Family owned--Kellan, Terri, and everyone in the staff were so unbelievably transparent, friendly, helpful, and amazing to work with. The communication is on point and everything was seamless since their packages include basically everything! Even the small amount of things not included in package pricing, they gave recommendations that were great! The property is so beautiful and so well maintained even when we toured it when it was raining and sleet coming down! The ceremony site is a dream, which flows right into the cocktail area, and then reception/dinner in the beautiful, rustic barn and everything flows perfectly. It's small enough to where people don't wander off and disappear or get too separated, but big enough to provide spaces and pockets for people to hang out in. Fox in the Woods Catering was absolutely delicious and the venue tasting was great--we had such a hard time deciding what to choose because it was all so good. The bridal suite did get a little warm on our 80 degree wedding day, but they have portable air conditioners that helped. We loved the table and mirrors so my bridesmaids not getting hair and makeup done could do their own there. The groom suite is a great spot for the guys and every space is so well put together and comfortable. Our day of coordinator included with the venue, Ashly, was amazing in creating our day of timeline, setting up decor and making sure our vision came to life. Family owned and operated was the way to go. We felt so special and didn't have a single thing to worry about and we had the most perfect wedding day. May, the wedding coordinator, could not have been more helpful or friendly, from organizing the rehearsal the night before to working with all the ladies in the bridal suite and the day of the wedding. The after-wedding food was good, the DJ excellent and was open to playing requests and the two bartenders friendly and helpful in doling out the drinks, including about 40 tequila shots to toast the bride and groom. We gave Brian the songs we'd want during our ceremony and he reminded us to think about the songs we wanted as our grand entrance, cake cutting, and last dance song. Like any wedding there's a set schedule you want to follow to have the event go smoothly, Brian not only was the best MC to keep our wedding schedule on track but he played the best music throughout the night. We made a change in the schedule and he was flexible to announce when we wanted anything announced to get the guests attention for us. We opted for the photobooth and his team did a great job with set up and the props. All our guests had a blast with the photobooth! Brian surprised us with the vintage video guest book, and we were the first couple to use it. I highly recommend getting this as an add on as we had fun recording the intro message. She somehow managed to get everything set up perfectly while still being available for every question, every little thing we needed throughout the day. She wasn't just doing a job; she genuinely cared and showed up for us in a way that felt like we had a trusted friend by our side. Then the rain hit during our reception. My wife and I were starting to lose it, but Megan stayed calm and steady. She pulled up this detailed weather app, helped us time our photos and speeches perfectly between the downpours, and kept our spirits up when we felt like giving up.
