I contacted R2 electrical services to do a job that required a permit in the 2nd week of October. They agreed in thumbtack chat to do so for an additional fee of 300.00 - which I agreed to in writing. R2 showed up on the day of the job without the permit and we asked them to go and come back when the permit was obtained. They then declined to do the job at all despite the prior agreement - setting our project and other contractor scheduling back significantly. I would rather they had declined to open the permit than completely flake out. I would not consider this company to be reliable in any sense and frankly question whether they are licensed properly.

Don't waste your time with this company. I contacted them in regards to having a Generac generator…read moreinstalled. When Chris, an assistant sales manager finally showed up after a week. He spent little time here and said that I would receive a quote within a week. Over a week later, I got the quote for the generator installation less the gas work. He indicated that he would make the arrangements with Suburban Gas for a quote on that part of the installation. It is now a week and a half since he came and no quote and they have done nothing to make it happen. I contacted Generac for a recommendation and they recommended Generator Supercenter - apparently the largest Generac dealer in the country. What a difference. Greg, their rep showed up the next day, spent about two hours here. Measured the electrical needs of the house by walking around the house doing measurements - something not done by Joyner. He then worked up a quote on the spot and as it turned out, I did not need the largest generator that Generac manufactures (as the Joyner rep said I needed without measuring anything - simply looking at my electrical panel), but one size smaller. In addition, he gave me a $1000 military discount. In addition, they take care of all the gas tank installation and make all arrangements with the county. Greg was here just two days ago and the paper work with my survey marked up with their proposed installation was submitted to the county. It was like night and day working with this company compared to Jack Joyner.
