He took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of my questions with patience. It was clear how knowledgeable and experienced he is, which gave me a lot of trust and peace of mind. I actually traveled from San Francisco to Arizona for the surgery, and the entire team went above and beyond to help make the process smooth and comfortable. They were incredibly accommodating and supportive, which made traveling for the procedure much less stressful. The whole experience felt very professional and well organized. His office and team were amazing -- always kind, responsive, and truly available whenever I needed them. Knowing that the office was reachable 24/7 gave me a lot of peace of mind throughout the process. Everyone on the team was warm, supportive, and highly professional, and I felt very well taken care of from start to finish. Marcella the nurse was amazing!! I'm very grateful for the care I received and would absolutely recommend him to anyone considering breast reduction surgery.

At the time, I was an uneducated teenager who didn't research surgeons. I ended up with implants that were too large and that I hated almost immediately. After 21 years, two children, and ongoing physical discomfort from the weight of the implants, I was ready to explant. Explant can be intimidating, as you're unsure about how much tissue you'll have left or what the results will be. For me, the added complexity of skin grafts and asymmetry made it even more daunting. I knew I needed to find the best surgeon possible to ensure I was happy with my results and that this would be my last breast surgery. I spent years researching surgeons, and although I always knew Dr. Robert Cohen was my top choice, I consulted with a few others. One surgeon warned that my skin grafts could result in severe asymmetry, and that the graft could even die. In contrast, Dr. Cohen's consultation was reassuring. He simply asked if my grafts were soft and pliable, and when I confirmed, he confidently stated that he could achieve the results I desired. His expertise and confidence gave me complete trust in my decision. Choosing Dr. Cohen was easy. I had followed his work for years and knew he was highly skilled, with a consistent track record of excellent outcomes. I trusted him to deliver the best results, and choosing him eliminated any stress or worry I had about my aesthetic outcome. Dr. Cohen was professional, confident, and direct. Two months before surgery, he drained my saline implants in a quick, painless procedure that gave me time to adjust to a smaller chest and get excited for the breast lift. Immediately after surgery, I was thrilled with the results. My breasts were round, perky, and natural-looking, with well-placed incisions that blended seamlessly with the curves of my body. Recovery was smooth, with minimal pain and no drains (unlike most explant patients). I had no complications, minimal bruising, and received excellent care and follow up from the nurses. The anesthesiologist, also Dr. Cohen, took the time to reassure me before surgery, which made me feel much more at ease. I'm grateful for his kindness. Dr. Cohen's staff was incredibly helpful and supportive, answering all my questions and guiding me every step of the way (special thanks to Laura). I feel lighter, look thinner, and my clothes fit better than ever. My breasts are fuller and more beautiful than I imagined--several friends have even commented that they look like smaller implants. Dr. Cohen is truly an artist, and I'm beyond happy with my results. My husband agrees, saying it was "money well spent!" Choose Dr. Cohen--you won't be disappointed.

Doctors I've seen, I just didn't exactly trust they would do what I wanted and I felt like I was just another patient. Although, its something I've always wanted to do and it's still been on my mind. It was so important that I felt comfortable with whoever I chose, and I absolutely, without a doubt had that with Dr. Mosharrafa. He absolutely listened to my concerns, what I was looking for, and what I wanted to look like. He is so incredibly honest ( I inquired about other things as well) and he told me no on some things and yes on others. I also did an under-eye bleph with him May 2025, and now 3 months later, I'm healed and my results are fabulous. Also, why I was totally 100% comfortable going with him for breast augmentation. It's been about 3 weeks and also thrilled. From the beginning and post surgery. The staff is so so nice and you feel like the only patient. Even at my post-op appointments, I feel so comfortable, I didn't feel like I was bothering him with my constant questions and he would gladly spend all day answering them. I could go on and on. I definitely recommend Dr. Ali Mosharrafa and will see him again in the future.

In June 2025, Dr. Maffi performed a full lift, upper blepharoplasty, and browlift for me. The results have been fantastic and very natural looking, and I cannot express enough how Dr. Maffi and his entire team earned my trust during each step of the process - from the first phone call, to consultation, to surgery and through follow-up. Fully exhibited was their care, their talent, and ultimately their trustworthiness.

I had breast implant removal with this surgeon and my experience was appalling. Before surgery, I…read morespecifically asked if he would close the implant pockets--he assured me he would. I know enough from my OR experience to ask that question. Six years later, I developed another acute infection, only to discover he never closed the pockets. The infection had been encapsulated for years. The surgeon was also extremely unprofessional. His office gave me his cell number and told me to contact him with any concerns. When I sent photos (as instructed) because I was worried part of my breast wasn't getting blood flow, he accused me of sending "lewd pictures." On top of that, when I called with serious concerns right after surgery, he refused to come in to examine me. That refusal was especially alarming given that I know what to look for--I worked in the OR for years, and my ex-husband is a surgeon. My concerns were valid, and his dismissal could have put me at serious risk. He also performed my surgery right before Thanksgiving, then scolded me for contacting him over the holiday, saying "How dare you call me on a holiday." In my opinion, it's irresponsible to schedule surgery before a holiday if you're unwilling to care for your patients afterward. To make matters worse, I had signed paperwork clearly stating I did not consent to residents operating on me. Despite this, I later discovered a resident had in fact participated in my surgery without my permission--something she admitted when I questioned her about the inconsistent suturing. I have debated for six years whether to leave this review because I hate doing this. I almost reported him to the medical board when these issues first happened, but I let it go. However, discovering this encapsulated infection years later was the last straw. Patients deserve to know. In my experience, this surgeon took shortcuts, ignored patient consent, dismissed serious concerns, and failed to provide appropriate follow-up care. I would never recommend him to anyone.

I've tried dieting and exercise to get rid of the loose skin and muffin top with no luck. I had many consultations with different plastic surgeons and never felt comfortable with any of them. It wasn't anything specific but a feeling that they were not what I was looking for. Having several consultations gave me better ideas about what I wanted and what questions to ask. A good friend of mine who is 72 years old mentioned having a breast lift and tummy tuck. She showed me her results and I was sold. She gave me the name of her plastic surgeon and I scheduled the consultation. I saw Dr. Mazaheri at his Beverly Hills practice and he was everything I hoped for. He listened to my concerns, gave suggestions, and helped me make the best decision possible. Dr. Mazaheri suggested breast lift, tummy tuck, and lipo, I opted out of lipo and he respected my decision. Dr. Mazaheri's staff constantly followed up with me answering any questions or concerns I had before the surgery. Staying at a recovery center after my surgery was the best thing I did. It was expensive but definitely worth having 24 hour care for a few days, Let's talk about confidence and how much that makes a difference. I'm able to wear a top or dress without a bra. My tummy although still swollen looks flatter than I've seen it in a long time. Dr. Mazaheri gave me the priceless gift of confidence. He is very talented at what he does. I think most of us go around used to whatever our bodies morph into after having kids. The surgery gave me the confidence in myself that I haven't had in a long time. Dr. Mazaheri came to the recovery center and checked in on me several times. I appreciated the fact that he cared. The nurses at the recovery center said most doctors don't come to check on their patients.

It was billed as plastic surgery, not emergency surgery in a children's hospital and was of course denied by the insurance company (even though my child wasn't getting lip injections or Botox, that's for sure). Anyhow, this office didn't respond to insurance with an explanation to clarify that this was emergency, broken jaw surgery (beyond one sentence that didn't explain anything). Long story short, he aggressively sued me for thousands of dollars and fortunately I won. This doesn't make up for the cruel treatment he made my son endure while he was scared and in tremendous pain, but it certainly didn't add insult to injury. Once again, I hope he is no longer treating children.

In 2017 I made the worst decision of my life and chose to get breast implants. I went with a older…read moresurgeon who had good bedside manner. I thought I was making the right decision by choosing him. When I came out of surgery I discovered that he went over the muscle when most surgeons go under the muscle to prevent discomfot and encapsultions. I also discovered that he removed two moles on my stomach without consent so I could be (in his words) "bikini ready." Two days postpartum I judt didnt feel right. I called my surgeon and told him I didnt feel like myself. He told me it was called "boobie blues" and that I was coming down from the medications that I was pumped with while under anesthesia (fentanyl!). A week in I noticed my boobs were completely numb nipple down. He explained this was normal and feeling would come back within a few months (6 years later they are still numb). Since 2017 my symptoms have progressed. My boobs hurt 24/7 due to just thin skin holding up 375cc's. I started getting crippling anxiety 6 months in. Anxiety so bad that my body would shake while talking to even friends or family I was close with. Along with pain and anxiety came - thyroid imbalance (I now have to take a medication daily since shortly after surgery), hair loss, memory loss, absence/disconnectment/psychosis, constant fatigue, monthly sinus infections, random tongue swelling, reduced oil production on face and scalp, weight gain/swelling, body aches/joint pain. EVERYDAY for 6 years I have been experiencing these symptoms. I feel lost, I feel hopeless, I feel stuck. I carry around an epipen for fear of my life when my tongue swells and my throat closes. My left breast has been trying to encapsulate since the year it was put in. I went in to the surgeon over SIX times telling him I could feel and visibly see what feels like a bump or ripple on two spots of my left implant. Each time he squeezed my boob Incredibly hard until you would hear a "pop" which is tearing the scar tissue around it. One of the times they recorded it on their iPad so they could show my husband how to do it at home. I left each time with fingerprint brusies from him. The final time I went in for this reason my husband demanded he wrote an order for a MRI. He wrote the order but refused to pay for it. So no idea what's going on in there. Fast forward to 2020 during quarantine - his assistant messaged me and asked if she could send the video of him squeezing my boob to another patient of theirs who was having the same problem. I told them absolutely not!! I have researched hundreds of surgeons to have a total explant removal along with a full capsulectomy. The cost is more expensive then what I paid to have them put in. Getting implants have been the worst decision of my life and I will stop at nothing to get them removed. I have 2 young boys and am self employed. I feel like ive lost 6 years of my life and I am terrified to lose more. I even started an anti depressant this year and have tried Nutrafol and many other vitamins to help my hair and body heal. My hair comes out in handfulls. I have hated my implants since the day I got them and I wish I could go back in time.

Dr. Bass in our opinion is one of the most talented plastic surgeons in Arizona. He has come through for us every single time and we have asked a lot of him.
