Amazing service. The person who runs the place is very knowledgable about the tanning equipments and the lotions. The place is spotless, huge with all private rooms. I enjoy tanning here and taking advantage of their deals and offers for summer. read more

I walked in (pale skin and all) And most tanning places give you that What-do-you-think-you-are-doing-here-casper Look. I did not get that here. The girl at the counter (danelle) was super sweet and very knowledgeable about the process and equipment. I enjoyed the bed and the place is lager and clean and the prices are good! I will be back. read more

Seriously love this place so much! So clean, friendly, and quick! You can't pick a better place!

Best beds ever! I always get the deepest long lasting tan from their beds...I rather pay more & drive far to go to them..they are super clean & best bulbs & high end beds..love there product selection from designer skin..always greeted by happy employee & treated like gold till the second I leave read more

My old tanning place closed down so I googled and found this place near me, i walked in and noticed how clean everything is and how professional the staff are. Dan was the owner and I think he's very professional and knowledgeable about his beds so far I'm loving this place oh and the big bonus for me was the leg tanner I have only seen that in one other place, but was so happy to see they have it because legs are the hardest to get tan for me. read more

My partner and I have been tanning here for over 3 years. We buy the yearly membership and find it to be a great value - especially compared to others in the area we shopped. This place is always sparkling clean and the bulbs are changed frequently. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but some of the reviews here simply don't match my experience...at all. There are always other options for most any service you want, but little things like the staff knowing you by name or knowing which beds you like more than others are perfect examples of the exemplary customer service I've grown accustomed to here. I will always spend my money where I know it's appreciated and I'm a valued customer - which is why I wouldn't even consider tanning elsewhere. read more

This place is great the selection of beds are pretty regular BUT the service is awesome. The guy at the front wasn't super pushy like at other salons and was very knowledgeable. I tried the most expensive bed, because I wanted a quick tan and it was worth it. Their tan packages are moderately priced and worth it if you tan often. The place is super clean and very nice. read more

Best spray on tan place! I've tried the spray on tan and the Versa Spa is much better that they have! No spotty streaks and blotches! Very clean too and your fist time you get a special rate! read more

This place knows so much about Tanning. Super clean, super friendly. So many different options in beds. What made me come here was the leg tanner. I love that this place will NOT let you go in for the time YOU want at first. They judge your skin and tell you what amount of time you should spend, and what increments to go up. Never got burned here! Plus I got a free upgrade for my birthday! Thanks! read more

love me some Tan Lines :) they turn me from looking like a ghost to looking like I got the best summer tan in less then 30min. Im not a member but I do go there periodically when I have events to attend for a quick 10 min bed session and a spray tan. : ) read more

The owner is always there and happy to answer questions. Be sure to ask for the cruelty-free tanning lotion---he added it to his store after my first visit when I told him about my concerns with using only animal-friendly product! Even if you choose not to buy it, please thank him for having it available. A+ for listening to customer needs. read more

Absolutely love this place!!!!! Staff is incredible knowledgeable and friendly! They keep everything super clean- a must for me!! If you need to get your tan on, look no further. Tan lines is the place for you! read more

So in the town that I live in there is not one single tanning salon luckily I just started a new job at Burbank and less than a half a mile away I found this amazing tanning salon. The guy at the desk I'm assuming the owner was awesome super knowledgeable super friendly and gave me a hell of a discount be in that it was my sign-up day. I could not believe how incredibly clean everything was !! I thought it was brand new it was so fresh and sparkly.... i've found my new tanning salon for life read more

I have to say upfront that this was my first experience at a tanning salon (25 year old male). I do not know if the prices are better or worse than others. However Madison made me feel very comfortable with the experience. She was friendly and extremely helpful. This made my first experience with tanning a good one. The location was clean, and for a Sunday afternoon had a good amount of customers. Would recommend to any of my guy friends who have hang ups about tanning. read more

Stopped in after work new to the area and Dan welcomed me, explained the different programs available and had me roasting within about ten minutes. The guy knows his stuff and keeps an immaculate store (including the restroom). Lots of hassle free parking, great prices and a tanning guru for no extra charge. Don't waste your time or money anywhere else. read more

Always clean and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable! Best tanning in the valley! It is pricey, wish they would bring back year membership for $20. read more

I tried this place out because I heard they had a leg only tanning bed. For me my legs take forever to get tan and the thought of a leg only bed sounded brilliant. I have to say the service was great. The guy that got me started and set up was very helpful and knowledgable. He took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure to answer any questions. The people that run the salon seem to really know their customers and they address them by their first name every time. I would highly recommend this salon! The beds are amazing and the service is awesome. read more

BEST SALON IN TOWN!!! I was in the tanning industry for several years. And I've gotta tell ya folks...this is the best salon in town! When choosing a salon, you want to make sure the place is immaculate, the beds are clean and the staff is knowledgeable (preferably Smart Tan certified) . Some reviews stated the prices were too high. Well, as the saying goes...you get what you pay for!! I prefer quality over quantity!!! I have been a client for several years. And I could not be happier!! Because I was in this industry for so long, , I have an extremely high standard!! Check them out. Lots of bed options, lotion options, and packages for all budgets. read more

Wow Laura M got lucky, no place will give a full refund after tanning for 3 weeks. I don't know how you didn't get any color, that doesn't sound right at all. I've been going here for over a year and Dan and staff is awesome. It's large and very clean! I love this place read more

Hands down!!!! This is the best tanning salon in the city of Burbank! As a 41 year resident I have seen it all. This salon, is ultra clean and has an amazing selection of beds and lotions. The husband/wife owners are incredible people and their staff is always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this tanning salon to anyone! read more

I have been to literally almost every tanning salon in Burbank over the last few years. Although none were bad, I didn't find one that was GREAT until Tan Lines. The space is very large with plenty of beds. It is super clean, and has a really good vibe. The owners as well as the staff have been nothing less than genuinely welcoming and sweet. They will greet you by name upon entering. From the beginning, I felt very comfortable here. Not to mention the prices are extremely reasonable. I do the unlimited monthly and it is literally half of what I paid at other salons. Plus parking is never an issue. Can't go wrong here in any way. A+++! read more

Best Tan establishment I've been to so far. Great prices great equipment great service. Highly recommended. After using my one month membership I will definitely be back. Very knowledgeable in answering all my questions and giving me more knowledge on keeping my Golden-glow. read more

Good experience. A cpl nice gals running the desk when i went. Pleasant clean and mellow. Good price.

This is one of the most well designed tanning salons I have been to. Very nice place. And I've been to many. Not very nice people. Quite overpriced. Kind of a scam in the way they sell "sun dollars." The owners think that they are the not only the best, but the only option out there for tanning. The employees are fairly clueless. Can't remember a name to save their lives. Tan Lines is currently offering a special. What the special is I do not know. I received a very obscure email, called to see what the deal was. Because of course, every girl wants a little color in the winter. I was told that I would have to come in to learn about the specials. "Every thing is on sale. Some even free." I was told. I responded that most of us don't have the time in December to come in to get such info. I told the guy that I would need to have a very good reason to spend my time on such, if he couldn't give me some further information then I would be going elsewhere. He actually told me, "Then I guess you will be going elsewhere." If you are willing to overpay for tanning and don't mind dealing with people who think you have no other option, then this is the place for you. And I am hopeful that there is no one out there fitting that description. Gave them one star because there was no option to give NONE. NEVER GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY. There are too many other options. read more

the older man behind the desk.. like the other review has horrible customer service skills or sale skills for that matter. yes i get that they sell several different indoor tanning lotions and that they want to make a profit off of them. i brought my own in.. n he told me that i was not allowed to use it because it could damage the bed? umm i was about to pay FOR THE STAND UP BED?! lol id understand if they were totally busy and didnt need my sale. but they were empty n he still refused to let me use it.. cus next time i might use a lay down bed and ruin it if i used my banana boat lotion.. i left. some of his lotions might have only been 3bucks but it was the principal. read more

Better salons in town. I work in marketing and the owners skills are way off. Not professional

I've tanned here before. There prices are comparable to most studios.. They did make me fill out all these forms and are veryy controlling on how long and how often they will let you tan. I know it's for safety's sake... but its MY SKIN. read more

I LOVE this place!!! I moved to LA from South Carolina and was nervous that I wasn't going to find a tanning salon as great as back home. BUT, I was wrong! Tan Lines has a variety of beds and a variety of packages to choose from. Their customer service is phenomenal! They're not pushy with their products but will gladly answer any questions you have. Tan Lines appeared small to me when I first walked in, but as I walked down the hall, I noticed that it had so many rooms and so many beds! This is great because I never have to wait on a bed! Every time I walk in, they know me by name and know what bed I'm most likely going to be using! Their tanning rooms are SUPER clean! Each room also has a small shelf with tissues, deodorant, and wipes (to make sure you smell your best when you leave!) and the beds are ready for you to use with clean eye goggles and a towel. They update the bulbs in their beds frequently and leave me with a great tan!! When I first started researching tanning salons in my area, I came across Tan Lines yelp page and noticed some of the bad reviews. However, I have NEVER had a bad experience here! I noticed that all of the low ratings were due to the customer either being lazy, careless... or just plain dumb. I had my own lotion from a previous tanning salon and the owner/employees had no problem with me using my own. Obviously, they don't want $5 Walmart lotion being used on their expensive beds...and I don't know why you would think that would be beneficial for your tan. ... and it's not the tanning salon's responsibility to cancel your monthly billing. They are a business and you signed the paper work. Pricing is very reasonable- it's about the same that I was paying in the south. I have the middle package (unlimited use of the level one beds, 12 min. lay-down beds and stand-up bed) and I pay about $40. Trust me, this place is well worth your money! I get compliments all the time on my tan! They are very knowledgeable about what is best for you & your skin type! I wouldn't go anywhere else!!! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Immaculate, air conditioned, pretty, relaxing, welcoming, reasonable, plenty of parking, the list goes on... I came here on the recommendation of a friend and had high hopes. They did not disappoint. Everyone that works here is super nice and they are always on their game. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help. They have TONS of rooms and even have a leg tanning bed, score! Tons of packages and options. If you buy a membership you save even more money. This place is the best. I have been coming here for several months and will be a customer as long as they're open. read more

I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. Dan and all the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the salon is clean and well maintained, the parking is easy and plentiful - and they have a leg tanning bed, which isn't easy to find. I've been going for about a month and have been pleased with results and the overall experience. Highly recommended! read more

Very pleased to find this new place as my other tanning place closed..a lot of options ... this place is very clean ..enjoyed the options and different types of beds and super easy parking.. check it out for yourself.. read more

Ridiculously friendly staff. Super affordable prices for surprisingly new and updated equipment. Stress free no hassle. I read below a complaint about a start up fee. That's only if you buy a membership. This is very standard for tanning salons that don't require you to do a year contract. It's saving their company for you using their equipment unlimited, yet maybe not devoting your loyalty for a year like some salons do. I have had multiple tanning memberships before (in multiple states), and the only time I wasn't required to pay a start up fee is when I was bound in a mandatory 1 year contract and couldn't break it. I used to work at the Darque Tan in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. After they got bought out by Palm Beach Tan, I worked there for awhile too. Both companies had start up fees for new members. (Palm Beach Tan's start up fee was pricier, Darque Tan's was the exact same.) I would counter the argument from the dual perspective of a customer and a previous employee from the inside of tanning industry, Tanlines actually has a great business model. They let you freeze your account whenever you want. (Most memberships only let you freeze your account for 1 month or 2), and you can cancel your account anytime after the first billing cycle. If you have any extenuating circumstances they're pretty open and lenient. So often these days credit and debit card numbers get compromised and the bank reorders you a new one. For anyone who's on an autopay membership at a gym, spa, salon, anything then you know how frustrating it can be when your payment doesn't go through due to not updating your credit card. Even though you're always supposed to be charged a late fee for the late payment, they waived it joking saying that it happened to a lot of other people too during the holidays. (High fraud at the end of year). Someone wrote below that her lack of payment for the same situation went to collections. This can only happen if you fail to pay multiple months at a time. Also legally they can't cancel your membership until the third party or you has finalized payments. Otherwise you get away with a free membership. Again, they are the least sneaky when it comes to fees. If I had ever waived a late fee at the salons I worked at, I would have been fired. (The advantage of the owner actually working and being present!) Having worked at salons (Palm Beach mainly) that drives you to push sales so much and creates most of your paycheck off of commission, I will say that usually tanning salon employees are super pushy. This is not the case at Tanlines. They are very friendly and genuine. Will only talk about product if you seem genuinely interested about something. I also read someone else's yelp complaint about a wait time below and that rarely happens. I would like to commend actually how efficient they are. You go to any walk-in (no appointment) tanning salon in Beverly Hills that charges twice the amount for the same beds or spray booths, and the wait time is way worse. Overall great employees. Super clean. Not pushy. Rarely a wait time. Very affordable. Very reasonable. Not commission hungry employees. Open 7 days a week. Equipment: All levels of beds: UVA, UVB, UVA/B - 20 min, 12 min, 10 min... Stand up, leg tanner; Versa Spray. AND A PARKING LOT. read more

I love this place! Years ago I tanned at the Hollywood Tans in Pasadena because they had the stand up tanning booths. I have since moved and was looking for a new place that had tanning booths (I prefer booths over beds). I'm glad I found Tan Lines, the owner is great, very professional and knowledgeable. Everything is clean, I never have to wait, the bulbs are changed regularly and I get great results. They even have a leg tanner which I have yet to try. Highly recommend! read more

I usually never write reviews on these things but this place popped up and I've been going here for over a year. And I know everyone has their opinions but I have to totally disagree with Anthony's comment. This place is awesome! The owner is freaking cool and he makes you realize how you're saving money. I've never in the whole year of going here had to wait for a bed and they are always on top of cleaning them promptly and making sure your experience is fast but pleasant. So I have to totally disagree with the guy and say everyone should check this place out :) read more

It's not a 5 star place salon... it's a 10 star salon!! I cannot say enough good things about both the people and the place. I have been going here for many years and I have never been pressured or hassled to purchase anything other than what I wanted. This salon is a fabulous family run business. It is always clean and well decorated and maintained. The employees are super kind and always helpful. I have never meet a group of employees who are always so professional and friendly. The owner Dan, I am convinced, is the nicest businessman in Burbank. He is very knowledgeable about products and always helping me to try and save money on my tans.
