If I could give zero stars, I would. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I came in expecting a professional and respectful interaction, especially from a business owner, but instead I was met with rude, dismissive, and unprofessional behavior. When discussing my firearm, I mentioned a price point around $350, which was immediately shut down without any real conversation. I was then told a much lower value based on a previous sale that didn't seem comparable. When I declined the offer and said I would go elsewhere, the situation escalated. The owner became hostile, raised her voice, and handled my property in a careless and disrespectful way by running outside and throwing my gun in a ditch next to the building. That level of behavior is completely unacceptable. Overall, the experience felt very unwelcoming and disrespectful. I bought a gun tuesday and then was told I could pick my gun up Monday the 3rd march 3rd then to find out they were closed then on tuesday 7 days after the purchase I called back and inquired about the gun in which they told me to wait another day and then I asked about return policy if they had a no return policy and Jose completely ignored me and kept saying pick up date is tomorrow and that they did not have any information and would not help me and that I could not speak to someone who knew the policy I asked to speak with anyone else in the store knowing there was another person because jose kept consulting them but then kept saying pick up tomorrow no refund no nothing worst service and least knowledgeable about policys and laws and and refusal to even try to give any information read more

I've conducted business with them on multiple occasions. They've been very respectful and knowledgeable. I would say their selection is not as big as other big box stores, but they make up for that with the customer service and availability to have items shipped , They also have the SilencerShop fingerprint machine if I'm not mistaken, which is a plus and friendly dogs, which is also nice. The firearm I put money down on ended up being sold. As I was awaiting for my background clearance somehow the firearm I put money down on was sold. The fact that no one kept track of that and wasn't even given a courtesy of being notified was truly unprofessional. I got called in saying my background clearance came back good and my firearm was ready for pickup, just to find after I arrived that they sold it. I understand things happen but the lack of following up and care was just non existent. The fact that this review on google was simply responded with no care" gun was restocked after four months and received a full refunded" obviously there is no ownership on their mistakes. They missed the whole point. After restocking why wouldn't you follow up and reach out to the customer? Apparently the trend on low stars is with the front desk customer service on professionalism. I've been there a few times over the past 3 years. Sometimes for transfers and sometimes for purchases. No matter the case, they are always helpful and friendly. Fair prices and willing to help answer questions even if it didn't result directly in a sale for them. Its hard to be "Walmart and Macy's" at the same time. I'd rather pay a tad more for the "Macy's" experience and help support small business at the same time. If you agree, give them a chance. read more

Friendly local gun shop. Not a huge selection, but sometimes smaller shops are better for some reasons. Definitely will use for everything that they can accommodate. Have bought a few guns off them in the last month. Plan on doing some silencers through them as well in the near future. read more

Worst experience of my life! Marna had sold my upper receiver privately and with that money I had put a down payment on a glock. A few days later the upper receiver was returned broken, then Marna had stolen my money from the down payment of my glock and gave it back to this person (witch later found out it was her friend). Only updating this because Marna thinks "She had the police remove me from the store and trespass me". I was the one who called the police because of broken property, anyone can trespass anyone. This lady is clearly a psycho and shouldn't own guns let alone sell them. Adding a little side note, the day I went to go talk face to face to Marna I had showed up stood in line being very patient and quiet. I had the rifle shoved in my face by an employee, I quickly and politely said I had a couple questions first before I take it. As soon as I said that Marna from behind the counter screamed as loud as she possibly could " GET YOUR RIFLE AND LEAVE MY STORE". Mind you there was a little girl 5-7 years old standing directly in front of the counter as she is screaming at me for absolutely nothing. Like I said, psycho. This is why I keep updating this post, because she is the worst human being I have ever came across, all because I wrote her a bad review for screwing me over forcing me to take an upper receiver with a broken flash suppressor. Additional information, mine and Marnas agreement was that "If the Ar15 upper receiver was sold she would staple the receipt to the money and would put it aside, the money does not enter her system" I used that money to put down on a brand new Glock 21 Gen 4, the money was IN THE SYSTEM and she had stolen it and gave it back to her "Friend". If the friend had 40 years of experience building guns he failed to see the flash suppressor was broken? He failed to notice the bolt was modified and sold to fit into an ar15 platform? Marna is using her own words against her and is CLEARLY in the wrong. My only mistake was that I had forgot the bolt was an original m16 bolt and was modified professionally and sold to fit into an ar15 platform. Originally I didn't want to sell the bolt inside the upper receiver but Marna had convinced me saying it would be worth more. You be the judge on who's wrong, everything I have said was the Gods honest truth. Slander me all you want, I think we both know who is in the wrong. read more

I just realized that I hadn't given Marna and friends an update after doing a trade and purchase. I had a nice Walther PPQ that I just couldn't get excited about shooting, and as a result it was languishing in my gun safe. I had recently sold my Para 1911 and was really missing a 1911, so I went in and spent some time speaking with Dan about what kind of 1911 would be best for me, wanting something a little higher end than the Para 1911 I had previously owned. Dan schooled me on 1911s, and even talked me down from buying a Dan Wesson, convincing me that the money I would spend might not justify the purpose of the pistol I wanted. I ended up trading in my PPQ for a very fair price, considering it's a fairly common pistol and nothing special, and getting a Springfield 1911 Range Officer for far less than I had expected to spend on a new 1911. Super easy transaction, my Springfield was there in just 3-4 business days, and I was at the range with it in under a week from when I did the deal. I am really pleased with it and super appreciative of Dan for laying things out for me in a very non-committal and vendor neutral manner. I ended up with a really nice pistol and a fair amount of coin stayed in my pocket. I had been looking for something a little more practical for concealed carry, so when Walther came out with the updated PPS (M2) I decided that's what I wanted. I was able to go in, pick out the model I wanted, pet the dogs, and get it ordered. Three days later I got the call to pick it up. Marna makes it super easy to buy what you want and get it promptly. I couldn't ask for a better place to buy a firearm, and I'll certainly buy more at Tampa Tactical in the future. read more

Tampa Tactical is my new found home for anything firearm related. Can't beat the service. Even if Marna is swamped with business, which I don't I have seen her ever not be, she gets you taken care of pretty quickly. They do have a decent selection of firearms, but the great thing is if you know what you want, and one of Marna's distributors has it, you will get it. And a really good deal. This is not the fancy ex furniture store where the mark up on everything is roughly 20-30% presumably to cover their lifetime guarantee you get with any fire arm purchase. Nope, Tampa Tactical is the small shop where everyone knows each other, and there is never a lack of conversation to be had. Lastly, don't forget to bring treats for Max. I was looking to build a ar10/M5 and was looking online for a stripped lower from Aero. Not only did they have it they had it a better price than online. They are also listed as a aero precision website as a distributor. I drove from Oldsmar to this place and could not be happier to support a small business owner. There was a great atmosphere there and I got to tell a joke, hoping I would get a discount, but unfortunately they only give those types of discounts on weekdays that don't end in the letter "y".
