Starting such a huge project as installing a pool can be troubling, given the risks of hiring a…read moreshady/undependable company to do the work and the horror stories you hear. Thankfully, Elite Pool Designs put all of our fears to rest thanks to their amazing customer service, fair prices and excellent, high quality work. We previously had a koi pond in our backyard but, as the fish died out, realized we wanted something else back there instead. We reached out to Elite Pool and Cyndi and she came over the next day to assess our yard. As we had no idea where to start, she helped guide us through the whole process, connecting us with surveyors, tree removal experts and all of the other hidden things you don't think about when you decide "I want a pool". After the work to get the yard ready was done, we went to the Elite Pool offices to pick out the tile, lining and design of the pool. Cyndi walked us through the shape and features we wanted, and provided a very reasonable quote for everything, including, automation, a heater for the pool (hey it DOES sometime get cold here!) and a screen enclosure. Construction for the pool started in October 2024 and finished in late January 2025, and our hat goes off to Robert (owner of Elite Pool) for his help with managing the entire project. Crews arrived as needed and on time, and though there were some periods between steps where not a lot of work was being done, it was never unreasonable and given the holidays, totally fair. Inspection and electrical were simple and easy and now we are ready to enjoy our pool! For anyone in our same position, looking to install a pool from scratch but not sure where to turn, Elite Pool Design should be your first call, can't recommend them highly enough!

After a few months the pool looked like a swamp. I had several quotes to get the pool cleaned and running again, some of these other companies really tried to gouge me and upcharge me on things I did not want. Again they could of gave me an outrageous quote since half the job was done but once again I was given a very reasonable number. Communication was great by phone, text and email. The guys who came out to do the work were very friendly and professional. The job got done in a reasonable amount of time and the pool looks fantastic. The company was know as Walker pools previously but now called Affordable so you can look up both to find them. If I ever need pool repairs again they will be the first ones I call. Really great job.

Sadly, when I arrive at the store this morning the store was permanently closed down with a giant dumpster in front of the store. To summarize, I added adding 5 jugs of liquid chorine and a bag of shock at midnight and by 7AM chorine was all gone and the pool was still green. Right away I added the last 3 jugs of liquid chorine and a bag of shock to th pool, plus 3 chlorine tablets to the skimmer with 4 chlorine tablets in the floaters and it did the job. The chorine lasted all day and the algae is dead, pool is much lighter, but still cloudy as lot of dead algae to remove. I'm happy the algae was finally killed thanks to Elijah and all of his help! In closing the GM Elijah is awesome. He did his very best to help me and I can't thank him enough! If Leslie's management reads this. Elijah should be made GM of another store. He knows what he's doing, and he has a ton of passion, which can't be taught, and amazing customer service!

Cara the owner, was very gracious and advised she would have Ben, her husband, come out and look at the spa pump. Ben came and looked at the pump and felt confident it could be repaired. He ordered the necessary parts and indicated he would let us know when it came in. In the meantime, we mentioned to the pool builder doing the resurfacing that we had contacted Dutchcraft Services to repair the pump. Marty, from US Pools without us asking, stated that Ben does great work and he also recommended them. How cool was that? Ben completed the work. we had a hiccup, not because of anything Ben had done wrong, but the company putting the pebble sheen had plugged the spa to avoid material going into the pipe. They unplugged it and the spa pump works like a charm!! The best part, Ben's price was very reasonable! We are sooo happy with it and we are using the spa more than we ever have! I love this family owned business, they care and are meticulous with their work. Even though I hope we don't have another broken pump, it is reassuring to know Dutchcraft does great work and they are trustworthy and I can contact them should we ever need.. David and Denise

Let me first say that trying to find a reputable pool construction company in this part of Florida…read moreis surprisingly difficult. There are very few good reviews out there. It seems that most customers just post their bad experiences. Don't misunderstand me. There are a lot of bad pool builders in Florida. I interviewed who I believed to be the best 4 Builders. I decided on Tampa Bay because of word of mouth recommendations and JC, their sales consultant. We put JC thru the ringer having him design and re-design our pool a dozen or more times. Each time having to adjust the cost. He was very patient with us until we were happy with the design and cost. Tampa Bay builds over 300 pools a year. That means several are under construction each day. Building a pool is a two month messy process. Each step is done by a specific team of contractors. that due just that step every day. All the work is supervised by one of several Superintendents. We had Ken, who did a great job. The pool was completed to our satisfaction in 8 weeks. After startup they send a technician to teach us how to maintain the pool. They call it pool school. These techs know their business. We are now in a 3 year warranty phase. A new pool is like anything else, you have to get the "Bugs" out of it at the beginning. The warranty dept has been very accommodating. So far, 6 wks after startup everything working great. Their warranties are some of the best in the business.

We have had difficulty with the Warranty Department since installation. I had them out 5-6 times to fix the auto leveler and auto filler. Now they are making us jump through hoops just to get the chlorinator repaired and again they don't believe me that its obsolete. When you get your quotes for installation make sure you require that they use the most current and modern components; have them spell it right out in the contract. Still waiting on the warranty department to come out... its been 2 weeks.
