I loved the colourful artwork, ample seating, and lots of natural light. We were visiting at the end of October so it was quite cold but I imagine in the summer months they can roll up the large bay doors for fresh air and coffee on the patio. There were lots of interesting wares and goods to look at for sale while I awaiting my pumpkin spiced latte. Of most interest to me were the coffee bean plants! I had literally never seen coffee beans growing before and if I lived here, I would want one of these for my desk at work. I now must hunt and see if I can find these in Edmonton, AB. This looked like the place to go and hang out while working or catching up with a friend. The chalkboard discussion topics wall was a fun and interactive touch and placed just right (where you're hanging out waiting for your beverage to be handed over). They had some signage up about fair trade which made me want to dig a little deeper. Turns out that Just Us! is Canada's first fair trade coffee roaster (founded in 1995) and a co-op. They helped people with strollers and trouble walking up and had no trouble with any of it. Definitely one of my favourite apple picking experiences!
