Came here for a drink after eating lunch at the kbbq restaurant nearby. We ordered a super fruit tea and a cheezo grape. Service was really fast and we got the drinks less than 5 minutes after ordering. Unfortunately the cheezo grape was not what we were expecting. We asked if we can get it with 0% sugar but the staff warned us that it's impossible and the lowest he can do is 25%. However, the drink tasted really sweet and tasted more like 75% sugar. My fruit tea tasted good and refreshing though.

Only $7 without tip. Yummy! They only have regular milk as an option. Matcha is perfect, the sugar they add isn't overpowering. Cheese foam is a must.

I'll be honest, I was a skeptical about coming here due to the rating but I'm glad I gave it a shot. I've been craving boba and matcha for a while. I had to kill some time while my dog was getting groomed nearby so I figured I'd try something local while I wait. I searched. A few different spots but since this one was so close and had parking right up front I figured why not. I told the young gentleman at the cashier I'd like a matcha boba and asked what foam he suggested which was the tiramisu. I'm not a big fan of sweet drinks but I figured I'd try it since i saw on the reviews it was popular. The drink was great! The lid had a very satisfying fit to the straw and also featured a sliding cover for a large sip opening. I took a sip of the foam which was really sweet but good. I mixed it with the tea and it wasn't too sweet at all. Just perfect. The boba was fresh. I'd come back for the drink. Place looks nice and quiet compared to the busy street outside. There's a restroom out back but I believe it's shared with other neighboring businesses.

~ high quality milktea ~ Got the Roasted Oolong milktea and it wasn't too sweet; the sugar didn't override the taste of the tea and the bobas were fresh and chewy. You also get to pick up a tiny shovel for your cream, which makes for a cute souvenir. Inside: Small square room that seats 3 parties of 1-4 people each. It's right next to a KBBQ restaurant so it will smell like Korean food when you go during dinner time.

I got the most popular drink of Royal Ceylon with tiramisu foam. It was delicious! Super flavorful, thick foam, and almost filled me up before I had dinner plans (but I persevered.) Service was very quick too. The inside has seating. The interior was pretty dated though. The bathroom seems to be shared with other businesses and was clean.

Very solid drinks, the only critique is the want of slightly softer boba. Other than that, the staff was nice and had great drink presentation.

We wanted a boba drink after having dinner nearby so we stopped by Tan-cha. The service & drink were alright so I wouldn't come back here next time. Frothy Matcha Pu,er Tea With Foam ($5.75) + Caramel Boba ($0.75): If you want the frothy matcha, that's the with foam price. If you just want the pu,er tea, that's the without foam price. I thought that was a bit confusing so I think they should make their menu a bit more clear. I asked for less sweet (~75%) but think 100% would be fine as well. The drink itself was mid. The frothy matcha had a very subtle flavor so it didn't do much for the pu,er tea except make it a bit more creamier. The boba was flavors and had a good texture.

Tan-Cha is certainly unique in the foam that they put on top of their drinks. It's very thick and does add an extra flavor texture to the drink that I appreciated. But it definitely commands a premium price for that extra foam. The inside offers a little seating which is nice, and shares a bathroom with other restaurants. It's in the middle of K-Town so you know what you're getting yourself into. There's no parking anywhere so you'll have to walk here. We enjoyed it. But certainly a one-and-done experience for us.

I came here for a quick boba fix on my lunch break. There was only one employee working. The ambiance was bright and cozy. I ordered a Brown Sugar boba latte. I asked if they had any dairy alternatives, but unfortunately they only have whole milk. Although whole milk is not my preferred choice, I decided to order it anyway and give it a try. I wish Tan-Cha can add dairy alternatives such as Oat Milk or Almond Milk to their milk tea options. The boba was consistently chewy. However, the drink itself was okay. It had a few streaks of brown sugar, but the sweetness was not balanced with the milk tea itself. Towards the end and after mixing it, it felt like I was drinking milk with boba. I'm only open to try their other milk teas if they add dairy alternatives such as oat or almond milk. I'll give them another chance by trying other drinks such as their fruit teas on the menu.

Strawberry green tea with lychee jelly is the best here! We always go here just to get this.

Had to find street parking, but loved my lemon-y drink bc I don't drink caffeine. Also loved the outdoor seating. Never in the area, but would visit again if I was. So yum.

Red jade tea 5/5 I originally wanted the matcha foam red jade tea but ended up just getting the tea and it was still good. The tea flavor is strong which I like and it was very refreshing! My friends tried some of their other drinks and they all liked it as well! Staff was very friendly. We came on a Thursday early afternoon and we did have to wait a little bit since only one worker was there. Parking is difficult to find.

It was really interesting that one of the Americanos was made with Ecuador Los 4 Mundos beans, and the other was made with Colombia El Diviso. When a staff member brought over my hot Vanilla Latte, I asked to make sure it was decaf. He took it back just to double-check for me, and then confirmed that it was indeed decaf. The coffee here is all delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly, which I really liked. However, the chairs were quite uncomfortable to sit in, and the Vanilla Latte was still pretty sweet even though I ordered it "less sweet." Still, the coffee tastes so good and the staff are so incredibly kind, so it's a really great coffee shop. P.S. A funny thing: They had dog treats in a jar. I immediately thought of my boss's absolutely super, incredibly cute dogs, so I asked for an empty cup and packed some treats to bring to the office for them today. But when I finished my coffee and was heading out, I totally forgot and accidentally threw the cup of treats away along with the empty coffee cups. OMG. (But seriously, all dogs and cats always absolutely love me. Hahaha. When I get to work, my boss's dogs come over wagging their tails and greeting me so excitedly--they are just so, so adorable. And as for cats, there's a stray that I've been feeding every single morning on my way to work for over 4-5 years now. She currently lives at the Buddhist temple I attend. Every day when I go, she follows me around everywhere. She absolutely loves it when I scratch her back with a brush, and when I'm done and try to leave, she taps my foot to tell me to scratch more! It's just so totally cute and lovable. It's a completely white cat, and so incredibly pretty.)
