We have been a customer of theirs for a while and after the storm, our outside elevator was damaged, and the technician said not to use it. When I called to follow up on when the repair would be scheduled, Zoe said that there was nothing in the notes saying that it needs repaired and refused to do anything else about it. I asked to speak with her supervisor, and she said that the supervisor would tell me the same thing. Very rudely she asked if there was anything else and again, I asked if she would leave a message for the supervisor at which point she hung up on me. I called back three times and she would pick up and hang up. There are other companies out there and I HIGHLY suggest finding someone to use other than Sunrise Elevator Company.

They show up with two technicians instead of one and want charge you two hourly rates. Second, they show up don't do any work saying there's a safety issue, they wanna charge you $15,000 to fix the "safety" issue and then they will look into what's wrong with the elevator. Third, the technician says there's no charge because he could not work on the elevator and a month later you get a bill from the office even though they were already two doors down working on the neighbor's elevator. Meanwhile, another elevator company shows up, tells me it's the fuse box and to replace the fuse which we did and the elevator worked fine again as it had done the past 25 years .

Sunrise Elevator - Never Again Once reliable, now a…read moredisaster. Poor workmanship, parts breaking after one use, and they want $190 to fix their own bad repair. Rude front desk (Zoe) hangs up on customers, blocks calls, and stonewalls supervisors. Overcharges, double-bills, ghosts you when confronted. Inflates "safety" issues to sell $15K work you don't need, while another company fixes it with a $5 fuse. Refuses a $35K job over a $500 "policy fee" they'd already charged before. Used to be great -- since 2023 under new ownership, it's arrogance, greed, and zero accountability. Buyer beware.

To start, sold me a "membership" then did not apply the appropriate discount. We had to correct the front office to apply and correct the problem. The phone staff is rude and dismissive. The technicians are nice but contradict each other on price and repairs needed. Estimates change every time someone comes out, they charge for the service fee and dont even repair. This happened 2 times, different techs. No straight answers. The 2nd found more to fix. Beware! The membership is a scam and it is a 2 year minimum. First tech sent seems to be just so they can charge the "service" fee because they dont accurately diagnose the entire problem. Dont expect to get issues fixed the first appointment and the service fee will not go towards any repair. The second appt there is an addition service fee. If they happen to "have the parts", you might luck out and not need a third "service" charge or appt. Just dont.

After the hurricane.. No Elevator since Friday. This is an…read moreeight floor building. Just imagine all the handicaps on wheelchairs who can't leave their apartments due to the no elevator working. They can't get food or water.but yet they are telling people about the rent due date on the 3rd. What about the people who pays with money order and aren't able to go out due to those elevator service to get a money order . And It's going on a week without elevator service. It started to get dark early and for four months, already all the lights in the back by the visitors parking and all the lights by the garage and the front entrance and building have been off for more than four months and nothing has been done about it. It's like they don't care about the people safety. Just as long as they get the money that they care about.. they have people checking apartments they give them the keys and no management or building service person go with them.... Beware of your surroundings in this facility... At 7 PM everything is pitch dark. Be aware be careful, not safe......

The only good thing that's happened in the office is "***" the biggest gossip in the office is **gone** now if they could get rid of the group in the lobby MAYBE the gossiping might & I say might stop.. Of course if you TIP the employees you will get preference on garage space, underground parking space etc.. I was 'perking' them at the beginning until I figured out what the deal was.. FWIW: I received 'another' $100.00 a month rent increase this year, last year it was $135.00 guess I'm paying for all the tenants that get their rent subsidized by one or more government agencies.. BEWARE if you will also be paying 'market rent' like me I pay more than the advertised market rent for a one bedroom... ****************************************************************** NEW: Ok so when were they going to tell ALL the residents that if you are waiting for a package delivery from UPS you MUST be home to let the driver in because if no one is in the office to let the UPS driver in (which is never) you will NOT get the item you paid for the UPS driver will take it back.. UPS left me a message "they could not deliver my package from JCPenney because they could NOT get into the building".... When did this start & how many other delivery companies does this effect and the biggie why weren't the residents told about this change in rules ?????

George and Elevation Tree Service were recommended to me by another service provider who doesn't…read moreserve the area where we live. They came to my house, gave me a quote, and we agreed on a date to get the job done, with the understanding that I already acquired the tree removal permit under my name as an Owner/Builder. The quote included completely removing two trees, flush cutting, grinding out the stumps, and removing and hauling away all tree debris. On the scheduled date, they didn't show up as agreed, so I reached out to George by phone. He informed me that they could still come and complete the job but wouldn't be able to haul away the debris due to full dumpsters following Hurricane Milton. They proposed leaving the tree debris on my property for later removal by FEMA. George then added that if I wanted the debris removed and hauled away immediately, they could do it for an extra charge. It became clear they were taking advantage of the circumstances and the high demand for tree removal services after the hurricane to make extra profit. When I declined to pay extra and requested that they honor our original agreement, George said he would make a couple of phone calls and get back to me. However, he never did, and they disappeared without a word, ignoring my calls and texts. Thankfully, I had other quotes as a plan B. During a time of need following natural disasters, people should come together to help each other and their communities. Unfortunately, monetary gain and taking advantage of others' needs were George and Elevation Tree Service's first priorities. I wouldn't recommend these dishonest and deplorable people to anyone.
