Let me make one thing clear. This place deserves no stars. Unfortunately there's no option to give 0. So here it goes, the owner Peter is the absolute worst. Clearly he has no clue how to run his business. His employees Seem dumbfounded when you ask a simple question pertaining to their job these same employees are always hanging out in the back. The spray tans are crap,. Peter seemed sincere in his tour of the spray rooms, amazing me with how great these booths tan and how simple it all is. THEY ARNT!! and ITS NOT!! The tan barely lasted three days. Even with Peters advised "daily moisturizing" routine. It fades in splotches. The beds don't tan and are also never cleaned properly. Talk about gross! If you get a chance to get a tan, please let me save you the trouble. DO NOT GO TO TAN BELLA! read more

I'm not the sort of girl who frequents tanning salons. I just had my first ever booth spray tan (typically get airbrush since I'm so skeptical of the booth accuracy) and I am so impressed with Tan Bella. I was referred by a friend and upon walking in the decor and cleanliness was beyond amazing. I was greeted by an employee who was in training and the owner, Peter, came up and walked me through every single detail when it came to being a first time booth tanner. Peter spent 30 minutes going over the machine, its functions, the positions, the different levels of tan, the pre tan primer add on, the post tan add on and the double dip leg tanner add on. He went over pricing and packages and didn't make me nervous or pressured at all. They offer a buy one get one free promotion for all new clients and they let your first tan be your free tan, so you can pick any or all of the add ons for your first experience. The tan went on even the machine was clean and explained the steps again while spraying and it was an amazing experience. The owner peter is an amazing business owner and I will now be a tanning regular at tan bella... no more airbrush tans for me! read more

Tan Bella is the BEST & ONLY tanning salon in Marin. I went to Pacific Tan for over 25 years and became very unhappy with the quality of my experience there about 5 years ago. When I heard there was new ownership I got my hopes up. PT was great the 1st 10 years it was open & has gone down hill to the point of me leaving w/ 12 spray tans pre-paid & saying ciao. I was SO EXCITED when I walked into TAN BELLA's new location in Marin. It is so beyond anything I expected. It is fun to walk into this very clean, modern and elegant spa-like salon. The beds are the best made, the spray tanning booths also the highest quality available & the selection of products are truly impressive. After going there for 4 months I met the owner this morning and was duly impressed. He suggested a package that would save me money which was a great surprise. I like the package I have but was happy that he tried to save me money. The packages are fairly priced, & the one I have is the same I paid at PT for all these years...just better service, the highest quality machines & sparkling clean environment. I was worried about parking on 4th street but have never had a problem. I have also never had a problem walking in and getting the booth I want. Check it out for a 100% perfect experience.
