My fellow mama friends and I love this new park! It's next to a new development at the end of Peachwood Street. Turn left at the top of the hill on Tamarisk, you'll see lots of tennis courts on the left and a basketball court, and to your right is the park below the stairs/ramps. Parking on the streets. I love that this park is very open. There's 2 playgrounds: one for the young tots, and one for the older kids, but just as easily can be fun for both young and older. There are 2 infant swings, and 2 regular swings. Along with a rock climbing structure, the large circular spinning seat, and 2 wooden horses with the metal spring on the bottom for individual riding. My son found a raccoon carving on one of the wooden structure. Looks like "Rocket" from Guardians of the Galaxy. He wanted to feed him the wood chips... haha The park also offers a ginormous soccer/baseball field and another basketball court even down below the playground area. As my friend commented, "you could hit a homerun and not have to worry about hitting a window." Very true, There's so much open space. My only wish is that they had a covered seating area, like a gazebo or a covered picnic table area. There are about 7 (?) benches to sit on along the playground structure. I also saw about 5 or 6 picnic tables that's a bit of a walk from the playground area, but those also did not have any type of covering. Overall, it's a quiet neighborhood and my family had a great time!

Nice baseball field and basketball court

First time visiting this park and it was a hit! There are restrooms near by which is a plus! Based on other reviews- they mention the bathrooms being very clean. Guess we shall find out later. The playground is a good size with plenty of fun for the kids. I posted lots of pics :) Another great thing about this park is the cleanliness and well maintained landscape. There is a great baseball field and basketball court too! Not to mention great trails for running or walking. Will absolutely be back again.

    Dogs off leash everywhere

Didn't get a chance to explore the park due to the locals using it as a dog park. When we arrived there were about 12 different dogs all off leash running about. The owners all seemed pretty friendly with one another, which makes me think this is a common occurrence at this park. Unfortunately my dog gets anxious around other dogs and we couldn't risk them running up to him uninvited, so we had to take him elsewhere. Dog owners - please be considerate of others, not everybody wants to or can have their dog around off leash dogs. I hate it when dog owners think they can ignore the rules, it's so bloody selfish. Rules keep dogs and owners safe. This is NOT a dog park, put your dogs on their leashes.

    Beautiful kids play area.

*** Pitstop Review (Lake Forest) *** Wow! What a beautiful hidden gem tucked away in Lake Forest. I've past by this park many times and never even knew it was here. There's a small sign at the entrance where you'd have to travel down a small windy road. The entire park, the field, the kids play area is all soooo pristine. This really says volumes about the people who live in this area. The folks around here rock! :-) (I'll be honest, I wish my kids had a place this nice to play in.) Here's what liked... * Lovely gigantic and well maintained field! * Everything is so well maintained! * Nice gigantic kids play area (looks new). * Super spotless restroom. That's a crazy statement to say about a public restroom, but it's true. * So quiet and relaxing here. Almost makes me want to meditate :-) Here's what I didn't like... * Geeze, what's there not to like???
