments and was not allowed to use the facility, so they continued to bill me although I could not tan. We tried to cancel or suspend our contract again when my sons mother became pregnant, once again, even with a Dr.'s note we received a "No, you're under contract." After paying for a membership that we couldn't even use, I reluctantly had to cancel my card so I was not being charged $40 for absolutely nothing. I recently checked my credit report only to find that they are claiming I owe them over $800 for facilities that we were unable to use. Long story short, unless you absolutely know there will be nothing unexpected that would affect your membership, don't sign up and end up in the hole they've placed me. Also while discussing this with friends, I discovered another case where a girl was diagnosed with a skin disorder and could no longer tan, once again, even with a Dr.'s note, she was given the same treatment I received. Not to mention the way I was talked down to by every "customer service" representative I spoke to. I called a shop to see if I could speak to anyone in billing today, and was simply given the number to the collections office. read more

Tan Your Hide located in Monument, CO delivers the best, most relaxing experience I have ever had with a tanning salon! When I walked in to tan, the first thing that I noticed was how clean the tanning beds were!! They were spotless, ready for the next person to enjoy the same relaxing experience that I had... Lastly, the staff is absolutely AMAZING! They helped me find the right tanning bed - best for my skin complexion... They asked how my day was going, and they actually CARED, which was noticeable - in a positive manner :). I loved my experience with tan your hide. The store is clean, fresh and modern with new cutting edge beds. The lamps are fresh and great! I got a very good tan even though I am very fair. It's cool when the staff teaches you how to go about reaching your goals using the equipment they have. I did a level two bed to get more melanin then advanced to a level three to get that great bronze deep tan I was after. This is the tannest I have ever been and I'm so grateful. Very friendly and very clean at the Monument Tan Your Hide!! The large bed is amazing. I'm spending a fraction of the time tanning that I used to spend 20 years ago, and the tan is as beautiful now as it was back then. And, an incredible fan comes with the big bed and actually makes the experience relaxing and enjoyable. I use the fan on low--and it's super sufficient for me! When the weather turns hot, the fan on "high" will be perfect! You make think the bed is pricey, yet the benefits you will experience will be worth the cost!!!! Happy tanning!!!! read more

Amazing location! The manager Shannon is hands down the best! This is one of the best stores I've visited, I used to come here in the past and the staff was always friendly, but never went above and beyond, and Shannon goes above and beyond for us every single visit. I signed up for a year because of Maddie, who is so sweet and really helped get my daughter and myself set up, but Shannon coming in sealed the deal to upgrade to a higher tanning level with the red lights and I am convinced I will probably be a life member now. :) read more

I'm not a big "tanner" per say but when I have a special event I always get a nice tan before my event. Looks real and I have a healthy clean smelling glow. Not fake. Very clean place and professional. I have never had a bad experience here. The employees know their stuff and are very helpful as well as inviting. Prices are reasonable too! Friendly staff, I forget her name but I wanted to upgrade but I wasn't sure from level 2 to level 3 and the lady let me try it once for free. Also all of the employees are fast and efficient! When it gets busy it only takes less then 5 min to get a bed! Compared to tanning in California the prices here are ON POINT! Worth it. I would recommend level 3! The staff are always kind and curteous. My minutes never seem to expire or at least last for years. I use the standing beds and they are always clean and working properly, and the staff seem to always be cleaning which makes you feel good about the facility and equipment. I love Tan Your Hide at the Monument location! It is always clean, they have multiple tanning options, and I've never had to wait. The girls at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. It's in a great location. I'm cheap and use the Level 2 tanning bed, but I get a great-looking tan in just a couple of weeks. read more

Tan @ level 2 for 11 minutes and it is just the right amount of time for me. it is reasonably priced and I am very pleased with my tanning solution.
