Very mediocre pedicure at best. Water was lukewarm and cold by the time we were done. She never even filed my toenails, just touched a couple of them with the file. Spent more time rubbing the sugar scrub into my legs, so she could talk with her co-worker, than anything else. My legs were starting to hurt by time she was done. me and my best friend went there last Saturday January 25th, for a full set. Waiting wasn't bad, but immediately when I sat down they didn't even take the time to do our cuticles, they just pushed those acrylics on, they were crooked uneven and not even coffin shaped. My friends nails weren't the same color!! Anyways we get done, they charged me $35 + $5 for design, he didn't even do the design he had some other lady come over and do it and my nails were bumpy. I didn't think they were that bad until I got outside and looked. A week later I already two nails fall off. My cuticles weren't pushed back and you could see them. I did not realize until it was too late. her table was so dirty. when you go here, watch to make sure the tools are cleaned before they start working on you. Ensure you specify what service you want as they tend to do additional things and charge extra. If you are not familiar with the services, you will not realize extra things are being done until the billing time. read more

I had such an amazing trying this nail shop today! I got a coffin acrylic set done by Jodie and it was exceptional! I called ahead by 30 min and they were able to get me in right away with only around a 5 minute wait when I arrived. Jodie communicated with me the whole way and explained what she was doing and made sure I liked everything being done so my nails would be exactly what I requested. She was friendly and professional and very gentle with my nails. She chatted with me and her coworkers and never made it awkward. The shop is clean and pretty. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful and the entire experience was awesome. I'll definitely be back for a fill and would highly recommend this shop to anyone! read more

My shellac lasts longer here than anywhere else in the area. I'm someone who can barely get a week, but here I consistently get two weeks out of my manicure. The real reason I'm writing this review thought is the honesty and great service. I've been given extra punches, and even once a nail polish to apologize for a longer wait. The icing on the cake though was what happened earlier this week. I noticed on Tuesday that I had left my ring at Tammy's the day before. This was a one of a kind, 100 year old, platinum and diamond ring that was a family piece. When I called on my work break I was told that yes, they had it. No asking anyone, no pauses, just an enthusiastic yes. I was so relieved and so happy to do business at an honest place. About 10 years ago I had a similar situation occur at another nail salon and I did have the same results. I will be a customers Tammy's for life! read more

This was the WORST pedicure I have ever had! I was hoping for a relaxing experience with a nice set of nails. There was little to no effort given in my pedicure and I left with half of my previous nail polish still on my toes. I went there with four of my other girlfriends and they were all unsatisfied with their finished nails. Wow. This place is ridiculous. The lady's don't care about customer service at all. They can be very rude to you and I saw her rolling her eyes multiple times. If you have a appointment, don't count on it to be in time. They tend to make you wait and don't care about you at all. I'm surprised most of these employees still have jobs! They pick and choose favorites. Everyone knows they are saying some bad things about you while getting your nails done. I rated it 2 stars because my nails here have been good, it's just the lack of customer services that comes to my attention. They really need to step it up. Big time. I've had good experiences here but the last visit was really frustrating. The lady talked on her cell phone most of the time. She dropped the bottle of fingernail polish on the floor and had to clean it off my feet. There wasn't a lot of attention to detail. Overall I felt like she didn't care at all. It also seems sloppy that they do your manicure while you're still in the pedicure chairs, with your hands dangling in the air. I miss being closer to the nail salon in Farmington by Smiths. I went there for years and never had problems. I felt like I got quick, caring service. I just don't have the extra 40 mins to travel there, so I'll give this one another try. read more

I just received the worst manicure of my life. I had to wait about 35 minutes to get started since they were busy, which I wasn't mad about. But my technician obviously felt rushed since more people were waiting to start after me. She trimmed my cuticles dry (ouch), left polish all over my fingers, and at the end during my last cure she pointed to a pot of oil with a brush in it and said "put oil on your cuticles when you're done then wash off and you're done" and walked off to help someone else. That was the first time I had ever been asked to help with my own manicure. I left with bleeding cuticles. Point of the story is: if you see multiple people waiting already, just go back later. They do not do good work when they feel rushed. read more

Do they a great job on nails, however, they do not honor the appointments they set. The last two times I have come in, with a scheduled appointment, I have ended up waiting 30-45 minutes past the appointment time. They continue to say, "5 minutes..." even though an experienced person who has had their nails often can tell there is noooo way they are "5 minutes" from finishing a customer. If I had nothing to do all day, then fine. But, I set "appointments" because I'm juggling my time. My last experience, I arrived at 4:45 and was told "5 minutes" - clearly that wasn't going to be the case based on where they were with clients. So I decided to have a pedicure (which was NOT the service I even came in for) while waiting and told the girl I was in a hurry and had to be gone by 630. At 5:45 I said something, in which she said, "oh Jenny is coming in." Then Jenny comes and she takes another customer who arrived 30 minutes after me. Again I wait. At 6:07 Jenny says, "5 more minutes" for the 5th time (between she and her employee). At that moment they lost my business. I walked out. The woman came after me as I hadn't paid. I gave her cash and she brought change overcharging me $10 for a pedicure gage charged me $40 for a deluxe pedicure which is $30). They have lost my business due to their repeated, and unprofessional business practice. read more

DM ROBERTS) ------- 72 y.o. male with Type II Diabetes... my podiatrist just retired so I choose to get my toenails trimmed at our local shop, Tammy's Nails. As a man walking into their salon, I immediately received icy stares and "What you want?" in a very gruff tone. When I said "a pedicure", the 'skinny one' said "You want big chair" (the fancy recliner for 'the works') for $18 or "You want sit here for $12?" I responded that I would sit in the small, cheaper chair... so she took the drape towel off the BIG chair, and ordered me to sit there. When I said "No" that I wanted the small chair, she was clearly upset and I then realized that either she spoke little English (later proved to be the case) OR was really agressively trying to upsell to the more expensive pedicure. My manicurist was named "Lam Don" (phonetic) and was very nice, gentle, and took her time giving me an excellent pedicure, but also spoke very little English. I tried to explain that I had diabetes but that was only met with a nod and blank stare. From the get-go, these two women (the only ones in the shop) continually talked Vietnamese to each other. When a lady came in (the only other customer) wanting gift certificates, the 'skinny' gal said that she had to call the owner. Apparently she had no idea how to sell their gift certificates... she excused herself and went into the back and talked for nearly 10 min. The lady and I exchanged glances several times with those "What the F----K?" looks on our faces. Meanwhile, Lam Don continued to give me an excellent pedicure for which I gave her a twenty... an $8 tip. Since it's only 2 block from my home, I will give them one more try provided I can have Lam Don but not the other rude, defensive and incompetent woman. read more

I love getting my pedicures here! I was looking for a spot one Sunday afternoon and I called and they fit in not only myself but my friend as well. Even though it was late in the afternoon they took their time and made sure we both enjoyed our pedicures. I have been getting pedicures here for the last 2 years. The quality of the service has gotten progressively worse. I got the worst pedicure I've ever had on Thursday, 8/23. The woman doing my pedicure asked 4 times if I wanted gel, and I declined each time. I had gel on my toes and wanted it removed. She did removed the gel at the end of the pedicure, after my feet had soaked and after she massage my feet. She did not cut my cuticles or the dead skin on my heels. When I went to pay, she told me there was a $5 charge for removing the gel because I didn't get gel again. This additional charge wasn't posted on the price board, and I've never been charged to have the gel removed before. I went somewhere else today to get a proper pedicure. don't waste you're time or you're money. it isn't worth it!! they aren't nice and they don't listen to you. they speak english but they'll act as if they don't understand you if they are in the wrong. they will try to sneak other payments in there randomly so you really have to watch what you are paying for. they charged me $10 extra dollars to get 2 LINES. yes, 2 LINES on my nails and i've always gotten crazy crazy designs and they didn't charge me but they fought me non stop about this AFTER ALREADY RUNNING MY CARD. and when i kept saying they have never done that before or they didn't even tell me it would be $10 extra they ignored me and acted as if they couldn't speak to me. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!! also, making an appointment will not do anything to help with you're time. they don't take the appointments any faster or before anyone else. and sometimes they will even fight you and say you didn't make an appointment even when you've called like 4 times to confirm it. Just moved here and I've always gotten pink and whites ( acrylic). I was very pleased with how they turned out. There isn't a lot of conversation going on if that's what your looking for. I am a licensed Cosmo so I know all the sanitation laws. I've yet to see ANY nail salon follow the rules and keeping things tidy is not their forte.
