Cheryl, the technician, immediately noticed and acted with such calm, genuine care. She sat me down right away and asked her coworker, Diane, to bring a cool cloth, which she gently applied to help me feel better. Cheryl asked thoughtful questions and quickly realized I hadn't eaten all day. She offered me a Coke and peanut butter crackers -- I chose the Coke, and within minutes I started to feel more like myself. She stayed right beside me the entire time, making sure I felt safe and supported, while Diane stepped in to complete the mammogram with the same level of professionalism and kindness. He was fine with this and would come back as he needed it for an appointment coming up. When he took it to the appointment he found that the disc was blank only had the prescription and the report no film. He called BayCare and they said that this may of happened but it could have been the doctor's fault if he did not know how to get into the disc. They told him he has to wait 3 business days and has to drive and pick up another disc. Definitely need to work toward ensuring discs work before giving them to patients as this is a large inconvenient for patients who live 30 minutes plus to pick them up again.

Rosemary checked me in, and my paperwork was quickly completed. No problem arriving later rather than earlier. Josh came out to the waiting room to get me at 2:25. He apologized for keeping me waiting, but I didn't mind. I enjoyed sipping on one of the complimentary water bottles while watching the flat screen tv on the wall. He took me into a room to store my things in a locker, and change into cotton pants and top. When I entered the room for my MRIs, Josh provided me with a warm blanket as I lay on the table. He also gave me earplugs to minimize the clunking sounds of the MRI. During the procedure he continued to be attentive, caring, and informative. At 3:15 we were done. I changed back into my street clothes, and walked to the parking garage - a short walk away - to drive home.

They called the day before to make sure I had my prescription available and to confirm my appointment. Parking here is easy. You have the option of the adjacent garage (free) or valet parking. The checkin process was simple and I only waited about 5 minutes. They have pagers like at a restaurant to notify you when they are ready for your imaging. The attendant who completed my MRI was friendly and informative and eased any concerns I had. She gave me headphones and my choice of Pandora station - 80's! It took about 20 minutes and then I was free to go. They have large lockers where you can keep your belongings while your MRI is being done. Hopefully, I'll never have to go back! But If I do I will absolutely use them again.

The supervisor did not return my phone call. The probe used was a GE-IC5-9 made by GE Healthcare. GE Health care is owned by a Chinese company. According to the Food and Drug Administration this probe is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration for use in the United States. Bay Care still refuses to release all of my medical records.
